LaQuinta Inn, Auburn, IN Review

La Quinta is a nice motel with very friendly staff. They are dog friendly!!! We were pleasantly surprised to learn they have an on site Dog Park. It is a good size, even big fury friends could get their run and play on!
They have a little pool, and a hot tub.
Breakfast was a small buffet.
Rooms were clean and well cared for.
Only flaw is that their beds need replaced. They were still better than a cheap motel style bed.
Will definitely book here again!!!

The room is beautiful and large lots of lights although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant Dennys is next door and there are other restaurants nearby. We will return again.

The staff is exceptionally helpful and the accommodations are very nice

Terrible customer service. Not friendly at all. Id rather sleep in my car and save the money!! Had a horrible experience with front desk lady named Rachell. Avoid this business!

I stayed here for about 10 days and it's a great hotel. The breakfast is great so much better than other hotels. Very nice place.

Bed was well worn, for the price I would expect better. Glad they accepted dogs.

The hotel was decent and our room was clean. The area was sketchy and I will not stay there again. The worst part was taking the kids swimming. When I got out of the hot tub my eyes were burning even thoylugh I didn't go under water. When we got back to our room i realized my suit was no longer the original color and my skin was red with bumps. They had so much chemicals in the water it stripped my suit of color and one of the kids hair dye was also stripped.

Room was nice and clean, staff was accommodating, but we slept very poorly due to the very thin walls. We heard our neighbors talk until 4am and when someone used the shower, it sounded like someone showered inside our room. I would not recommend this hotel because of this.

Superb service. Clean, and well maintained. Wisely covid-cautious. Loved our stay there.

I got an infection staying there overnight my leg was swollen I had to go to the emergency room I had cellulitis infection.

Very good hotel Good customer service. The breakfasts are very good. They have oats, coffee, juices, cereals, waffles, fruits, eggs, milk, etc. The parking lot is large.

The bed was comfortable. That is the only good thing I can say about the hotel. Even though there was a card stating that the room had been cleaned by Jessica, the bath tub had pubic hairs and mold in it, the carpet wasn't vacuumed, the hard floor had dog hair all over, and we found used fake eyelashes ( I thought it was a huge spider at first)on the floor.

Ok so the tv didn't work. That's the only thing that was a litte unsatisfying for me and we had ask for help with it and nobody ever came up

Nice place, quiet, clean pool and hot tub. Room seems fine.

I'm in town for business so haven't been in the place during the day.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, decent hot breakfast . Stay here every few months . It is a good place to stay. Nice location just of the highway near plenty of food . Bed and pillors clean and comfortable. Overall price is good as well for the room

We had a great stay! Very clean, beds were great, fresh food at breakfast. Nicole was extremely helpful and super welcoming. Nicole remember who we were each time we entered the lobby and welcomed us! We were up and down the coast and this truly was the best stay we had all week! Great room with a view of the mountain. Will stay at this location on our next trip out to the Northwest!

Ashley is super sweet and very hospitable. Best service I ever had. Rooms are amazing for the price.

Noisy. Noisy. Noisy. It's right next to highway 18 so A LOT of traffic noise. We booked a king Jacuzzi suite. Just a one person jetted bathtub. Room is clean. Desk staff is nice.

Fourth stay and as always front desk employees are fabulous. The gal working in the evening when we checked it was extremely helpful and nice. Offering fresh chocolate chip cookies was beyond expectations. They still offer free breakfast . We placed our order the night before and it was a ready in the morning with very little wait. Rooms are always clean.

Seemed nice enough, but the coffee in the lobby was nauseating.

Stayed one night. A little further from I5 than I wanted to go. Hotel was nice. Our room was clean and comfortable. Heard a little noise from outside. The breakfast was small, but good. Eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles. Good coffee.

