Le Meridien Barcelona Review

It is half a block from La Rambla. Very touristy. It was our first time in Barcelona. So this hotel is convenient. I would say the room is small but sufficient.

Second floor, double room, friendly service and well connected.

Front desk staff not at all friendly we had bad experience

Prime but busy location, close to everything, rooms were big, bathroom was gorgeous, breakfast was delicious, and you're a 5 min walk from the food market - a foodies dream. They also include complimentary tickets to Palau Guell. Love this hotel, will stay again!

The hotel is in a great location and the room was very nice. My only pet peeve was that when you pay 800 euros per night for your room, full internet should be included in that price. Charging extra for that is petty.

Very efficient staff. Concierge sevice was great. Especially Maria,very knowledgeable,friendly and responsive. Always pleasant and smiling.!

Always a great place when you want to stay on La Rambla.

Centrally located hotel right on the Ramblas. Room is getting old.

Breakfast was fine. The rooms were small and the wifi was expensive for really no reason--much better hotels in the city offer free wifi. The staff were surly and became angry when we asked to change rooms to be near the elevators due to an injured member of my party---they initially refused, then agreed, then told us (after changing the booking) that we would have to wait an extra five hours for the room because of the change, which struck us as punitive. We overheard another agent making telephone reservations, and it was clear that at least half the hotel was unoccupied, making it absurd to resist changing a customer's room at check-in.

The tapas were good but don't love the paella (mixed). They have good sangria's and the waiter was very helpful.

The staff and cleanliness were all amazing, but if you absolutely need Wifi for work, or in our case it was mandatory in order to book classes, Le Meridien is NOT the place to be. It s sad because everything else was great but Wifi was essential to our stay and despite bringing up the issue with staff, we weren t offered to switch rooms or given any other options. The TV and movies weren t working for our room either for the majority of the time, which also sucked because we wanted something to do without the Wifi. Would not recommend.

Great access to shops, bars, and restaurants. Spacious rooms and great customer service. If you re a Bonvoy member, make sure to get the free breakfast, it s definitely worth it.

Great location especially if you are looking for a hotel central a lot of the sites and attractions. Walking distance from so much! The staff was accommodating and the rooms are clean. Would recommend this place to anyone coming to barcelona.

Hotel Le Meridien has exeptional service. The entire staff is attentive and they go above and beyond expectations. The hotel is located in the heart of Las Ramblas which is supervised by plenty of Barceloa's local police. Shops and dinning are within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel and will definately be coming back. Thank you for making this experience memorable.

I love this hotel! I stay here every time I am in BCN for work. The hotel is always immaculately clean, the rooms are well furnished and equipped, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast in the morning can t be beat. As a platinum SPG member there is always a bottle of wine in my room to say thanks which no other property in the WORLD does.

was nice in total . room was good.
i stayed in family suite and terrace suite
the shamefull thing is that the terrace suite view is blocked by garden
same as the public terrace with jacuzi
the view is hidden which is maybe for privacy
breakfast is good and enough to keep you full till noon .
service is good in general .
the spa is good cause is empty for most times. you feel like your own private spa.
gym is small but enough to do some workout
the only thing to question is the price . and what can you get for it in other 5 stars hotels.
lack of views was aminus for me .
cause iv been to other hotels with amazing view while you are in pool or jacuzii.

Absolutely wonderful and courteous staff, clean and tidy rooms with an amazing view, had a wonderful experience staying with them.

The Le Meridien Hotel Barcelona is great because of it s location, the staff are friendly and very helpful! Highly recommend this hotel! They have a great coffee shop inside the hotel, that makes delicious iced mocha with touch of vanilla. Delicious The breakfast is outstanding and the waiters are beyond friendly and helpful!

The price is very high for the quality of the rooms, poor decor, slow service and a very annoying location. There is a clear mistake in its classification as a five star hotel, compared to a much better 4 star hotel. It was a bad choice for me to stay in. After my experience at the famous Majestic Hotel , You are not allowed to ask for more than one bottle of water a day and do not respond to your request in case you asked for an increase of towels, the value of electric conductor was calculated, and this is very strange and did not face around the world in five-star hotels, 1200 SAR per day more than worth, , Was talking to the parent company and with management and responsiveness was less than expected, I do not recommend it For people who are accustomed to luxury and excellent service

Last birthday happened to be at this hotel. At breakfast 29, the three waitresses slowly walked towards me holding a cake and singing a happy birthday song. Especially warm! Forgot to comment before. Make up now. More

Pretty disappointed. We were put in a first room that smelled strongly of smoke, we changed to a room whose window isolated very bad noise on the outside. The extra pillows we requested were of poor quality. Finally the outdoor relaxation area, the terrace of the 6th floor, is very small and rather basic, with very worn sunbeds.

