Chris was awesome! He was knowledgeable about the vehicles we discussed and showed me the different features each one had to offer. The fact that he was so personable made it incredibly easy for me to relax and and be able to talk to him comfortably. That quality alone personally accelerated my experience to one that I rate well above 10.

Lawrence of Kia continues to impress me........

I bought a used 2016 Nissan Qwest September 2017 from Lawrence of Kia. I had multiple lights come up on my dash and my key fab didn't want to work properly. I went to Stateline Nissan and Discount tires, to try and diagnose these problems as Lawrence of Kia was way out of my way. No one could resolve the problems unless I paid. I called Lawrence of Kia and was frustrated as I wanted my van to work properly. They came and got my van, as I just couldn't make it out there, and it was just a simple fuse that needed to be replaced. Thanks Tim Woods for going above and beyond, and I am glad to know I have a dealership that will always have my back!!!

This is the 2nd car I ve purchased at Lawrence Kia. Kelly Engler and I hit it off right away. The sales team did everything they could to make this purchase as confident, easy and helpful as possible. I definitely recommend Lawrence Kia to those in the market for a new or used car.

I bought a KIA Soul several months ago.
I LOVE IT. When I arrived for an oil change that day, I met with a Gentleman named Chris. In the sales department. He asked me what kind of car I was looking for. But , I told him I had NO idea. We spoke about what features I was interested in. I told him I wanted a car that I could get into without having to pull myself into the car. I am 62 and needed a car that was like my Sorento but not as high. Also I didn't like the 3rd roll seat. He had several suggestions but I kept saying no. Then he asked about the KIA Soul. I said it's too small. He asked if I had driven one. Again I said no, it's to small. He suggested we just look at one. So I said ok. But when I got into the car it was Perfect. So we went to look at other Souls. I tell you I saw mine on the lot, and said that one. I love my KIA Soul. Chris is amazing at knowing what the customer wants, especially when I didn't. Thanks so much Chris, you rock.

Hands down, the best car buying experience ever. Saleman, Nick is pleasant, knowledgeable and worked hard to find me a great car, within my budget. Sara, with Allstate saved me money on my car & motorcycle Ins; also got my boyfriend a better deal. Had to wait a while to get into the finance office, but it was worth the wait. Any additional questions we had, Brandon was able to answer or have staff call me next business day. I love my 2015 Kia Optima.

Marty and the others at Lawrence Kia were great to work with. Marty was respectful of our budget constraints and only showed us the cars we wanted to see, which we really appreciated. Both cars we test drived were in great condition, like new. We are really happy with what we picked. We came in preapproved through one finance company and they actually helped us get a lower rate through a credit union which we didn't think we would qualify for. We are very happy with our car and definitely recommend this dealer.

Lawrence Kia is a joke. They get you into the door...

Lawrence Kia is a joke. They get you into the door with guaranteed credit approval and the lifetime warranty but this dealership is awful in terms of customer service and convenience. We went in on 2/06 to look at a car, Nick was the salesmen we dealt with and he initially said that we were approved for a 2019 Kia Soul Base. After expressing discontent with the Base model, Nick came back and said we got approved for a Plus with higher payments. That was fine with us so we sent in the paperwork for financing. That same night, I asked Nick if everything was approved and he said yes, it was all good to go. Okay, awesome. So we make an appointment to pick up the car and submit address verification stuff on the next day 2/07. On that day, we were told that everything was good but that the financing center was closed for the day so we had to come in the next day to finalize everything. They allowed us to take the car with dealership plates under the pretense that the plates would get switched to a 60 day tag the next day. That same day they informed us again that all financing had been approved, the lending company is just looking over things. They also let us know that on 2/08, it would only take about 15 minutes to get everything done. We leave and come back the next day on 2/08, we were sitting there for an hour and a half, keep in mind that we were told this would only take about 15 minutes. After we had been there about an hour, we were informed that the lending company needs a full printout of our banking account statement. We had only submitted the first sheet because we were talk that it's only for residency verification and that it only needed our name and address on it. So we tried to print it out there but our bank account was not letting us log in. We had to drive all the way home, email Nick the statement and then come back again the next day to finally get the 60 day tag. Nick was supposed to let me know on 2/08 when everything got finalized, keep in mind he has already informed us everything was approved. I called 5 times over the course of the day. We had submitted that paper at noon and by 5pm still hadn't heard anything. They closed at 6pm. Around 7pm Nick texted us and said that he hadn't heard anything and that he would have an answer by Monday at 11am. This process should not be taking this long so we decided to just return the car and get our down payment back, which we had already paid. We go in today on 2/09 to take care of that, and when we told them we no longer wanted to do business, THEN they informed us that the lending company had an issue with the verification forms. We got our down payment back after much back and forth and needless explanation as to why we are not going through with the sale, them even going so far as to accuse us of being worried that our financing would not be approved. We live 45 minutes away and more than doubled the mileage on that car just by driving to and from that dealership. They have little respect for your time. They only care about getting your money. Don't waste your time with this dealership. It sounds like they have good deals, but the salesmen are only there for commission, they're pushy and won't take no for an answer. And will only give you a straight answer when you threaten to go elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and look for cars ANYWHERE but here first.

