Modern and very beautiful
We can go to nearby island by taxi of sea immediately
Too cool the staff is very good and I had a very good week kend
Very comfortable accommodation. I don't understand why the beachside bar closes so early.
Ideal in Noumea for a drink at sunset or at noon on the ocean fare snack very correct prices correct except for vege
Possibly the best location in Noumea, this hotel has everything to help you to relax, organize your activities and exercise. Beautifully presented and kept rooms, nice pool area, very modern gym, good restaurants.
Beautiful resort, nice landscaping, friendly staff, cool vibe and decor!
Nice location expensive to eat there and some of the staff could use some people skills training
The room had a great view of the beach and was well kept. The service was exceptional, all of the staff were friendly and were able to speak French and English. They were happy to help with any requests and to organise bookings. I would highly recommend this resort.
A great hotel in a beautiful location. This is definitely the best hotel in the area in comparison. Great pool and gym facilities. The pool and pool bar does close early which is a missed opportunity for the hotel for tourists wanting to unwind in the evening. Meals are expensive but so is almost everything in New Caledonia outside of the hotel. You get a complimentary daily coffee at the bar which is a nice touch. Great hotel for both families and couples.
Because there is a little far to downtown and a slope, it is hard to go out except by car.
Superb location, excellent accommodation and very professional staff especially concierge Christophe, without whom we would still be at the airport...the breakfast was included in our rate, but the menu options for
Lunch and Dinner was unimaginative and very very expensive...as were the beverages...we expected interesting French food but were most disappointed....as were many other guests we spoke to at the hotel and at the airport...luckily the nearby Anse Vata beach bistros, especially the Pizza and Pasta venue provided a variety of tasty food, good portions and fairly reasonable wines....the number of TV programs devoted to food would, we'd have thought, encouraged a better food and beverage standard at Le Meridian...even a simple BBQ at lunch at the great Fare
Venue overlooking the beach....we will return once we know that we can obtain better food and beverage, at moderate costs.
Wonderful place. Great facilities and great service. Staff are very friendly.
This luxury hotel is a tropical resort. A spacious lobby with spacious lounges, a pool and a private beach directly connected to the garden, and separate swimming pools for marine sports and swimming.
Japanese staff were helpful too. You can borrow bicycles for free during the day, including snorkel equipment, beach towels and mats.
Local people were very cheerful and kind.
I really liked staying here. Great location close to Anse Vata. Great restaurants. Very friendly staff. Good amenities for guests. I would definately stay there again.
Resort was lovely. Buffet breakfast great. Not much choice for dinner if you wanted to stay in the resort though. Not a big deal as town is close and The Chateau next door has great places to eat. The pool manager is very strict which is good and bad (ie kept people coming in from the beach out of the resort when they shouldn't be there but then had a go at the kids because they were hopping on the island in the middle of the pool when there wasnt anything to say they couldnt be there). Very helpful though. Spa was lovely too.
Great massage in a fabulous settings. Don't forget to go to the spa late afternoon
Very nice upscale resort. The staff are friendly, helpful and certainly went out of their way to ensure that we had a wonderful stay.
We had a beautiful view along with several accoomedations that made our stay in new caledonia excellent. The restaurants were definitely another highlight to be noted though a bit expensive, everything was delicious and on point. The staff can also book taxi boats to maitre and duck island and the pick up point is a 5 minute walk along the beach. There also occasionally events held at the hotel making the stay more interesting. The staff spoke English , french, and some Japanese as well. Bikes are also free to rent.
The bus from arc en ciel can also be booked to pickup and drop off to the hotel making it convenient to check oi and check out.
It is a bit of a walk from here to the main downtown area however but overall the stay was worth it.
The room was always clean and had everything we needed. We ordered breakfast to our room and ate it on the balcony which was simply magnificent.
If we come back we would definitely like to stay again.
There are beautiful open beaches and sunsets, and the staff is friendly.
Weekend in Noumea, perfect position and good services.
Great hotel with a staff really attentive to the customer. To recommend
The spa and massage were really pleasant with a beautiful view of the sea
Upgraded!
it was awesome
Clean, welcoming, good products, well planted garden. Nice place.
Amazing location, surrounded by beauty every which way. Staff absolutely wonderful, OR BEST EVER HOLIDAY outside New Zealand. THANK YOU.