Located on the ravine. Good service excellent staff. Good price quality. Recommendable. Do not forget to stop by the bar

Restaurant on the ground floor, accessed by Ramblas de les Flors.

I do not know if the administration or management of the restaurant has to do with the hotel, but if the hotel has nothing to do with the care of the restaurant, they should be differentiated on a platform like google so that each one receives the pertinent criticism independently.

Of course, the quality offered last Saturday was disastrous.

The salad: "Florette"

Salmon: 8x2 cm piece in a 60 cm diameter plate. With vegetables in the wok (better said "Pepper" in the wok). Correct taste.

The risotto: Extremely raw (for a very Italian chef, when you hear the crunch of the next person chewing, with his mouth closed, it is because it is raw). Correct taste.

Macaroni: eight macaroni, "bad comptats." Lately, pasta is trading higher on the Wall Street stock market.

Macedonia: In syrup.

Total, a disaster.

I only knew the Restaurant. Good service, but insufficient quality for my taste.

The location is in La Ramblas which is perfect for a tourist. However the rooms are very cramped up and there is basically not much of a view. I had a suite and that was very basic actually. The staff were average and lacked the warmth you get used to see in other preterites in the far east. Breakfast was average and nothing great.

Good area, plaza catalunya. Good for shopping. Less free English Channel. Had to improve on this. Need for pay for demand movies .For Tourist from international countries not only for the locals.

The food is fine, some detail that I did not like is that we ordered fat salt for the meat because we found it soda and after so much waiting it got cold and then they told us that there was not ... and another is that they brought us coffee and They put it next to the dessert plate that was immense, when the client finished something first he retires and then the next one is served. the medium-high price but with the fork it stays good. Although the details are very annoying.

Of the minuses: the room is not ready for occupancy on time, the problem of sound insulation, the view from the window to the wasteland, cleanliness in the spa area.
Pros: location, comfort and comfort rooms, comfortable bed, cleanliness.

we booked a junior suite with an extra bed , the extra bed was right in front of the master bed , its really hard to judge the room layout with the photo shoped picture , sometimes they post on website , the website should post a layout also along with pictures ,they should put ok for 3 adults just on the basis of area , the shower area is really small , its hard to miss , your elbow hitting the walls , we were in the top floor with an reaaly excellent view and yes the breakfast was also good

The hotel was at an excellent location and the rooms were decent. The service wasn't as good as the other Le Meridien Hotels I visited. They don't give the breakfast complimentary for platinum guests, instead we can choose to skip the 1000 points welcome gift for breakfast. But overall it was a decent stay.

As a person with an invisible disability, the staff went out of their way to make our stay amazing! They were helpful, knowledgeable, and absolutely kind. I had a wonderful experience at the spa. I recommend this hotel and hope to come back again! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

All right, the service and the attention very good. clean rooms. Take it into account x location if they go with guys or as a couple and just want to move walking is close to everything. meters of the rampla. near the port and beaches as well as plaza catalunya.

Stayed here for 4 days in September with my gf. While some of the rooms are on the old side, the service was very good. We had a room with a terrace, and a few outdoor chairs which had gotten wet due to the rain. The hotel staff was prompt in getting them cleaned and dried. Location is also fantastic for a short stay in Barcelona.

Very central on the main street. Comfy rooms. Had no bother there whatsoever. Did not like the Restaurent much and for such a great location they had no table and chairs outside while.others had.

Location is great. Some of the staff are rude. AC didnt work we asked to fix they offered fan which is not acceptable when you have a child. Then we discovered that most of the residance are complaining from the heat and AC. The enterance is not ready for strollers. Lefts are too small

Fairly touristy hotel in a privileged position. The new grand terrace suites are very beautiful and quiet, as they are located on the top floor in a dedicated wing. Huge panoramic terrace, equipped with sofa, armchairs, sun beds, shower ... Staff not always particularly courteous and helpful.

Had a wonderful stay at Le Meridien, thanks to a package deal from Costco. It is in a prime location in the heart of Barcelona, and the stuff were very helpful in helping us navigate the city. It's a 5 minute walk from Plaza Catakunya, where you can grab connections by bus, train, or metro, making getting around the city a breeze. They also have a WONDERFUL breakfast buffet

Great location, near shopping, great restaurants, and attractions. The staff is nice, but they are very disorganized. Additionally, the rooms are a bit dated. The bathroom in my suite could've used some remodeling.

Great service! Excellent location, right on La Rambla between all the sights and the beach. And great food right around the corner with Lobo, Gato, and Casa Guinart! Front desk was always helpful and Cheery. And ether concierge was extremely helpful with restaurant recs and reserving tickets!
