Incomparable view. The food, for most of our party, was delicious. Waited far too long for a table. Maitre'd just kept making excuses for why we couldn't be seated for our 8pm reservation.

Beautiful establishment, my Daughters Wedding was held here.

The dinner was as good as the view.
The best part was our server Tom was awesome and made the experience one to remember

A fantastic view and old charm. Excellent service. NOT vegetarian friendly. The vegetable strudel is awful. Dessert is wonderful.

Horrible food and service I would of been more full on subway

Not worth the money. The Filet Mignon is really disappointing, even worse than what I can cook with the beef I bought from the supermarket. The only good thing about this place is the view.

My friends and I had dinner at Le Mont on Thanksgiving evening around 7:30 PM. The Matre D was amazing and very accommodating as we did not have reservations. He explained that he had a cancellation and seated us at a table with an amazing view. My girlfriend and I had drinks only and the couple we were with had dinner which was Buffett only that night. After about 45 minutes our waiter came to the table and put the check on the table and said I ll take this when you are ready . Our guest at the time, where back at the Buffett and we were about to order another glass of wine. I said to the waiter, we were not quite ready and would like another drink. He abruptly shook his head as if to say no and grabbed the check off of the table and walked away. After several minutes he returned to take our drink order and I asked, do we have to be finished at a certain time ? His response floored me. He said I would like to go home and have dinner . Are you kidding me? One of the classiest restaurants in Pittsburgh and some rude, complacent, ruin my business waiter says this? To make matters worse, I spoke with the GM, Dani, afterwords and she said that she had spoken to him but she had no remorse. I have never been treated like this in any restaurant, even Mc Donalds. I have visited this restaurant many times over the years but it will be a long time until I or my friends return.

Both food and service are extremely overrated for the price. Sadly disappointed given the reputation.

The scenery was incredible. The filet was good and the surf was mediocre... the shrimp was overcooked and the scallops were not seared.

I'm giving it 2 stars because I can't give it 2 1/2. I'll start at the end. We had coffee (not cappuccino or espresso) which cost $7.50 for two ~5 oz. cups. It was somewhat week and "meh." That sums up the entire meal. Nothing really great. The best thing is clearly the view. Everything else is tired, dated, and lack luster. The decor needs an overhaul, as does the food. I can't imagine paying full price.

There are not enough stars to rate the LeMont! The experience was PERFECT in every single way from the valet back to the valet after dinner! Restaurant was exquisite, view of Pittsburgh was phenomenal, quality of food and preparation was perfect and EXCEEDED expectations and service was ABSOLUTELY 2nd to none! If you paid me to find something wrong with our evening, I could not do it! Jeanne and I were treated and felt like royalty! Thank You LeMont for an absolutely PERFECT evening!

Don't go to this place. It has the most horrible food ever! The steak smells and tastes like it is at least a week old. So bad that I wrote this review inaide the restaurant ...

We had our daughter's small wedding at LeMont and everyone at the restaurant was so attentive and the waiter, Marco, was excellent. We dined in the main dining room and it was very nice. The food was excellent, perfectly prepared and served quickly. The view was amazing. They definitely helped to make our daughter's special day even more special.

A birthday dinner that was excellent! Our server Tom Z. Was very good, great personality and brought me a piece of cake and sang happy birthday!"so unexpected! We had colossal shrimp cocktail to start...excellent! Corn potato chowder excellent....surf & turf with the shrimp, not lobster. All very good! They have a great Autumn menu for $38 for 3 course meal. The view was spectacular! Our reservation was for 7:00 pm, so we were able to see view daytime/nighttime. Wow! Definitely would recommend!

Very nice atmosphere and beautiful scenery I really enjoyed myself at this establishment...They were very welcoming warm and professional.

I used to eat there years ago and it was great for the most part. Just an observation here but we made a reservation and could not keep it. We did forget to cancel it. They called my phone 8 times. It was a Sunday Night. It reached the point of being ridiculous. After the 2nd time it got sort of pathetic for a restaurant with a 5 star rating. Sounds like they are desperate and the end is closer than the beginning.

Once a year my wife and I have a tradition of spending a chunk of money on a nice, formal dinner. Not something I would justify doing much, but it's nice to have a good dinner now and then. This year we chose the LeMont and I was a little disappointed in the choice.

The restaurant is built in older style glamor and I liked the decor for the most part. They sat us in a window-side table with a gorgeous view. I think the restaurant uses that as a major selling point. Now, here was my biggest issue. If I'm spending $100 a piece on dinner, I don't want other people 2 feet from my elbow. I don't want to hear the conversation at the table beside me. I don't wanna strain to hear my wife over the lady next to me. There are restaurants in town where you feel like you are the only people there. They know how to create ambience. This is not one of those.

I got the Blooming Iceberg salad to start and it was good, but I wasn't that impressed. Good dressing but kind of lacking on ingredients. It was lettuce with a few bites of extra. My entree was the Strip Steak. Now, that's where the stars were earned. That steak was freaking fantastic. Sides were okay, but like wedding banquet good if you know what I mean. Decent food you'd be happy to get at a wedding for free, but not with a $60 steak. We both chose dessert off the cart and I did have a really good coconut cake.

