Waiting for our appetizers to have the water, the appetizer, the bread and a sweet butter (uninteresting) that we are served at the same time as our sofas that we had obviously not yet finished, lack of professional and attention . Too eager to finish this service for my taste .. Explanations of dishes? Fortunately we are in the restaurant to know a little what we had in the plate, a service that does not really want to linger on it. We end up in beauty with sweets that I did not even want to taste, a nice server we "dropped" on the table saying "here are your sweets" and left as early without any explanation. We were not entitled to the same delicacies as the tables around, shame .. it did not go unnoticed. Maybe we did not come on the right day but in any case it absolutely did not leave us wanting to come back.
It is always with great pleasure that we return to Buerehiesel. Efficient and friendly staff, neat Deco, exceptional setting and a great Chef (Eric Westermann) behind the stove!

Very nice address. The smoked eel at the entrance is a delight, in main course I let myself be tempted by a duck breast with port, cooking simply fabulous, slightly pink and melting to perfection! For dessert a surprising fondant with raspberry. The sommelier was very good advice to propose the wines by the glass which were accompanied with wonder with all these dishes. Beautiful room with a beautiful glass roof. For the less the entrance to the restaurant is a little outdated and as we were in the early autumn there were a lot of leaves and seeds fell from the trees, the flower boxes at the entrance did not have the look very well maintained. At the arrival of the various dishes, a very quick and succinct explanation, I allow myself to compare the Old Convent in Rhinau where waitresses quickly explain each plant and accompaniment! Prices are in the range of a 1-star restaurant

We really enjoyed the tasting menu at 104 . The frogs' legs are certainly the best you can find. The service was attentive and pleasant. An excellent memory.
We also tasted the business menu offered at midday which proved to be excellent with very good advice for the choice of wines.
Much less exciting than a few years ago. One does not travel anymore in the tasting of subtle dishes. Nevertheless we spend a good time anyway and we feel a search that still needs to mature.

Better than expected! Located in orangerie park this starred restaurant serves the international community working for diplomatic missions, the Council of Europe and the Parliament. Even though it's quite popular, the level of dining here didn't suffer. Chef creations are extraordinary and bring about new feelings, new experience. This is not only food, this is discovering you can feel things you never knew you can! Business lunch menu served through the weekdays ranges around 35-39 euros per person. Worth every penny of it!

Incredibly overrated. Service provided to our group last night was amateurish and slow. Never even poured water during the meal. Wine pairing for 4 courses should be 4 wines. Only two served, and those were low cost. Courses served lukewarm. How disappointing. Plaques on the wall signed by Macchioni and Jean-Georges should be taken down. This place does not deserve it.

Having lunch at Buerehiesel has been a dream for a long time, so I chose the discovery formula so that the range of flavors is as wide as possible. We were satisfied beyond our expectations. Unable to find the right words to describe such a firework of flavors, I prefer to post a few photos, at the risk of causing readers an irrepressible desire to sit under the magnificent glass roof for a timeless moment. We were fortunate to be able to greet and congratulate Chef Westerman for this memorable lunch.
The decoration and ambiance of this restaurant are outstanding. The food is not fancy but excellent comparable to Paris and San Sebastian. We love the scallops and frog legs. The service is not as poor as other reviewers have noted. We were there on a Sunday evening, three nights before Christmas, and the restaurant was full. I will recommend to visitors to Strasbourg.
In the heart of the Orangery Park in Strasbourg, this old farm offers a menu of great gastronomy and fine wines in a beautiful rural setting in town! The welcome is warm! Access to the upstairs restaurant is easy for people with reduced mobility as it is equipped with a lift.
