Bought 3 trucks from this place. I will never buy a vehicle there again. The after service when dealing with parts and service is now terrible. The last straw was when a brought for broken manifold bolt. 2 days later I get my truck back with absolutely nothing done to it. The service department told me to be carful with my truck because of the manifold they had not fix

If you want excellent service go to Chrysler in Arnprior, the fix my truck in half a day. I will be buying there for my next truck.

Don t forget Lapoints , all they do is sell sell sell. Service terrible

Wow! What a great experience! We were traveling up from Montreal to the base in Petawawa for a precision rifle shoot when the serpentine belt gave up in my truck. They took us in on the Saturday afternoon before Thanksgiving and got the belt and water pump replaced in record time. Such a better experience than dealers I usually have to put up with in Montreal. Deal with these guys in confidence, they will have your back!

Went in to finance My first car, there was a couple hiccups because of my age at the time and my occupation, but they got through it all and got me in a brand new dodge dart for the fraction of the price for a new one because it had a couple thousand km on it so it was considered "used" at the time I dealt with willow as my sales person and she was great, but everyone else there was friendly and awesome, to this day every time I get my car serviced it's always on time and out when they tell me it's going to be done!

To be honest, disappointing on 2 fronts:

Sales: tried to price match from another dealer and buy local, comms fell off the rails and never heard from them after a few back and forths

Service: brought car in to check alignment and steering, they claimed it was just the road but I insisted and they did an alignment and adjusted the front end caster and camber. Lo and behold, the car was tracking better afterwards. Took 4 hours to get it done though.

Probably never again.

Both Mike and Ada did everything they could to make sure I got what I was looking for. Both were straight forward, patient and extremely polite.
I've purchased vehicles from other dealerships and even though they were mostly good experiences, the team at Lapointe Chrysler topped them all. I would definitely give them my business again and would 100% reccomend them to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle.

If I could give them more than 5 stars I definitely would.

If you had asked me after my first visit how I felt, they would have awarded them two stars. But, as a particularly difficult customer, I feel that they have bent over backwards to address my concerns. On one occasion I had to wait for parts and missed a service deal, but they honoured the deal and gave me the discount. Bottom line is that they're a business and they are going to try and upsell you- just be friendly and firm and they will back down.

Non stop calls to buy a vehicle, yet they can't even repair a recall that we have been waiting for almost a year to have done.....

horrible service. Sold me a car that needed an engine. The lady said don't buy junk than. She admitted to selling me a junky car. Can't wait to see you go out of business cause it's coming soon. Trust me. You should be selling potatoes, not vehicles. La Pointe Chrysler is the worst dealership I've dealt with and will never do it again, so please don't be next. Be aware.

I purchased my second vehicle from there... Will never do it again. I now receive monthly promotional phone calls, and mail from them every month. Also, they don't inform you about warranty work when something under warranty breaks.

Very helpful staff with so much to choose from. Head here first before anywhere else in town! Won't regret it.

Received very good prices for both exchange and new truck. Truck was ready on time for pick-up.
Service with finance people was great. Even tough negociation was long, this dealership goal is to close a deal.

I had nothing but a very good experience dealing with all the staff. I came a long ways to purchase my vehicle and I was able to drive home with it the same day. Of course there were a few hiccups but they dealt with them promptly. So thank you so much for everything and the truck is working flawlessly.

I worked there for a bit it is by far the worst place to work. There is no training what so ever and when you ask for help or don't know what to do Matt Greenidge would yell and call you an f***ing idiot would even call customers idiots as well. He would bully and threatened your job all the time. Would rip off customers and the workers.
How this guy is let to run this place is beyond me the way he talks to people and the way he belittles the staff makes me want to puke.

Went with my dad, employees came to assumption I was his wife. Rude and disgusted looks the entire visit.

