One of the nicest restaurant I ve been too. We went for a 50th wedding anniversary meal. Staff were so lovely and brought out a dessert plate for my grandparents to celebrate. Food was very good and nothing was under or over cooked.

Good food. Not over the top with sizing despite the over pricing. Very expensive with supermarket brand prosecco. Extra add ones not much to them for extra cost.
However good service,nice surroundings.

Not really impressed with the service today ,very average!!!
I've been to at least 5 of the miller & carter restaurants & been to them on numerous occasions but the service for lunch today took 2 hours usually the service is top notch but this hast to be the worse one ,very slow!took half an hour for our starter & 45 mins for out mains .
I was only in the newcastle branch a week ago & it was excellent service food & staff but we won't be returning to this one ,poulton branch us 10 times better .

It's in a decent location easy to access from either Lytham or Blackpool. Substantial car park, plenty of space for most motor vehicles. Book in advance to ensure a table. They have hand sanitiser at the main desk and remind you to use some on arrival. Good new disposable menu with good choice and service is efficient enough. Although we had a minor wait, this wasn't something to criticise. Pricing is at the higher scale, however the quality of food does represent it. One thing I'd suggest is a new lighting scheme as it was directed on my partners face and by the end of the night she had a headache from the glare.

All in all they have adapted well since Covid-19 and have good quick cleaning measures in place once a customer has left.

I would recommend

Great atmosphere, good service - our waiter was very attentive.
My Steak House burger was over cooked and broke up into small dryer pieces. The chips were on the hotter side of warm.
A tad disappointed to say the least

I booked a table for 8.15pm for my husbands birthday. We were not seated until 8.30pm. Then we were not given any menus, we ended up calling over a staff member to ask for them.
This already wasted a lot of time (which we didn't have much of due to a toddler at home being babysat).
We were sat on a tiny cramped table next to the toilets with no room for our food, they had to remove the candle decorations to try and squeeze our plates on and it was still not enough space.
The waitress was quite rude and unhelpful.
I asked for some more water and she walked by three times without bringing it, another server ended up bringing it to the table for me.
We were given the wrong mac and cheese with our chataubriand so that just went to waste as neither of us like BBQ flavour, we didn't see any point in complaining about it at the time due to the servers already bad attitude.

We order 3 starters and a chataubriand with regular mac and cheese as our main. The mushrooms and chipotle chicken were good starters. The calamari wasn't good at all. The chataubriand was lovely but as I said the mac and cheese was not the one we ordered.

Overall the food was good but the service was terrible. My husband and I were really disappointed as it was a special occasion and we spent a good amount of money on it, only for it to be ruined by bad service. I wouldn't recommend.

Made to feel extremely welcome on arrival. Outstanding social distancing measure eg good layout of tables, disposable menus, hand sanitisers all around. Food was exceptional as was the waitress that attended to us. Can not fault and will be back!

Out for my step daughter's birthday, staff very helpful but my rib eye steak had more fat than meat (not nice at all)Not wanting to wait while everyone else was eating theirs I just left it. 2nd time I've been to the Lytham restaurant and been underwhelmed, definitely won't be back to this one.

STEAK, STEAK, STEAK AND MORE STEAK

The most wonderful steak was had by all of us. Myself a 3 other members of our family came here last week for a wonderful meal. Our server James was great and very knowledgeable about the wine and cutsbof meat. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and another visit is definitely on the cards

Great visit tonight for son's 18th birthday, which James the waiter picked up on when we mentioned his first 'official' pint! When the desserts were brought out, my son's was on a plate with 'Happy 18th Birthday' written on in jam sauce and several of the Miller and Carter team sang a tongue-in-cheek Happy Birthday. It was such a laugh.
The food was delicious. James gave us recommendations. The team showed great care and attention to making it just right and genuinely engaged with customers.
Thanks for a great night . We highly recommend.

We had a lovely meal very tasty and very well presented. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. Will go again soon. THANK YOU.

What a sad disappointment. Highly adventurous prices (for a pub/restaurant chain) failed to ensure any reasonable quality of either food or service.
Starters were miniscule <sic > and were largely inedible. My initial starter was sent back to the kitchen as inedible.
The replacement consisting of very rubbery, flavourless prawns swimming in flavourless oil was little improvement.

Starter prices equated to those for a main course in most pub restaurants.

Whilst my partner's sirloin was reported as being "very nice" the large wedge of fat necessarily removed accounted for perhaps 1/8 of the steak itself.
The accompanying half-lettuce, whilst chilled and crisp, swam in watery, flavourless dressing. The thin and spiky sweet potato fries added no value to appearance nor taste.

Surroundings: During our visit the Miller filled startingly quickly at approximately 5:30. The place sounded boisterous, noisy and in my opinion there were just far too many tables and seating crammed in for reasonable comfort.

Staff appeared to try their best to cope, however the resultant picture was of a city centre during rush hour.
I much prefer to offer the warmest of praise for restaurants, especially when I often see that little extra bit of effort, presentation or food quality given.

Sadly, on every juncture the Miller & Carter failed, not just a little, but badly.
At half the price I suppose most would tolerate the below average food and lax service, however at markups akin to much higher class, independent restaurants my own experience strongly suggests this is one venue preferably avoided - unless desperate.

Food was fantastic, nice atmosphere. We had the Butchers Block to share between 2 and would highly recommend it! The ribeye steak was some of the best I've ever had. Matt served us and was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. Only downside of this restaurant is that we live on the other side of the world from it!

Great service and great food. Really very, very good for those that suffer from food allergies or intolerances. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The restaurant was clean, and the staff wonderful with our little toddler. Thanks! Highly recommended for excellent fresh food, lovely wine, extensive drinks menu and a great welcome.

The food, although a slightly long time coming was worth the wait. My friend who chose a burger said it was the best burger she had ever tasted. The desserts were so good too. Offer of three courses were very good value.

I understand we are going through a pandemic right now, but my partner was told that basically they dont want to take our reservation as we have a baby and the baby will take up another seat for someone else. This confused my partner at first and she had to clarify that we would be the only people sitting at our table right??? He said the baby seat would take up a persons seat so we couldnt have another couple in to have dinner. Needless to say we are fuming!!!
