We visited Latitude 42 for my birthday with a couple of friends and it was all our first time. The atmosphere and the food was great but our service wasn t the best. It almost felt like she didn t want to deal with us and would much rather wait on her other tables. Drinks weren t refilled, no dessert was offered sauces were forgotten. It made the experience less then great.

Worst place to work ever the president of the company called me a retard and they haven't paid me ever since the new location open I also have government benefits and they had to tell the whole kitchen about it and my criminal record since I had a knife to cut down boxes they said I'm armed and going to rob people

Look at this incredible sandwich! It's called the Diablo - nice, spicy chicken. Also liked the sodas. The beer menu looked great but this was a business lunch. Get there at 11:30 to avoid a long wait...

Amazing staff, great beer, and some of the best good in town. Can't wait for the new location! Definitely try the prime rib sandwich, it's the best sandwich you'll ever have! 10 out of 10.

My friend Kathy R. and I both have October birthdays so we celebrated our birthdays Saturday night at Latitude 42. We had a wonderful meal. The food was great and our service was the best. Thank you Rheila G. For such good service!!!

I will let you judge the atmosphere, staff and beer. I work for a major food distributor and make regular deliveries here. I get to see the areas that the public doesn't. I can tell you that the kitchen is kept very clean and organized! Lat 42 orders high quality and fresh foods. This is one of the places I feel good about bringing people I care about to eat.
Enjoy, Kyle R.

Great food and beer. Had locally raised Otto fried chicken with mac and cheese with veges. Sooo good! The two beers I tried were solid with no off flavors. Service was attentive and friendly too. Will definitely be back!

A colleague of mine said they had been here before and it was great. It was between this and another local brewery, and since they recommended it, the bunch of us agreed to go. Latitude 42 did not disappoint. When you think about a brewery/restaurant, you think of bar food and quick bites. But that s not what s going on here. The beers, speak for themselves, as you ll note the awards adorning the walls around the bar.

The food at Latitude 42, on its own merits should have awards adorning the walls. We ordered wings for a table app, pizza, and tacos. The wings tasted just as if you were at home and grilled them on your own grill. Perfectly flavored and plenty juicy. The pizza, a maui waui (yes, I know, some of you will think of pineapple on pizza as a sin) was outstanding. I m a native New Yorker, and I approve (BTW, my favorite slice is L&Bs square slice; look it up, or better yet visit when your one town). The tacos also didn t disappoint, in fact, it was tempting to order a second round.

Bottom line: Latitude 42 is not your typical BrewCo. They go above and beyond in making it a beer and food lovers paradise. If you re looking for somewhere to go, do not pass up the opportunity. I ll be back here next time I m in town, that s for sure.

This brewing co is outstanding! The food is all local and created with integrity. All the drinks as either house made or local, even michigan wines!
There are so many good options on the menu, and suit everyone s dietary needs.
Don t forget the local, organic prime burger meat, chicken and salmon!
I will be returning soon! It s a MUST stop.

Delicious 8"goat cheese and shrimp pizza. Good friendly service, accommodating for special needs senior, even put a candle in our ice cream for a birthday celebration. Well mannered staff even held the door for us!

A very clean place. We sat at the bar. When looking at the menu full of good options. The mac n cheese was fantastic. Everything we had was good and good sized proportions for the money.

Lets see. Beer, third rate at best for a brewery they should concentrate on the beer. Instead they tried to concentrate on the food where they failed. The building is really nice as well as the bar and counter tops. If you're in to food or beer don't waste your time there are much better options for both. They did have good service though.

Food is always good, welcoming staff who are professional and am to please. Comfortable relaxed atmosphere 5 "come as you are" attitude make this a great place for a date night or meet up with friends.

We got there late so that could be the reason but service was attentive but not accurate. Asked for mayo got mustard. Fries that were served with burger were stale and old fries, not freshly fried.

Pics were takes on iPhone X portrait mode so food may look better than it actually was or tasted.