Wrong diagnosis over and over, installed wrong thermostats, broke my window controls passenger side, scratched my shifter, scratched my steering wheel, oil covered interior, scratched rims, banged door driver side, lifted my car on its oil pan (that just happened yesterday), AND to boot they stole an AUX cable out of my car, rummaged through my car, stole free coffees as well as a few dollars I kept in the console.
Avoid Lapoint they have no clue what they're doing, over prices parts and service and no regard for you or your vehicle.
Beware!!!

Went to look at a vehicle and was trying to trade my car in and they was so very hard to deal with and I had to almost bag for my keys back and the staff was very rude as well thanks I went else where for a better service at Hyundai

Just stop and ask random people that drive a dodge, Chrysler orJeep and ask them if they bought from here. And the stories you ll hear. I d question all the five stars.Just read some of them they sound more like a commercial not a review. My experience here is unbelievable I still can t believe the way I was treated by management. They ll tale your money then close the door unless you have more.

They are lucky that I am even giving them a 1. Absolutely the worst customer service my husband and I have ever received. We have purchased 4 vehicles from them in the past. They dropped the ball on every aspect of our purchase. The sales associate actually quit while our deals was being processed. We got the run around for 5 business days. They were very unprofessional and unorganized. We were charged $50 on our bill for fuel, the car we purchased doesn't cost $50 to fill. After all was said and done my husband went to pick our car to drive it home, the lugnuts were not even tightened!! My husband could have been killed or even hurt someone else. We will never give them our business ever again. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone!

they have a nice large selection ...but i don't know much else

Very good service, everything was perfect, except for a small demonstration of the interior accessories of the vehicle (Radio, GPS, Uconnect, dashboard, etc ...)

Great customer service, for sales and service. Live two hours away and still go back time to time depending on what is wrong. My vehicle has been treated really well there.

Aren't we supposed to take care of our own employees? Treat them like an extended member of the family? Its simple really, match what the Ottawa dealership was offering or watch her walk away from the deal. Happens a lot in the car industry, as a sales person or a sales manager OR GENERAL MANAGER, you should know that. Just didn't expect someone to lose their job over it. Fired over a simple commission cheque.... very sad. Let this be a lesson. Shame.

I couldn't get a straight answer as to what they actually give a military discount on, even though they have a sign stating they offer a military discount. They tried to deny me warranty work stating my warranty was up even though it clearly wasn't. Overall a purely negative experience dealing with them.

Just a friendly word of advice for my Petawawa Ontario, Canada friends. Be extremely cautious and know your warranty before taking your vehicle to Lapointe Chrysler in Petawawa Ontario, Canada FOR SERVICE. I changed the gear oil on my diffs as my kids and I were about to head out on our annual summer camping trip and noticed large chunks of metal in the fluid.

After a week of the dealership giving me the runaround they finally said that my broken spider gears are not covered under warranty. That these things just don t break. Even though I m only at 54,000 km of a 100,000 km powertrain warranty. I had to pay $300.00 just to get it out of the shop, they quoted me at $3200 to fix it parts $1100 and labour $1848.

Please note if anything I bought this vehicle from them used at 12,000km at the time they had 35 tires on it on a 7 rim. Not the 8.5(minimum) which it should have been. I downgraded the tire to a 33 as the ones on it were some knock off brand from China and wore out after 30,000km.
I ve taken that thing off road twice and just down a beginner trail. IT IS A JEEP. Other than that the kids and I use the Jeep for camping.

Further according to Lapointe Chrysler it is ok for a vehicle to sit outside with the diff plate off apparently the huge storms we had here this past week wouldn t affect it. According to their service manager rain only falls straight down, humidity and moisture won t hurt the diff. Well There was water in my diffs, bearing and joints. Just paid 300 for literally nothing.

If you look at the photos you will see the first two the day i changed the gear fluid and noticed metal chunks. So i inspected.
Then you will see a photo of the rear of the jeep with no diff cover on 7 days later and a puddle under it, from a severe storm earlier in the week. Then you can see condensation on the diff. There was water inside the case.