Outstanding time here. Came on a business trip on the way to bellingham. The front desk remembered my name every time I came down, and the coffee was hot every morning. Excellent breakfast and the rooms are great. Wood floors with carpet and they don't smell like smoke like a lot of competitors. Had no problems with the bed or room cleanliness at all. Highly recommended

I have stayed here a few times and each and every time has been great. Staff are friendly and helpful, always remembering who we were. They went out of their way to make us happy. Its clean, no smoking (fantastic) and I love it. Plan on staying there again real soon.

Wasnt the greatest experience first of all when we got our room and as soon as we open the door they gave us a room that wasn't even cleaned yet bed was a mess trash everywhere just disgusting so we had to leave and come back at a later time so that they could clean the room.

Went to clean a rooms carpet. I work at stanley steemer the front desk girl was helpful and provided us the information to get the job done smoothly.

Customer service was great. The room and bathroom was nice and clean... The reason for the 3 stars is because in october 2020 we had stayed here for a few weeks and our truck window and gotten smashed and there was no camera that had any visual of the incident and was parked straight out the side door facing wendys. Then came to stay march 13th to march 16th 2021 and guess what, once again today march 14th 2021 within 30 minutes of me parking the window of another vehicle we had brought had got the window shattered. Other than the reoccurring incidents the staff was awesome and rooms were clean!

Our room was on the first floor and there were so many loud noises all night. The air was also loud. We had to sleep with ear plugs in. Hallways smelled of cigarettes.. On top of that, it was my mistake for not reading the description on the booking but pets are allowed. It is not common where I am from so I didn't even think to check that pets are allowed. I was suffering from allergies, thinking it was the air system, but then saw a huge dog in the hall. Turns out they allow dogs which means there was likely a ton of pet dander in the room. Avoid if you have dog allergies or call ahead to see if there are pet free rooms.

While the facilities were clean and the place seemed to be a good value for the money initially, all that changed at checkout. I extended my stay but something got mixed up while the extension was entered into their reservation system. I was informed (after checkout time) that we had to leave. When asked what happened to the extension they admitted they made a mistake entering it into their computer but the mistake was made and now I had to leave. Further I was informed that the one day I did get was at a much increased rate (this was never mentioned during the booking) and that If I was not out by 1:30 pm I would incur an additional charge.

After scrambling to get out by the deadline given me I asked to speak with the manager. The attendant told me she was not there and that she would not hand out her number. When I asked if she could dial her manager and just hand me the phone the attendant refused. A general manager that cannot be reached by a customer tells me everything I need to know about a business. I wish I had known this is how they operated before doing any business with them.

To sum up....If I cold have rated this location a negative 10, it still would not reflect the terrible experience that was had there. To add insult to injury the desk attendant was giving me attitude the whole time telling me she was doing me a favor by at least telling me I had a deadline to get out.

After the debacle here I wound up at the Hampton Inn and Suites at the nearby town of Kent. What a difference. For a few dollars more I found a very nice place, bigger rooms and a hotel staff that really went the extra mile to make sure everything was right. Basically the polar opposite of the La Quinta Inn & Suites Auburn.

More than a week after making inquiries I still have not heard from either the management or the corporate office of La Quinta Inn and Suites. I have to give this place my lowest score. Hope this helps the reader avoid some grief. Whatever you decide I'm wishing you a great stay in the Seattle area.

In the way of an update...after multiple inquiries I was never contacted by La Quinta Corporate or that general manager at the La Quinta Inn & Suites Auburn. Not so coincidentally I've noticed since that by avoiding any and all La Quinta locations my stays have been orders of magnitude better :)

Really nice rooms, fun little pool and hot tub. Nice that they have continental breakfast.

We were kept up by the room next door being noisy, walls weren't that thick. Beyond that, service was fine, breakfast didn't have that much food, place was tidy.

I was only in the lobby but it was a very nice place

Wonderful staff I've stayed at quit a few L.Q in the past 6 months. Spokane, Burien, and Wenatchee. Spokane and auburn by far is the best I've stayed at. Nicole is wonderful to deal with she has good energy, positive attitude, and a heart of gold. I visit this area quit frequently and will be staying here for the cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of the staff. The breakfast also is very convenient as well. I'll be seeing you at least twice a month

Had a good night's sleep at this hotel. Friendly staff, great location. Hot breakfast was very good. Only thing that needs improvement is the coffee... could be a tad better. Overall I would stay at this location again.

