They have moved the call center to India and do not return phone calls. They have no techs available to speak of. This is literally the worst point of sales system I have ever operated. they are a disgrace the the profession and albuquerque as a whole.

Since there is no option to leave a review, I ll do it here. We opened a coffee shop in February before COVID hit. Lavu was our POS of choice because there were two other restaurants in town using their software and they have an office in Albuquerque which is a short drive. Our thoughts were that we would have access to tech support as a result. We were gravely wrong.

Lavu has left us in the cold with half functionality. The system freezes every hour or so and goes down for 5-10 mins at a time. We re lucky if it restarts at all. Lavu has had ZERO answers. We also have a pending order sync count of over 2000 orders. Lavu cannot solve it remotely and God forbid they make the short drive to resolve such an egregious issue in person. TWO THOUSAND PLUS ORDERS. Let that sink in. We have not had access to proper reports from the beginning. We have made our issues known from day one. Their responsiveness is nonexistent.

We have finally made a switch to Square and have had no issues. However, our 2000+ orders are STILL in limbo.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! BUYER BEWARE!

Worst company ever! McDonalds would treat you better then this horribly run company. They expect you to know everything after just a few days but don t train you properly because no one is around, due to the training staff fooling around with each other, and management is too stupid to realize or care.

One of the best companies I have had the honor to be apart of. The LAVU floor is the place to be. For new ideas and inovation. This team will be making moves on the Tech end of the restaurant business. Keep a look out.

Haven t had any problems with the Lavu POS as of this time (about a year and a half in). It s smooth, functional and incredibly responsive. A much needed upgrade over the last POS we were using in our restaurant. Highly recommended.

Horrible working environment. They rush you through a 1 week training course, and then you better get a bunch of sales within that first month or you are fired. There wasn't even an employee in Human Resources when they decided to let me go. Horrendous working culture, management has no leadership skills. Not sure about the post saying this is a great industry to work in, I highly doubt that with restaurants struggling in 2020. I feel sorry for the people who still have to work for this shady company.

After starting in Albuquerque, New Mexico and petitioning our mayor for an endorsement, they refused to pay their rent and left the country. In this they stopped ALL customer support along with any physical support they had offered before.
The few times you get through on their generic call center you end up on hold for hours+ with the only resolve being that somehow it's your fault their software doesn't work.

Their updates are years behind that of any other POS (as to why they lose so much business,) with zero online interaction from your POS and little to no knowledge on their system, using this POS makes you want to pull your hair out.

If you're in the market, BUYER BEWARE.

Stay away...they take advantage of the whole "at will employment" to fire you in an instant! They literally have you pestering business owners 4 to 5 times a day, according to them the owner might be in a "better mood" or maybe they had a bad day and that's why they say no to Lavu.. Office is beautiful and in a great location, I believe that brings people in a lot. Beware of HR and confidentially... Rumors and info go around quick since the HR person is close to the executive assistant, just stay away both business owners and people looking for employment.. 15+ hourly is NOT WORTH IT. Also, most good reviews are posted by Lavu employees don't be fooled.
