Lasting Impressions Weddings Review

As a vendor, we worked with Lasting Impressions Weddings and Sarah many times and it is always a treat! Weddings could be stressful with lots of moving parts, but Sarah makes everything go perfectly smooth and coordinates every single detail. We never have to worry about anything when we work with Sarah and we can concentrate on our common goal of serving our couples in the best possible way because Sarah takes care of every detail. In addition, she has an incredible sense of style - the weddings she executes are incredibly stunning with lots of unique little details personalized for each particular couple. We couldn t recommend Sarah and her company enough!

We had a terrible experience working with Sarah to plan our wedding. We hired her as a "month of" wedding planner over a year in advance to our wedding. When Covid hit, we decided to cancel our wedding ~6 months in advance. Given, that it was so far in advance, Sarah had YET to do any work for us except reserve our date and send over a few basic PDFs with recommended vendors that we did not even use as we had already booked everything. Despite pleading with Sarah for a partial refund of the $1200 we gave her she refused to provide us with any refund or even discuss the option of postponing/rescheduling. To make matters worse I am a health care worker working in the ICUs in New York City so it is understandable that I did not want to expose my loved ones to travel and covid at a large event. Instead of working with us to compromise, Sarah expected us to cover her loss during the pandemic while providing us with absolutely zero gain. Every other vendor we have worked with has provided us with at least a partial refund and it is very disappointing that Sarah treated her client this way. Beware and stay away! Awful experience to be dealing with her on top of living a nightmare at the hospital everyday for the past year.

Great Wedding Planner! Highly reccomend to anyone who wants an amazingly smooth wedding day!

Words escape me when I try to describe how grateful I was to have Lasting Impressions at my wedding. I wanted things a bit unconventional, and their team was outstanding in making it come to life and running it flawlessly. Our day was rainy but they really helped everything run smoothly. There were a lot of logistics to manage and my mom said "I'm really glad you hired them." Their team was responsive, organized and proactive during the entire planning process and I was grateful to have them! I highly recommend Sarah and her team!

I don't even know where to begin with Sarah and her team. I can not say enough good things about working with her. I am a very organized person, but didn't know the first thing about wedding planning. This year my husband and I got a puppy, built a house, both started a new jobs, and got engaged. That said, I knew I was desperate for help to plan a wedding as I didn't even know where to begin. I looked forward to absolutely every meeting with Sarah and each time I got to see her or even hear from her via email or phone. She made the stress of wedding planning fun and exciting, and helped my indecisive self make decisions to create our dream wedding day. My husband would like to thank Sarah for "keeping me sane". The whole process went very smooth and that's just the start. The WEDDING DAY! I couldn't believe it. I've been to weddings where the bride is stressed, families do set up and take down, etc. I did not think about anything other than the fact that I got to marry my best friend on the day of our wedding. Sarah and her team took care of absolutely EVERYTHING. If anything went wrong or out of order, I never heard about it or even noticed it. I cannot say enough good things about Lasting Impressions Weddings and I truly miss wedding planning and Sarah's name popping up on my phone each week - if you are thinking about a planner. HIRE HER!!!

Sarah was a dream to work with. I had no idea where to start or how to go about the wedding planning process, but she helped us with every step of the way and kept us on track. Having Lasting Impressions there running the day of the wedding was absolutely AMAZING. Having Sarah and her team there by my side on my wedding day made for a completely stress-free day. She took care of EVERYTHING for us and made sure that my mom and I had nothing to worry about so that we were free to just soak it all in and enjoy.

Sarah Trotter is the absolute best. Not only is she extremely fun and happy to work with, she is extremely talented at what she does! We used Sarah & team for their full-service option and could not be happier we did. She was with us every step of the way -- flower meetings, food tasting, venue check-ins, etc. In addition to constantly emailing us and vendors, checking in to make sure we're feeling okay, giving ideas/brainstorming all the way up to the day of. Day of was a MUST have Sarah. She did everything. My flowers came out a little different than expected and it was fixed within minutes. She handled everything and the day went absolutely perfect (in our minds, which is exactly what you want!) I even forgot to put guest food preferences on the cards -- Sarah took care of it. I bought a sign with our last name on it last minute -- Sarah helped paint it. She didn't miss a beat.

Sarah & team are absolutely unbelievable and I would recommend to any bride & groom that want to have the most seamless planning experience and wedding day!

Sarah at Lasting Impressions is absolutely incredible! We hired Sarah for complete coordination and it was the best money we spent throughout the entire wedding! Well worth the investment as having Sarah makes the entire process so enjoyable and is a master at minimizing stress. Sarah is efficient and organized and energized!! She is so genuinely happy to be planning your special day. When asked her opinion, she does an incredible job weighing in and guiding you based on her expertise while still ensuring you are happy with the outcome. This goes for matters of logistics, decor, menu, you name it. She understood my vision and connected us with the right vendors in our budget to make it happen. She also put together a perfect timeline so the day would flow seamlessly for all involved. When she says you will feel like a guest at your own wedding she means it. I can't say enough how priceless it was to not have a care on my day because I knew Sarah had it under control. I never had to look at the clock to make sure a vendor was on time, check in to see if the tables were set correctly etc. She handled it all with a smile on her face! We loved working with Sarah and miss seeing her name pop up in our inbox :)
