Excellent food and service.

Have been for the second time over Christmas and again had an excellent meal and would like to thank Susan for her service.

Excellent lunchtime meal. Very friendly staff. Will be visiting again.

What a lovely experience and meal, the wife thoroughly enjoyed it as I did myself service superb could not have had a better night.

The decor fits the brief of masculine steak house with quality looking fixtures and fittings and mood lighting, the staff polite, the steaks were good, but other dishes like the lamb were average and could have been served hot rather than warm. Expensive prices for a chain restaurant but it has the feel of a up market independent which is what your paying for.

From the moment we went in the service...menu....wine...presentation and quality of food was top class.So relaxing and enjoyable.

Visited here with my father who is in a wheelchair last Wednesday. The sirloin was like butter and the lobster was phenomenal.
Susan, our waitress is an absolute credit to the business. She was extremely attentive with my father and went above and beyond to make sure he was happy, including getting the chefs to chop up his quarter lettuce, and offering to box up his remaining steak to take home.
The only downside was when we finished I had to take my father to the regular bathroom as the disabled one was in use, only to discover the matradee leaving the disabled toilet as my father struggled to use the regular bathroom

Great steak, desserts always seem to be a let down on the occasions I've had them sadly. Service is always great though very friendly staff!

Absolutely lovely food. Good service with attention to detail

Expensive Aberdeen angus sirloin steak..quite good and succulent but have had better not worth price..
Would like vegetable selection to be included as matter of course.
Expensive wine.. wouldn't particularly rate house merlot.
Would also like 'proper' napkins.
On plus side, companions very much enjoyed ribs and sea bass and desserts.
I won't be rushing back.

Miller & carter is a lovely relaxing place to spend an afternoon. The food is great and the staff are very friendly. I'd recommend it to my friends and family.

One staff member was rude and aggressive! And the whole Covid social distance rules they aren't following placing us on a table right next to another family! Took a look at the menu and was very expensive and the food isn't look appealing

Service excellant. Lobster and steak cooked to our liking the only thing was it could of been hotter. I don't get the lettuce though?

It is part of a small chain specializing in steaks. The one at St. Annes is well run. Quality food and good staff. Not the cheapest in the area but the prices reflect the greater quality.

There are non steak items on the menu. Big car park. Smart casual dress is required.

Fantastic service, excellent food and hospitality. Id call this a nice/slightly upmarket style pub/bar restaurant. They have a great selection of drinks and a good variety food menu with something for everyone. Steaks, chicken, fish, vegi options & salads. The staff are very friendly and helpful making the experience thoroughly enjoyable. I asked about the portion sizes (salads usually being a half size dish). The salad was great, chicken nicely cooked. The service time was also short which is impressive for a restaurant of its size. Thanks!

Having been to M&C in Parbold several times, I would say the steak was not as good as Parbold. But still good, 4/5.

Went to miller and carter st annes and the food was lovely but the service was shocking. It was for my partners birthday and we had taken his parent's as we had rated it when it first opened. We waited 25 minutes before we got our drinks and the order was not correct a drink was left off. We were told that there was no draft ales when in fact there was. Food came was lovely but we weren't asked once if we would like any more drinks to go with our meals. We finished our meals and the table was left half cleared with bowls of lettuce wedges left. 15 minutes later we still had not had our table cleared and our waiter had disappeared we were not asked if we would like any desserts because he had disappeared. We decided to go to the front of the restaurant to pay the bill and there was no one on the front desk to ask if we can pay our bill. We then noticed our waiter stood there chatting to a couple who were having drinks in the bar. With this being such an up market restaurant I am sorry but the service was disgusting and unfortunately I won't be recommending this place to anyone and I will tell them about the experience we had.

Food was lovely but I wouldn't say they'd gone the extra mile to make it worth double the price of any other restaurant. A basic menu well cooked and overpriced.

Miller & Carter is a lovely place to visit. Wonderful food, staff very friendly & helpful. My grandson & other Nanny had the steak & I had the chicken, which was beautifully tender & tasty & fell apart. Surroundings beautiful. Will definitely go again.

Fantastic steaks! And Cauliflower cheese is creamy. Make sure you save room for dessert.

Smashing a bit pricey but worth it and would go again .

Even tho the steak was a beautiful piece of meat, sadly it wasn't cooked correctly. I asked for medium and it was still purple inside. The onions that come with it on your plate are really greasy and I couldn't eat. The staff tho are very nice and helpful but I'll be in no rush to go back.

Excellent service if a little slow but then it was Friday evening and v. busy. The prawn starter was a bit lacking in substance but the steak made up for it.

Pleasant surroundings good food well presented ideal for a birthday party

Settled in nicely since they opened. Consistently good food. Waitress was a little snippy when we specified a mocktail (for someone who was pregnant), May have been a bad night for her. Otherwise very good and she mellowed towards the end of the night.

We visited on the 2nd night of opening and expected some glitches, but not so, our table was available half an hour before our appointed time and we had been allocated a fab table for two in the window.

Our waiter was David and he couldn't have been more knowledgeable or accommodating and made our evening that more wonderful when husband asked for apple pie and it was sourced from the lunchtime menu - 10/10!

We ordered starters of duck wings, chicken chipotle and mains of ribeye steaks 12oz and 8oz, all cooked to perfection.

We look forward to our next visit, thanks again all for a wonderful evening.

The staff were brilliant but sadly I wasn't warned that the steaks were pre-season ed with lots of salt. I haven't added salt to meat or vegetables for years so was unable to eat it. I was offered another steak and I accepted it but 20 minutes later my husband and two friends had finished their meals and I didn't want to have to eat on my own si cancelled the steak .

Last minute desicion tonight we're to eat and we was just passing so popped in. WOW Amazing That's what we both said after eating, The food was second to none Brilliant. Delicious food. The Butchers block is a treat fit for a king. 3 different cuts of steak all delicious in their own way. Staff are very friendly too. Can't go wrong here if your a steak lover.

Very poor service, ages to get served.food not good, fish and chips ok but friends chicken salad really poor quality and tasteless . When we complaint no responce nor was the complaint deal with adequately.