The server was friendly and offered great service. They had a dude whose job is just to take the plates and keep your water coming and he was on top of his job.

All in all, it's a good restaurant but having been to other top notch restaurants in town, I wouldn't choose this one again.

Well the atmosphere was awsome was there on 11/16 for light up night took 200 minutes to get drink at bar. And the crabcakes were all bread and dry could not break the outside shell of the potatoes. The lamb was chewy which for 40.00 you would think, it would have been prepared better. they also should not have charged an extra 8.00 for the salad with ymthe meal.

We had our church Valentine's Day event at the LaMont and it was wonderful. Exquisite view, excellent service and the food was marvelous. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. My only complaint is that the soda, and juice wasn't as flavorable as it should have been...aside from that everything was great!!!

Dont waste your money at this place. Its a mear shale of the great french restaurant it once was. Sous vide filet was first over cooked. Sent it back and received another filet that was cold raw and not even grilled on the bottom of the steak. The vedgtiables and potatoes served with meal were unedtiable. The bartender couldn't even make a drinkable Manhattan. The worst expensive meal my family has had in over 10 years. Should have know something was up when i saw that 75% of their seats were empty at 4:30 on a Sunday before the penguins Bruins game.

My husband and daughter and I went to LeMont last Thursday. The light on the table was filthy, the window had so many spiders on it that you didn t feel like eating. My
Daughter and I had the chicken special and it was disgusting. For what they charge, it was definitely not worth it. We won t be returning.

Went for our first anniversary which coincidentally was during Pittsburgh restaurant week! The food was excellent. I had the filet cooked at a perfect medium. The cappuccino rub was amazing! My girlfriend had the veal which was topped with crab meat. Delicious. The view speaks for itself, couldn t get a better seat looking over the entire city! Staff was great and treated us wonderfully, greeting us with a happy anniversary. I would recommend LeMont for any special occasion!

I just watched PTL food review with Celina Pompeani. Why the hell were the management and cooks not wearing masks during the presentation??!! Poor Celina trying to taste the food with a mask ON made her look foolish and so uncomfortable. Regardless of the govt guidelines the management should have at least distanced. We won't ever go to LeMont after that presentation.

Beautiful views, food was ok, some courses better than others

Was here with a very large group (over 200). The staff was amazing! The view of the city is the best you'll find anywhere!

Beautiful view but terrible food. For how much they charge the food was gross. I ordered the crab cakes. They tasted fishy and old. Will prob never go again. Was very excited to try it but the food ruined it. I went with four other people and they were all disappointed also. Don't waste the money. Plenty of other places to go to see the view.

I have attended an annual tea at the Lemonte each year and while I continue to enjoy the occasion, yesterday the food was below average and the service was poor.

This restaurant serves very nice Turkish dishes. We liked the Hummus dip,the pita was tasty as well. The kebob was spicy and awesome too. I recommend for desert the Konefe. You won't regret. Service should be a bit better. As we arrived all outside doors were locked.

Very posh. A must vist if ever in Pittburgh. Best views.

Salads were meager for $10. Couple sprigs of frizzy lettuce with 3 to 4 grape tomatoes. Shrimp were small. They used to serve the shrimp cocktail in a boat with dry ice steaming and large 10 - 12 shrimp per pound, now they are 14-16 size and served on a plate. The Steak Diane was good, served tableside. Disappointed with being placed in bar area (noisy with Steeler game playing) with majority of restaurant empty at that time. From prior experiences I feel the food quality has slipped, left feeling underwhelmed. Once a prestigious 5 star restaurant now feels only 3 stars.

Beautiful restaurant, very classy. Service is great but the food is subpar, so are the desserts. I was pretty disappointed by this place!

Classic continental dining with modern preparations.

Chef was very nice .personally welcomed my wife and I. Had the filet that was perfectly cook Pittsburgh rare. Wifey had lobster and jus an overall great night and best view in city. Mt washington is happening plus I got laid.

Beautiful view overlooking the city of Pittsburgh just above Three Rivers Stadium the south side of river. Food was very good.

We recently rented a private room for a special dinner at LeMont. The took such wonderful care of us, catering to our every need. We were offered a fixed menu with a nice array of options for everyone's tastes. I chose the tortellini and it was excellent! And don't get me started on the view...It's amazing! I highly recommend the LeMont, especially for special occasions

View is second to none, food, service, and decor need some help. Passed appetizers and desserts on trays but didn't have personal plates to put them on.

5 star if waiter was devoted to us and not the whole wing, dont like waiting. But this atmosphere demands patience and time. Food was as wounderful as described. Added a slice of cake on the house on our anniversary. Thank you LeMont, back soon.

We were celebrating my friends wedding there and the waiters were very rude, unprofessional, careless, and disrespectful! I couldn't believe it because this establishment boasts "5 Star Diamond Award"

The event was very well attended (Allen Place Community honoring Afro American DOCTORS & NURSES. Also the food was enjoyed.