Why do you burn a "42" onto your entrees? It tastes awful. My Portage Prime Rib would have been 5 stars if three bites of it hadn't tasted like bread burnt black. This sandwich was better when the beef was somewhat shaved instead of stacks of sliced beef, but it's really a great sandwich either way. Please stop burning your entrees with a "42." Is there an option in the computer to get your entree without the 42 abuse? Please work on it. I really enjoy your establishment.

End of dinner rush on a Saturday /and they told us there was going to be a 50 minute wait for 2. Luckily we were able to grab a seat at the bar and had quick service and good food. Loved the edamame and Scottish salmon on their salads.

The ambiance, decor, drinks, and staff make the experience very enjoyable. The food, however left a little something to be desired and definitely did not match up to the price. After we explained that one of our appetizers wasn t as good as we d hoped the manager was quick to come out and address the concerns and remove the item from the bill. As for our entrees, they were typical for a locally sourced restaurant, a lot of filigree to mask the fact that the food just really isn t that great. Otherwise the experience was very pleasant and I d recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful evening with some friends and drinks!

It started with a 100 minute wait, which was ok as we were prepared because of the new location on West Main. At 110 minutes, we checked back and we're told we were next for a table of 2. After watching another 2 top sat, we finally were sat and were told a manager would stop by our table. We finally were able to order a 12" pizza and being told by the server (Morgan) that a dessert would be on the house, we waited another 30 minutes for our food. We finally stopped our server, who said there were 2 tickets in front of us. We let her know that we needed to leave in 5 minutes, so we were ok leaving the "complimentary dessert". She came back with the bill, then finally the pizza. The manager was out to talk with the table next to us, but did not bother stopping by our table. We have been to the other location and have even booked a private party with Sue at the location in Portage. I would not stop by the location in Oshtemo. I would recommend driving the extra 20 minutes to Portage and dining there with a manager that cares about her patrons.

Don't get the crab Rangoon. Hardly anything for meat inside them, they're basically filled with really runny cream cheese for $11!! I don't recommend the lobster shrimp roll either... It's served cold . Overpriced in my opinion.
Drinks are okay. The waitress Rye wanted to cut my group off after 2 drinks because we were laughing and having a good time. I felt ashamed to order another drink!! We would have stayed and spent more money day drinking had we not been shamed! Will try the other Kalamazoo location next time.

On a better note... Highly recommend the pretzel bites!! L42 ice wine is to die for!

Flies inside - Disgusting

Flies inside - Disgusting
On September 16 my family and I had lunch at the Latitude 42 on Portage Road. There were flies flying around our food and around our heads while we ate INSIDE. There were even flies in the bathroom. When I talked with the manager about it, she did apologize and said there was nothing they can do about it and the fact that they were a brewpub doesn t help.
I think I would ve been more comforted by a response like, "our HVAC system is broken". At least that would ve given me hope that the next time I go into a Latitude 42 I won t have this same experience. Instead I got a much truer picture of the situation, Latitude 42 feels like they are a victim of being a brewpub and having a garbage dumpster that you can smell from the patio anytime there is a west wind (all the time) is here to stay. Very good information... makes the decision whether to come back much easier knowing it won't get better. Thank you for your honesty (or your ignorance). Either way, I'm done.

Loved this place. Stopped by for lunch on our way back home to Chicago. Lots of seating, great menu, lots of great beer.

Had their french dip sandwich--meat was well done and it came with a really tasty spicy horseradish sauce.

Coconut porters was fantastic.

Can't wait to go back!

Staff is great, Beer is also great, the food is fairly priced and they really spend time perfecting a few of the options in my opinion. Location is perfect but parking is a mess. I do not think they have enough spaces for the size of the facility. I spent about 3 min driving up and down the rows waiting for someone to leave so I could park.
After entering there were still plenty of tables to seat people at and I had no wait when I entered. But in all a great place to have some dinner and drinks.
