I had an incredible experience with this dealership but specifically with the GSM Danielle Maynard. Danielle offered me multiple different deals to fit my budget. She spent a lot of time looking for a car that fit what I wanted at different dealerships and she was patient beyond belief and dealt with all my haggling for a better price with great patience. She offered me a deal that was far better than the other dealers I shopped at. If you re looking for a Land Rover find Danielle and you ll be set!!!!

We was were by John Sanderson, who made us feel comfortable at the showroom and he showed us around and guide us thought the car, The salesman was very informative and he was answering very question of ours patiently. John is not your typical car sales man, he listens...

John is not your typical car sales man, he listens intently and gets to understand exactly what you want from a car, he also speaks with authority about the vehicles , not just the fancy bits but the "oily" ones under the hood. There are no gimmicks in this dealership its all about the car , you and the best deal they can do for you. I highly recommend Land Rover South Bay and especially John Sanderson.

While shopping for my new Land Rover, I visited several LR dealers in Los Angeles and South Bay Rover was by far the most pleasant.
The service manager Aly was extremely helpful as was the sales staff in helping us search for the right vehicle at a price we were happy with.
I highly recommend them and ask for Bill Bayram, who was exceptional
and very personable.

My land rover discovery sport HSE is a great size SUV. It has all the luxury items I need. An awesome panoramic roof, nice speakers, unbelievable stereo, and nice radio sound. Electric windows, air conditioning, gas efficient usage, backup camera, everything. It can seat 5 passengers and has enough room in the back for everything. All passengers are comfortable and there's plenty of room for everything. Everyone really loves the look. My color is Strom troops white on black with tinted windows. There were so many upgrade choices. Lastly, I just have to talk about the sales staff. These guys went above and beyond getting me exactly what I wanted. It took over two days of decision making and my sales rep. James, was there with me the entire time. These guys are awesome! I can't recommend this place enough. AutoNation Land Rover South Bay is the best place to purchase your next/new Land Rover. Trust me you won't regret it.

I've been taking my Range Rover for service for about a year and a half my service advisor Jesse Bulen is incredible helpful and knowledgeable, I think their customer service is the best of any other dealership I've been to, there is no comparison. I recently had one of my best car buying experiences at Land Rover South Bay. I was assisted in my purchase by Jin Cho, Fleet Manager. The vehicle --- a 2019 Acura RDX -- was priced fairly so there was no need on either side to posture or haggle. It was an honest price with no hidden fees or other charges. Jin fully acquainted himself with all the functions so that he could guide me through the vehicle when I arrived. After my purchase, he agreed to deliver the vehicle to my home. I was really impressed by my experience at Land Rover South Bay and would definitely return again.

Dealership can't even get my name right. For me this is the ultimate sign of disrespect..I felt passed around, and the process was long and tedious. My car developed problems with the tire pressure monitoring system within 20 minutes of driving it off the lot. I am dissatisfied with this transaction.

My car has spent more time in the shop than I've driven it.. The warranty that I was supposed to get didn't cover the repairs that needed to be made.. Their "certified vehicle" has been a certifiable piece of junk.. As of now 6/24/20 the vehicle has been in the shop for a total of 21 days.

Last time, there were broken sensors, leaking coolant reservoir, leaking valve cover which cost me over $500 to repair..

This time (less than 50 later) the vehicle the coolant temp sensor, the oil pan gasket is leaking , there is a need for a catalytic converter which they do not cover the price for that is $1165, and the tire needs a patch. None of this is covered by the so-called "warranty" that they initially forgot to provide me.

Additionally, I have already incurred over $900 in rental car fees because I STILL need to go to work.

This has been a nightmare! I thought buying from a dealership would ensure that I got a reputable vehicle from a trusted source..boy was I wrong!!

All of this is less than 90 days of ownership.

I went in for a simple service and detail. It took six days! They seem good at what they do but seem very understaffed. I had to call them for updates instead of them calling me. At least they gave me a nice rental car.

She provided us with really great one on one service and also stayed to show us all the details of our new vehicle, my husband and I were there until 10pm on a Wed finalizing everything and nothing felt rushed at all. Enjoyed working with Liz on our recent Rover purchase. We pretty much new what we wanted and Liz took that info and searched the inventories to find a perfect match. We dropped by and did some preliminary paper work on our way out of town, then returned the next day to have the vehicle waiting and ready to go! I recommend this dealership in general (always had good experiences) and I certainly recommend asking for Liz!