A pleasant surprise when I stayed at the resort during July (Aussie s winter) - not too crowded and the weather is perfect (like spring weather). The views from the resort is amazing. The walk to to the nearby shops is also very pleasant. But best is to just chill at the resort by the pool. Oh, the seafood buffet as well. Love love love!
One of the best places for a brunch, buffet lunch or evening. We have a wide selection of products, the staff is really welcoming and attentive to the customers. The setting is beautiful day and night. At the hygienic level, it is 5/5
This hotel is tired and severely understaffed. The food on the premise is dire.... At the beach front restaurant there are few choices and you ll wait ages to be served. By the pool, food service is prohibited which is apparently a local law. I understand the hotel can t control this but it affected our experience. The buffet breakfast was bleak... not much choice and poor quality as well as over crowded. The only reason I m giving the hotel 3 stars is because the rooms are nice, albeit a bit dated, but we enjoyed our Seaview room with balcony. From what I can tell, this is the nicest option on the whole island. New Caledonia s tourism industry needs a major facelift. We re in no hurry to return.
Well maintained grounds with beautiful landscaping and helpful staff. The layout was good with everything nearby.
We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The usual omelet station also had fresh pancakes. Great bead and muffin selection.
Also the seafood buffet served on Thursday-saturday nights. The feature is the mangrove (mud) crabs. Also lots of fresh oysters, prawns, muscles and escargot. Also salmon, raw tuna and beef carpaccio.
There were seafood salads, regular salads, cheeses, meats and more for entrees. Plus a selection of breads.
Roast pork and marlin were served.
Great desserts too, if you have room.
Pool restaurant was very good for lunch with salads and burgers.
The room was recently renovated with a very contemporary look. It was comfortable too. We had a suite with a kitchen, 2 TVs, large bathroom and a dressing area.
The house wi-fi worked very well too.
We enjoyed our stay.
From 6 to 23 of october 2018 our club propose a price of 82 the night for 2 people contact us on our youtube channel
It has just been refurbished. Well located near the beach, casino, restaurant, ect ... Pool, bar. Nice rooms.
Beautiful place at the end of the bay - I got a room with sea view as an upgrade and was able to stay at the pool or on the premises until the evening - a very pleasant way to wait for the departure!
A large hotel with a beautiful sunset and sunrise, a delicious food room, and a variety of recreational facilities for family-style resorts.
Amazing stay! Free room upgrade over looking the world's second largest lagoon!!
It was a very beautiful hotel. The welcome drink was also delicious.
If I just say strictly, I thought that the level of breakfast is not a five-star class.
A hotel I went on a honeymoon trip-at the time it was Club Med
The climate on the island is very cosy and tropical. The hotel is maximum 4 star but we lived in a double suite room which was quite spacious and colourful. The beach bar is very dirty, the food selection is poor, and the service is very slow. You can only call the reception from the room (no housekeeping or restaurant booking) we tried to get room-service but we has been told they are very busy....several days in a row.:( Daily housekeeping is not complementary, you have to make several calls during the day or chase a cleaning lady to get one. They fill up the mini bar but not with everything, Nescafe or tea or water ....you never know what you get. We booked a table at the Japanese restaurant but obviously the reception made a mistake so we had no table which was fine since the place is very depressive, looks like a corner pub of the worst kind. Luckily there are many nice places with good food outside of the hotel, just a few hundred meter away in down town, so went there both for lunch and for dinner. Another strange thing was the pool which was fenced and the only way in was through a shower!!!! If somebody was taking a shower there was no way in or out!!! I have never in my entire life have seen so bad management!!! I would t even give them 1 star!!! Please send them to a corse of hospitality and hotel management. It is petty because the rooms are nice and the garden is beautiful. Sorry but my average is therefore so low.
It's not a 5 stars hotel, it's a joke! The beaches around are amazing, but the hotel, food and staff are really poor!
We had a room with balcony, bay view and breakfast included. Everything was immaculate if only for the price we were surprised to discover that the swimming pool is quite hectic public on weekends and unfortunately the area is not non-smoking.
The most classy hotet is the best kept in noumea .. the seafood buffet etc. is by far the best in Noumea and therefore NC. The casino has the entrance to finish the evening .. and hop a great evening in perspective ...
Good!
I had a memorable trip with my family !! Moth
Hotel, everyone kindness!
It is a brand without a doubt!
I was injured my head and Bloody as fell down in the bathroom !
The reason is that the bathroom is so slippery.
It is very very dangerous. Be careful !!!!!!!!!!