The food was very good, but for $115 a plate, I thought it would be better. The carrots were phenomenal though! Overall, the environment made me feel uncomfortable. It just feels outdated to me.

The restaurant and view of the city was beautiful. The service, food and entertainment was impeccable. The experience is worth the price.

The food was perfectly prepared and perfectly presented. The taste was in line with the presentation perfect. The waiters were excellent. The coffee so-so for such a fancy place.

Fabulous experience. Hosted a luncheon for 45 people, and Bill from the banquet department was incredibly accommodating. Ordered several gluten free meals that were also excellent. Very reasonable prices for such great food, view and a storied Pittsburgh institution. Was nice to see a restaurant that still understands the subtle needs of clients. Staff are well trained and experienced in provided a one-of-a-kind experience. My family and I will be back.

Wonderful view. Great service. However decor is a little outdated.

Went here for my bday dinner and was thrilled with the decor. The view wasn t there because the fog was that bad but didn t think it took away from the ambiance. The service was okay but the food was mediocre at best. Served with what tasted like instant mashed potatoes and frozen carrots was a very dry, over cooked sea bass swimming in a sauce way too sweet. The cake was just...okay. Nothing was worth the price or the quality you would think you would get here. I will say the bar is great, we stayed for a drink and loved the performer and the bartender was generous and friendly. Will not return unfortunately....

Had a Rare burger, grilled flavor and it was Rare, 2 thumbs up. I hope the Waiter has a second job. Good dipping oil but too few pieces of fresh bread. So so onion rings. Beautiful decor.

Delicious food, great service and the view is spectacular!!!

This was overall a very disappointing experience. The wait staff was excellent and very attentive but that is where my positive feedback ends. I started off the meal with the soup of the day which was eggdrop. It was way too cold and there was only one tiny piece of chicken in it. It was also a bit bland and disappointing. For my main course, I got the cajun pork. It was not a tenderloin as advertised. It was tough and not cajuny enough, and like the soup, cold. The portion was surprisingly large, I was able to bring home 60% of it for my dog. For dessert I had the creme brulee. It was actually quite nice. There was too much charred sugar on top, it reminded me of a thick layer of ice on a lake. Of course this item was cold too, but it was still the best part of the meal. The faux upscale ambience was not impressive to me. The $7 valet service was laughable, we just parked on the street. 1/5 would not recommend.

We decided to go to the Lemont for our Anniversary over the weekend. When we got there we could not find a parking space anywhere on Mt. Washington and were forced to pay $9.00 for valet parking (No big deal). We got there and were seated right away. We noticed that there was a table there full of menus, salt and pepper shakers, numerous chairs, and a bunch of other service items stored right in the middle of the dinning room. I understand that they had to reduce seating to follow COVID-19 guidelines, but this looked terrible. This is supposed to be a fancy restaurant. This area looked more like a storage area. We both ordered off of their Anniversary menu ($60/person). The appetizers were average. We ordered the Escargot Alio, and it was ok, the escargot was a little fishy. We also ordered the Coquille Lemont and the lobster was completely overcooked to the point of nearly inedible. The shrimp that were on this appetizer were not properly cleaned either. There was still the vein left in the shrimp. My wife ordered the Le Mont Salad and it was good, a little overdressed, but overall pretty good. I ordered the caesar salad, and this was way underdressed. When I was finished with my caesar salad there was not any dressing left on the plate. When we received our main courses you could tell that the broccolini was way overcooked. Almost like it was par cooked and then warmed up before serving. The potatoes were ok, just bland. My wife's beef wellington was actually cooked perfectly (No complaints there). I had the rack of lamb. They were actually pretty good. Could have used a little more seasoning, but overall acceptable. For desert, my wife ordered a pecan ball. When this came out it was rock solid. There was no way that you could eat this upon it getting to the table. This are either purchased this way or made in advance and placed in the freezer. This is supposed to be a fine dining restaurant. There is no way that a dessert should come out to a table that cannot be eaten immediately! Our server told us that if we wait we would be able to eat it. That floored me. We should wait for our dessert to thaw out to eat it after they present it to the customer? This should NEVER happen. My cannolis were pretty good, but I've had better.

Overall, we were not impressed with our meal. Yes, we ate a majority of our food, but we will not be going back here. The view of the city is spectacular, and the restaurant was beautiful (other than the storage area in the middle of the dining room). Our final bill was about $150. I would have much rather gone somewhere else! Live and Learn.

Lemont is the restaurant that my wife and I got married at. Very elegant, classy establishment. Every time we come to dine at LeMont, it's a five star experience. From the maitre D, to our personal waiter, they're sure to make sure we are cared for. They have an expansive wine list, and the market selections for seasonal items is superb. We have been dining here for the past ten years, and we will certainly be returning for many years to come!

Grand place to eat dinner and be treated like royalty! The Maitre D, Tony was very attentive and got us seated rather quickly by the window per our request. Bob our waiter got us everything we asked for. The food was divine! Great job!