Went in today to have my van checked for an engine tick. My last oil change was done un August 2020 and around 10000 km. The book states 1 year 16000 km max in-between oil changes. They charged me a diagnostic fee for a warranty check on the van. The service manager was rude and not properly informed. He told me every 3 months is what you have to do even though the manual said completely different. And the service tec lied on the paper work stating I told him it was over a year when I said it was last year 2020 in the fall the actual date was August 4th 2020 at 145 pm. So very unprofessional its only a 40.49$ charge but it's the principle. This is being sent to Chrysler Canada also with the invoice. For the Vin on the oil change they used my plate number as they were doing very little contact with covid I have my previous registration showing that plate belongs to this vehicle

They messaged me at 615 in the morning asking me to take down my review. Very professional added the pictures if the message

I have always had great experiences. I have bought all my cars with Matt and wouldn't go anywhere else. He is always able to find exactly what I need and want. For my first car I came in with a strict budget I could afford monthly and a figure I was willing to spend on a car. I fell in love with the car he showed me and thought there was no way this fell into my price range, but it did! I LOVE this car 10 years later still! When it was time for my husband (and 3 kids) to purchase a van I knew exactly where to go. This dealership isn't even close to where I live but it is worth the drive. We bought an awesome van and couldn't be happier. I will never buy from anyone else.

Typical dealership, nothing special about it. Do not use their online services such as part or even new car inquires as they just don't bother replying or even calling back.....

Experience was tense as usual with new car purchase but with the help of up beat and knowledgeable people like Jennifer and Chris who both jumped through hoops to help me get the best deals they could made me glad I went there to buy my new Jeep
Read other posts here and find it hard to believe they had that much trouble...

We had a great experience here this week while we were shopping for our new vehicle. Casey was amazing, and helped us try to find the best vehicle to fit into our family's dynamic needs and also stay in our budget. He made the whole experience fun and made a solid effort to get to know us and our needs. He made it an enjoyable experience and made us feel excited to buy a vehicle without feeling pressured to make a rushed decision while we were stressed due to being in a time crunch to have a new vehicle.

I also got to experience a sneak peek into what service would be like from here as my current vehicle wouldn't start in the parking lot. The mechanic was awesome and got the car going quickly.

I highly recommend Lapointe's. If your in the market for a new vehicle, ask for Casey he is amazing!!!! We will definitely be going back to him in the future when we need our next vehicle

My wife and I went to them last weekend looking for a new vehicle and we ended up driving away in something we thought was out of our budget. Lapointe Chrysler worked with us and made us a great deal! I absolutely recommend to anyone looking at a pickup to take a look at the new Ram lineup. Very disappointed with this dealerships service. We had contacted them prior to as well as the day of, to let them know what time, and what vehicle we were coming to see. After being given the green light to go up and check it out, we drove a total of 6 hours only to get there and be told that they think this one might have actually sold.. which it had. Would have been nice to know when we asked about it in the first place.

If you like being argued with and being told wrong information, then this dealership is for you..... they tried telling us we had no warranty then magically found it after I told them we had gold coverage... too bad they couldnt tell me what that covered.....will not be stepping foot ever again here... nothing but problem after problem with them....

Excellent dealership. Highly recommend Lapointe. Service and parts department have great service and sales force is on their game with product knowledge. They have one of the best Jeep selections in Ontario. Jeep seems to be one of their focus areas with plenty of offerings, and "pre-upgraded" rigs. If you own a Jeep, they know their stuff. The lot is cramped so take your time driving in.

I can't comment on the service for cars as I was only there with my sister who was getting her van an oil change. It is first come first serve. The staff helped us to connect to their free wifi. They had complimentary hot beverages. The washroom was kept very clean. They had photo copies of sheets that had puzzles to do.

great products but needs to improve corporate image.

Aggressive sales staff. Poor after purchase service. Up charge as much as they can. Will not honor any previous commitments. I love Jeep and Ram but would rather drive to Ottawa than deal with the Lapointes. Bottom line, they are just out to make a dime and damned be the customer.