The rooms and service at Le Meridien are lovely, 5 Stars for the rooms and service. The pool is nice albeit a couple of degrees too cold with the wind chill factor and the locals coming to use the pool facilities from outside the resort (They can enter via the beach).
But then there's the restaurants and bars... First night there we stopped for a snack in the Bar - a Croque monsieur? Yes I ordered that but out came a $15 Jaffle - I'm quoting all $ in AUD btw. A jaffle like you used to get at the public school tuckshop made by volunteer mums in the 80s with a thin piece of ham and a slice of kraft cheese in the middle, cut into two triangles by the tiffany jaffle maker.
And then there's 'Le Fare' out facing the water, the beachfront cafe (read: BBQ Grill) and bar that closes just before sunset. So if you didn't get your $27 club sandwich that's all soggy on the bottom made with tip top bread (like the jaffle), pretty average fish and chips, or watered down pina colada well before sunset - you'll be enjoying that view parched and hungry.
Le Meridien does redeem itself somewhat with the sushi restaurant (aging cafe, it's like they renovated the entire hotel and left this place in the 80s) - it's acceptable despite the ~$120 price tag for lunch.
All is not lost however - it's a couple of minutes walk next door to the Royal Chateau where the dinner and cocktails are great, 10 mins walk to Le Roof (excellent), or 20 mins walk to Anse Vata where there's a bunch of great restaurants.
I'll note that we did not dine at Le Sextant or La Hippocampe based on other's reviews and passing off a jaffle as a croque monsieur.
Le Meridien is a lovely place to stay and the staff and especially the manager and concierge(s) were wonderful and helpful (Thank you everyone) but they need to show the head chef the door - and quickly, this is the most expensive hotel and the food (with the exception of Sushi) was the worst we had on the island - including the time I was hungover and bought a slice of hot pizza from Carrefour supermarket, even that was better! 1 Star for the food, 5 stars for the rest of the hotel.
Guys let me know if you have fired your head chef since my visit. If not, I know lots of amazing ones that'll come work for you :)
Comfortable room, welcoming staff. I tested the dinner in room service, the food was very good but the price a little too high compared to the local restaurants (I think the same can be said of most hotels). Overall satisfied I will come back without worries.
Great Hotel with Nice rooms, a great location and fantastic amenities.
Nearly perfect but just a little short with the room hot drink and towel restocking.
Always nice would love to manage hotel like thus as could do so much. Pool bar shuts at 5pm when all guest r arriving from day outing. Latitude bar need to move around guests offering drinks and food.
Nice hotel, beautiful otdoor swimmingpool, clise beach.
Missing some sort if entertainment, restaurant near beach is closed after 6 pm, no cultural performsnce for guests.
Spa and gym are available.
Friendly staff, very posh and clean rooms
The restaurants are expensive but good quality food. It is a good holiday destination for nice and relaxing. I definitely recommend this place!
Great service and the consierge was amazing when I needed help with sunglasses I forgot on a day trip. Would definitely recommend.
Of course we do not have the services of the hotel during confinement, however the room is spacious and very comfortable and the staff attentive and benevolent. The site is superb with a garden which is a small summary of New Caledonia. Very nice swimming pool and direct access to the beach of Anse Vata. Thank you for this exceptional welcome.
Stunning room! Needs more staff on the reception desk.
Outstanding! Highly recommend staying. The room is fantastic, the view is stunning and the service is second to none
This resort was astonishing. I had a relaxed holiday and enjoyed every aspect of it. The resort was wonderful, staff were friendly, view was gorgeous, and the location was so close to many beaches and shops!!
An absolutely lovely place to stay, very friendly staff, arrange to have your breakfast included, it's amazingly good value and will definitely kick start your day, good choice of restaurants within the complex but only a short walk away to other restaurants
After a journey of 4 weeks we enjoyed the 10 days spent in this beautiful hotel where everything is done for relaxation and well-being. the restoration is quality, the friendliness of the entire staff is remarkable. We especially thank managers for their professionalism, advice and answers adapted to our requests.
A great place to stay. Very friendly, helpful staff. Very comfortable rooms.
The fish buffet was overrated. We paid too much for the quality of the food.
The meridien is good...but for the price it should have a much better staff...it really looks like the brand apple...even if they do nothing...we will still have to pay the big price because the name is meridien...compare to the one in the ile des pins...this one is not the best one...you should try to go the the hilton wich is way better for the service and the price...