Came in to see if we could get a deal. It wasn't anything special planned. I already had a car I loved. However, Braden Erickson went above and beyond and actually we left with a brand new vehicle. It was a great experience and I would recommend anyone to come here for fast friendly service. I will continue to buy from only this dealership for there customer service!

Our salesperson, Ken, was very thorough in trying to understanding our situation and therefore was able to make a deal that fit our needs. Everyone involved made everything as simple and fast as possible. All promises were followed through on a couple inspection items, even provided a loaner to use over the time to do the work. Ken also discovered I had left my sunglasses in the store and he made the time after work to deliver them to my office in Lenexa. Thanks Ken for everything, and really appreciate you going out of your way to ensure satisfaction.

I have never had such great service from a dealer. Ron Zahorik was all about finding me exactly what I wanted and base ever possible arrangement and effort to get me the car. Was not pushy and didn't give up on finding the best deal and making it work in a way that was acceptable for all parties! Completely recommend this place and Ron for anyone looking to buy a new or used car!! Fabulous experience!! Thank you Ron.

Such a pleasant car-buying experience. Erika was very patient helping us understand all the details, never tried to push or sway our decision, went out of her way to make us comfortable, stayed late, and was even accommodating when we had to bring in our crazy kids. We LOVE our new Sedona and they worked with us to get a decent price for our trade-in. Drove 3 hours to get the car we wanted and it was definitely worth it!

Nice to have the Allstate agent on hand to run quick quotes and see if she could get you better quotes. She might even save me money on home owners policy. Financing part was very quick and painless. I went to this dealership looking for a specific car that was on the lot. I spent over 2 hours there getting no where. They tried to get me to lease a new vehicle, that's not what I went there for. I never did get to see our test drive the vehicle I wanted. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone! Total waste of time and money, I live 2 hours away.

I was not greeted when I walked through the door. They run your credit before they let you test drive. After being there hours just for their "lender appointment" the salesmen leaving to get gas in the middle of assisting me, getting 3 different forms of proof if income, my utility bills, etc. Because I gave a non running vehicle back 2 years ago, they approved me for a 1996 cougar with 2300 down, and monthly pmts. And wanted me to trade my running 2000 lincoln navigator for it and make payments. They are a huge waste of time. They say they work with everyone but they do not. GO TO AUTO EXCHANGE For the same amount of money down, I was approved for a 2011 buick enclave with a full warranty, and they have way nicer vehicles with a wide variety to choose from.

We knew the car we wanted for over a year, so we were actually shopping for a car dealer. We drove 3 hours from Joplin, Mo to buy this car. Yes we had a Kia dealer in my town, but Lawrence Kia was the dealer we were looking for, we are very happy with the 2018 Kia Niro Touring. Every bell and whistle you could ask for. Dakota and Ken were great and we mostly like shop at Kia Lawrence again.

What a place to buy a car!!
To start with their no pressure sales staff is very knowledgeable about their products and oh by the way if They don t have the car you want on the lot they have another car lot they will gladly bring in whatever you want to look at (and they done that) for me. Everyone is so helpful to answer all your questions and they give you lotta different options on your warrenty over and above their lifetime drivetrain warranty if you so choose.
But that is just one side of the coin, you can buy whatever car fits your lifestyle but it does not matter what s on the hood the real difference is having a high-quality shop and service department that would take care of you and your purchase. And I will tell you from experience their service department is the best I have ever seen.

Buyer beware. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with.

Bought a new Soul from these guys and after not one, but two horrible experiences with their piss-poor customer service we decided to cancel our extended warranty and sever ties with them altogether.

After 11 calls to their finance manager, as well as the manager of the dealership, they just couldn't seem to figure out how to email me the forms to cancel the warranty. I feel they were intentionally trying to wear me down so they could pocket the money from the warranty.

Fed up with their evasiveness and dishonesty, our lawyer called Kia Corporate and Lawrence Kia got busted for their shady behavior.

Lucky for me, I have a lawyer that will handle these thieves. If you don't have a lawyer as good as mine, you probably won't have the same outcome. And if you think they will just let go of the $2,000 warranty at your request, you are very wrong.

Best of luck to ya, and consider yourself warned from one customer to another. These guys aren't on your side and they certainly aren't ANY different from the stereotypical "stealerships."