Excellent customer service! I live on the east coast and was visiting the area when I hit my service mark. I called a few other dealerships and could not get an appointment. Nathan at South Bay was able to get me an immediate appointment and went the extra mile to get me a comparable loaner when the initial loaner did not have many of the features as my own 2016. He was courteous and friendly during my entire experience and made me feel like a long time customer and friend. I will definitely keep them in mind should I ever visit the area again.

I walked onto the parking lot and passed several men, non of which greeted me nor asked if I needed help. It wasn't until I saw Micheal A. that I was spoken to. I was very satisfied with the service I received from him, the personal attention and cleanliness of the dealership. My wait time was very minimal since the store wasn't busy.
I would, without doubt recommend Micheal A. as a salesperson to any friend and/or family member looking to purchase a Land/Range Rover.

The service experience for my Jaguar was top notch. My car was taken on time and within ten minutes I was given a loaner which was an almost new Landrover Discovery. In addition, my service advisor, Evan Sheehan, was first rate - knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I'd recommend this service department for anyone with a Jaguar.

Worst Range Rover I've ever been to ! The service department is decent ,but no one there ever calls when they say they are going to call . As for sales, I've dealt with Brian and he's the absolute worst!!!!!!!I own a Range Rover Evoque now and I want to upgrade to a sport . I told him the kind of car i wanted he took my number down and told me he was going to send me his email so I can email him the car I built online . 3 days passed never heard from him , so I called and just asked for his number and I would text it to him . Then 1 week passed not even an update on the car or other options I might like , so I called him AGAIN and he gave me the same run around saying he's looking. Finally I was over it so I went looking online to what dealerships have in stock , turns out he had the closest car to the one I wanted in his dealership! I went and they completely under valued my car and put me underwater 5k , which my husband and I could have paid easily but when discussing it over the phone with my husband . He and serval colleagues sat at his desk and joked that I should just give up and that I didn't have the money. I was so annoyed that I just left and took my money elsewhere.

I'll be honest, Land Rover always charges a premium, so when I picked up my car to be serviced and they didn't even take the time to detail or wash the car, I was pretty disappointed. If you are going to charge a premium to service cars, then you should give premium service. The guy then said "well it was really windy and the car got dirty again, but I then pointed out that the wheels were filthy, so it was never really cleaned to begin with. Then they said they would issue me a "free detailing" credit to come back to use and I've never seen that. When I mentioned to the girl at the main desk that the car wasn't washed she was kind of dismissive and rude as well. I know everyone is busy, but again, if you're going to charge premium prices, which you do, you need to do better on the service levels you deliver.

Salespeople at dealerships in general are slow to follow up. This dealership was a little better-and did -when I showed my seriousness in buying became more responsive. Did provide vehicle inspection report and all- in pricing in advance-and stuck with the pricing at purchase. Best feature was allowing a "hold" so I could travel from 400 miles away to buy the car-without worrying that it would be sold out from under me.

Our visit to Land Rover at South Bay was to third Land Rover and coming from BMW, it was difficult decision to switch but experience we had at the dealership not only helped us decide but also educated us about the brand and it's philosophy in a different way. I bought my new 2019 jaguar I Pace at the South Bay Jaguar Land Rover dealer last month. They were able to give me a great price and made the purchase painless without any haggling. I took my car in for a new car checkout and washing and was very pleased with the extraordinary service I received. The car checked out fine but there was newer software so they updated the software while I waited. They returned the car to me clean and with the improved software that extended the range of my car between charging. I couldn t be happier with the technicians and service advisors!

Such a bad experience here. Such a shame as I love the cars but this outlet has such bad customer service. It s all about business and the follow up is unbelievably bad. My pregnant wife and I had to wait 5 hours late on a Friday night despite having an appointment to buy out my lease and they still got it wrong and made mistakes that they now won t respond to or fix.
Very nice leading up to the sale, terrible post or event during.
I never take the time to write any type of reviews, but they asked for one and I had such a bad extended experience that here it is..
I would def go somewhere else as I definitely will

The workmanship of the mechanics gets a five-star review. The service department gets a one-star review, so I gave it 2 stars. Made an appointment to bring in my Jaguar F pace for a new windshield, since it had been hit by a rock from the freeway and cracked. (My first time to this location I usually get my service completed where I bought my vehicle, but this location is new and closer). I make an appointment by phone, arranging to leave my car with them for five days while I'm out of town. The girl that answers the phone writes down the wrong model of car and my name incorrectly, so when I call back a week later to confirm everything, they can't find anything in the database and they had not ordered my windshield to be ready, which I had requested to cut down on wait time. I spoke to a service rep who ordered the windshield and confirmed my appointment. Dropped off my vehicle, no problems there. However, I was told they would call me in the next couple of days because there's no way this repair would take all five days (wed to mon). I'm also told they will call me with updates. Nothing!, I finally call @ 3:30 p.m. on Saturday inquiring if my car will be ready Monday morning like I had originally requested. (& told would be no problem). Same service guy, Angelo tells me he'll definitely know within 90 minutes what time on Monday I could pick it up. He promises to call....

