Our second visit to this drive thru zoo. Love the up close interaction with the animals. My son loves giraffe's and he was able to feed one from his hand. Definitely worth visiting if you are in the area. Lots of fun for the whole family.

A large drive through petting zoo type thing that you can feed from your car or their wagon. You will see animals of all types from around the world. Dig the giraffes and gazelle type critters.

Wouldn't bring your car (leave in their parking lot) unless it is old and beat up as the animals are very social and will come up to your vehicle like you are their mother. They like the handouts and will even poke their heads in your vehicle or stand their legs on it. Horns may scratch your vehicle inadvertently. They slobber. They are animals. So spend the extra $5 and get the wagon ride. Really.

This is a good experience for kids and adults and the whole ordeal really gets you up close and personal with the wildlife.

Two things that stick out that could improve:
1)Cash only. Inconvenient. Would rather pay a small percentage more for this convenience
2)Seems crowded and at spots the grounds need some upkeep.

It's cool and a great relatively cheap outing.

3 senior citizens in a convertible and we went through with the top down. What a blast. We didn't think it was pricey at all. In fact for as long as we were there it was a cheap entertaining day. The park are looked great for the animals there. And the animals were well fed. We plan on making it a part of our fall tradition.

Wait time today was ridiculous we arrived at 2 didnt enter gate til after 3 then another 1 hour waiting on traffic to move up then the book stated over 750 different types of animals and it wasnt no where near that many that we seen. There are no BATHROOMS once u get on the TRAIL or no concession stands it was bumper to bumper traffic today and not as many animals as they stated....I would not recommend going at all or at least when it's not packed

Review for Egg Extravaganza, This was a terrible experience from waiting in the car 1 1/2 hours in the car for entrance to park, to getting to the egg drop at 12:30, had to wait until 2:00 for the next egg drop. We have a 5 year old and 2 year old, eggs were dropped at 2:00 and many of the 0-3 yr olds did not get one egg! Not one egg for either child, plus many children around us did not get one egg! One long line for food, but we didn t have anything else to do for 1 1/2 hours, waiting for the egg drop. After the disppointment of the egg drop, empty basket and longest walk to parking lot, we are now stopped in the animal drive through, no cars are moving. Are you kidding me??!! We have 2 little children sitting waiting again! We will never, ever come back here, one disappointment after another! We will try to ask for a full refund, but can t wait to get out of here! Try to explain to the 5 year old why he didn t get one egg! I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Have been twice. Absolutely loved it each time. Many different animals. The staff would come and clear the road ways if animals blocked it for too long. Very unique experience. Please have gas and use restroom before coming. No gas stations near and trail is lengthy. Animals were all through out the trail from the very beginning before even entering. Loved the fact we could social distance and still have such a great experience. Would highly recommend.

Have you ever wanted a water buffalo to stick its head in your car and drool all over your arm? Have you ever wanted to make steely eye contact with an emu and feel a chill in your heart that you have met a real life dinosaur? It's all here and so much more. I can't remember laughing this hard and it's a great deal. Watch out for the antelope when you first start the ride. They WILL steal your bucket. You WILL be out $3 worth of feed in the first 70 seconds of your adventure.

Loved it! My daughter and I had a great time on her field trip here. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was so hot and there were no water fountains. You could buy a bottle of water for $1.00! As a parent I didn't even think that there wouldn't be any water fountains or to send money for water.

If you like being up close b and personal with animals, hayrides, potbelly pigs and don't mind a giant tongue, this is a place for you. Please enjoy our zoo in Asheboro, too, but there's here there is be a different setting to see the animals. Many are free range, some are in pens or exhibits, but you can drive thru or take a hayride and feed a variety of sheep, goats, pigs, emu, oh, and the Scottish Highlander. Yes. Picnic areas that can be reserved for birthday parties. We've been several times, went thru twice in one day. Take the kids, bring a picnic lunch, the camera and some hand sanitizer. Make a day of it.

This place was great. 2 adults five teenagers 14-17. We all loved it. We took the wagon ride from reading the previous reviews about the animals jumping up on vehicles. Which we saw they do, when we were on wagonride and other cars out there. BUT there are signs informing you of that before you enter and at the ticket booth to purchase tickets. All of us we go back again. Was a lot of fun

Great place, only had time to do the petting zoo because the line gets so backed up with people stopping at the front entrance when you first drive to where the animals are. They really need employees standing around directing traffic and moving people along! I will come back when I have more time, but .... ;(

Great time! Interactive the whole way through. Made it through in about 2hrs, arrived around 9:30am on a Saturday when everything is busy from Covid closures, both lanes were completely full when we were towards the end.

They have lots of disclaimers as to damage and injury... but no warning that the animals WILL JUMP AND DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE. not one sign on the way in mentions that the animals kick and scratch and peck through the entire "park".

Toddler loved it, get at least 2 buckets of feed and hold onto one, you'll be done before you know it. For the owners, I very a second stand to get feed somehow halfway in would bring in a bunch more revenue for you

We had two cars, full of people of all ages from a baby, teens, young and old adults. We all loved it! Just be careful when you open your windows. Some of the animals will put their whole head inside the car to get to that food bucket! We will definitely go back.

An incredible place to bring kids who love animals and nature or to expose them to animals in nature. You can feed animals from your car. I recommend a vehicle where all the windows can roll down (so not most minivans) or a truck with a bed where you can sit/stand in the back and have the animals come right up to you (see pics). I loved it. My kids loved it and we all want to come back again. It is a little pricey and they ONLY accept cash so make sure you've stopped by the ATM first.

Awesome experience for the whole family. Make sure to take a wagon ride to go through the ranch. The animals are used to jumping up on the wagons to be fed and they will do the same to your car and trash it. I only gave it 4 stars because this is a cash or local check only facility which is kinda crazy since it's 2016. There is an ice cream snack stand, but that is it for food. We usually pack a pic nic lunch. I always bring a back pack with water and hand sanitizer. Wear clothes you can get dirty in and expect to get slobbered on. You get to feed so many cool animals, but the side effect if slobber. Hence the sanitizer. Enjoy.

Went here on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend 2020. Way too many people. The ranch is a parking lot. We have been in stopped traffic for 3.5 hours and we are not even close to being done. This place is literally a parking lot.