My appointment was at 2:15 and I got here a little early, and they were able to see us almost immediately. Everybody we encountered was very friendly and professional. The experience at Lawrence Kia was second to none. Had the pleasure of working with sales consultant Nick Williams at the Lawrence Kia. Nick was hospitable, knowledgeable, and attentive. Nick showed wonderful expertise as he was able to answer all my questions. Nick advocated to help me find the best vehicle in my price range. If you go visit Lawrence Kia, locate Nick Williams and he will take great care of you. The lifetime engine, transmission, and drivetrain warranty on new vehicles and pre-owned vehicles (2014 and newer under 80,000 miles) is also a huge plus about working with Lawrence Kia.

I highly recommend the Lawrence Kia dealership for two reasons: first, value for the money; and second, the Lawrence Kia people are wonderful. Consumer Reports 2020 gave an overall higher score to the Kia Soul compared to the Toyota Rav4 and the Honda CR-V. The dealership owners' have built an awesome team that is diverse, friendly, and competent. I really enjoyed talking with my salesperson, Chris Winans. He kindly let me drive the LX and the Turbo and he taught me about the trim versions. Chin, the co-owner, helped me get what I was looking for and he was generous. [I appreciated the excellent insurance rates from the Allstate agent Sara Hurtado who is located in the dealership.] Nick in finance was efficient and personable. My new Kia Soul had a rattle in the back so I left it with the Service Advisor Darin Denning. Chris let me drive a new Kia Soul during the service. Darin found a seat belt bolt that had been cross-threaded so he re-tapped it and solved the problem. He let me see the evidence by showing the bolt. I thoroughly enjoyed my interactions with the people at Lawrence Kia. I believe that Lawrence Kia has built a culture of cooperation that is top-rate.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND LAWRENCE KIA! We had the most horrible experience ever! I was interested in the 2019 Kia stinger. I called and talked with their online sales department about a ceramic silver Kia stinger with red leather inside and they told me it was available and I could come in! Never once was I offered to fill out a credit application online before I came in! I was told that they have a guaranteed credit approval program and all you have to do is make $1500 a month and you are approved! Just bring in your paychecks stubs and drivers license and that s all you need. I drove all the way from Raymore, MO to Lawrence,KS to purchase this vehicle. Upon arrival I requested the online sales agent I spoke with over the phone, Amanda. She came out and requested that I deal with car sales agent Nick! A few days prior to speaking with Amanda I called Nick and he told me he was in a area with bad reception and he would call me back. Never received a call back! Anyway we sit down with Nick I explain to him I am interested in the 2019 Kia stinger ceramic silver with the red leather and that the have two online that I called and Amanda told me they were available. Model LK199 and LK195 and he says ok. We proceed to fill out a application and provide proof of income, copies of drivers license, etc. our appointment was at 9am and we did not leave the dealership until 4:00. They kept going back and negotiating about the amount I could and could not get approved for about 8 hours. They then told me well we can put you in a Kia Rio, Kia Forte, or a Kia Optima. I explained over and over again I am not settling for less and that is not what I came here for. So Nick then explains to not give up on him and he will keep trying! We then proceed to say well while we are waiting can we test drive a vehicle. Nick declines saying they don t like for you to test drive a vehicle until you get approved. So we sit there making conversation for another 2 or 3 hours just waiting! After almost 7 hours they finally come with an approval for the 2018 Kia stinger that was a charcoal grey that DID NOT have the red inside. So then nick shows us a 2018 Kia stinger that s red with a black inside. I continuously tell him I do not like the red and he pulls it out front for us to test drive anyway. I refuse to test drive the vehicle. We go back inside and I ask is there a 2018 at another dealership I can purchase and he states no there is not another one close in the area. He then proceeds to show me a ceramic grey that already has a sold sign in it and the other one they say that s available online is not there either. They can t find it on the lot. Remind you before we got there I did not feel out a application so I didn t not come prepared with any down payment money. Upon the approval I was pressured in a color that I did not want without the red interior. I was told my approval was only good for right there right now and if I did not put money down right then my approval would be no longer acceptable. I was then told I can put a $250 down payment down and sign the papers so when I come back with the rest of my down payment money I can drive off. So we agree to do that. Days past and I just don t feel comfortable about the whole purchase and being pressured into something I do not want. I just don t understand how these vehicles show available online but they are not there on the Kia dealership parking lot. So after a few days past by I called back to the dealership 3 different times acting like a different person to see if these vehicles were available and they kept telling me yes. I proceed to tell the operator well when I came into the dealership they told me they were not available. After all this going back and fourth we finally speak with a sales manager and he tells me another manager is driving the other Kia stinger and that s why it s not able to be purchase instead of people lieing and saying it was available we finally found out the truth. So I ended up requesting my $250 deposit back! I purchased from another Kia Dealership in Florida!