No call, and they close on Sundays. I called early Monday morning inquiring when I can pick up my vehicle, I'm told by one of the mechanics that they believe it will be ready by 3 in the afternoon, since service rep Angelo is off today . I call back at 1 p.m. to confirm this, prior to getting an Uber to the location and the service department tells me they're not sure when it will be done. I demand to speak to the manager, he calls me back 30 minutes later at is quite rude to me, pointing out his mechanic already told me it will be ready at 3. I pick up the car, the workmanship is excellent.
If you are coming here for service for your high-end car, ie Land Rover or Jaguar, then service is not what you will receive. You will receive excellent mechanics working on your vehicle but the service portion is sadly lacking. I will return to Penske Land Rover in Cerritos where they keep you fully informed when maintenance is done on your vehicle. Will not be returning to this location for service or to buy any future vehicles.

I scraped the curb and broke my Valve stem. Roadside assistance came to my rescue and towed my car to Land Rover South Bay. This was a saturday at 3:00 PM or so and the dealership closes at 5. They replace the vale stem with sensor and checked everything out to be A-OK in one hour. Amazing! Jesse the service associate was extremely helpful in getting this done. His communication skills were off the hook!

Bad experience as soon as I stepped through the door. I was interested in purchasing a Range Rover Evoque that was listed on their website, so I sent an inquiry before the dealership opened. When the dealership opens I immediately I receive an email from Benjamin Taska, informing that the car was still there and he asked if I would like to set an appointment. Great, I decided I would go after work around 3pm and view the car. Arrived at the dealership and stood at the front welcome desk waiting to be greeted. Stood there for a period of time while watching a group of employees huddled together having a conversation before I was finally acknowledged and asked if I was being assisted. I explained that I had an appointment with Benjamin to view an Evoque. After locating Benjamin, he informs me that it would a minute and that he needed to speak with his sales manager. A few minutes go by and they both come out to talk to me. The sales manager right away lets me know that the car is held on reserve and is actually not available. At this moment all I could think about was: A) Why would you wait until my arrival to inform me of this car being on reserve and B) why would you have me wait for your sales manager to explain the situation. I was at a lost for words and they immediately proceeded to try to help sell me something I didn t want. It was completely awkward and the only thing I wanted to do was leave. I never had a dealership kill a sale so quick with such bad customer service. I guess it makes since why people are buying vehicles out of vending machines.

"Bad and irresponsibility service" experience

The service technology of this dealer is very unprofessional and irresponsible.

My car was checked the engine shaking and abnormal noise before the expire of the warranty at the dealer service department. After the service was completed, they told me that there was no problem with the engine. But after only a few hundred miles of driving, they checked again because of the same problem, and they told me that the timing chain and supercharger of the engine were broken, and they want to charge me $10353.18. After discussing with their service manager, he said that the supercharger is not failed, only charge me $ 8944.93. After meeting with their General manager , he first told me that he didn't want to discuss the issue of maintenance. He just wanted to buy my car at a low price before they sell a new car to me. After I refused, he only agreed to give a discount on the repair fees. They didn't admit that my loss caused by their unprofessional and irresponsibility. I felt deep disappointed about this car dealer and quality of the brand , and decided not to continue to buy Land Rover brand cars, although our family still has 4 Jaguar Land Rover cars.
I think I will continue to complain about this issue until the dealer corrects the error.

Dont go here. Placed a deposit on a vehicle I was going to buy, I wired the money for a Range Rover went there to pick it up and they told me someone else bought the car I had placed a deposit on (back in 2014). In 2016 I bought a car somewhere else and they jusy went to town on scratching the car while it was being serviced, they ripped of brand new plastic covers off of stuff and left muddy footprints.

My service writer, Evan Sheehan, took such good care of me. I limped in with a flat tire, which had to be ordered. I also had a complaint about a low battery light that came on each time I turned the car on OR off, so the technician installed a new battery, and also found a couple of other items that needed to be addressed. Evan Sheehan made sure that I had my car as soon as humanly possible, and in tip-top shape. I couldn't be happier.