Pet friendly and very clean rooms. Staff is very polite with some beauties working behind the desk.

The rooms are wonderful and always clean. The front desk staff are amazing!! We love the breakfast choices and they staff keeps it fully stocked and clean. Definitely a great choice, we stay there every time we're in town!

Our crew travels from Spokane to the Seattle and surrounding areas for work, for a week at a time. The first week we stayed at the la quinta the staff was extremely accommodating, the second week we have come here the management has been overly poor.
We rented a spacious 2 bed queen room with no fold out couch for 3 people, the same room as the week before. We ask for a rollaway bed and were declined. We were told we would have to move to a room with a pull out bed, when the previous week we were granted a rollaway bed.
The breakfast isn't great and the hot tub has been down for 2 weeks, or longer.
The management has decided to replace hideaway beds with new ones but has no intent to fix the hot tub.
The manager here is not very accomodating and overly stubborn. From one week to the next they are different.
The staff is great but I cannot say the same for the management.
We will not be staying here again...

The rooms were clean and cookies were on a dish in the lobby which was nice. Breakfast didn't taste great but was sufficient.

Clean, quiet, accessible from the highway. No gym due to covid. Could probably stand bigger tv's but no real complaints

What can I say about La Quinta in Auburn? It's not in the nicest part of town, but that doesn't matter because this hotel is fabulous!!! The staff I dealt with were some of the friendliest people I've met at hotels. The rooms were amazing; the beds are comfortable, the rooms are very spacious, and most of all the rooms are super clean. The La Quinta in Auburn is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in.

Hotel is clean, staff is friendly. Not really quite hotel because it's located on a busy street. Other than that it's not bad for the price.

The assistant GM is great! However the rest was horrible! First they messed up our reservation and tried to force my family to check out (I was in Seattle and unable to help fix THEIR issue) *there are other reviews plus corporate is aware this happens often there. We then were asked to leave because the hotel claimed we were too noisy....yes my 1 year old and 2 year old were crying all night with the flu (full on vomit and diarrhea fest), told there was arguing too...hmm single,mom staying in a room with kids...nope but told I was a liar and was told they were going tobhave police come. Heard from staff this is actually pretty normal actions for the manager. Moved to Beat Western and they were amazing plus heard a lot of people leave from La Quinta to move to Best Western during their stays at La Quinta. Plus La Quinta really needs to do something about all the people smoking Pot inside their rooms....smelled like marijuana non-stop!

Front desk clerk gave me a hard time stating that she couldn t locate my reservation. Minutes later she says it s because she printed the reservation off already. She laid my ID on the counter instead of giving it to me as if she didn t want to touch my hand. I had to tell her my first and last name three times for it to sink with her. It s not a hard name. That tells me she is not a good listener. I got to my room and one of the sheets was dirty. I called the front multiple times before I got an answer. The clerk told me I d have to come down in person to get a clean sheet. When I asked why I should have to come down and get a sheet when they put me in a room with a dirty sheet to begin with she replied that there was no one to watch the front desk. I asked to speak with a manager and she told me the manager was gone for the day. Management has dropped the ball by not fully staffing the hotel and people with bird brains like the clerk will only frustrate guests like myself who spend hard earned money on expensive hotels.

The assistant general manager was excellent. She recommended it fabulous place to eat, made reservations and really went all out. Flip side to that was the beds are soft and you wake up in pain pillows were flat even though they look fluffy. Was woke up by noisy people in the room next to us at 4 a.m. in the morning front desk tried to take care of it they quieted down a little but still didn't shut up and they're loud now and it's 11 a.m.

Very nice and clean place. Big and updated rooms. Great location, lots of restaurants nearby and a shopping mall as well. Excellent customer service, the reception staff was extremely warm and welcoming.
