Three stars only for the very responsible manager Mr. Siddhartha. Awful experience! Despite the property is quite good and spacious, the hotels service couldn t be worse. It s just too bad to explain. WiFi didn t work and when we call for that they said it s gonna be ok tomorrow since the daily internet quota is finished TV or phone or key card nothing worked properly. We waited for an hour for a wine opener and the glasses came dirty. I can write forever all the bad things we ve experienced here. Besides breakfast was very poor, coffee machine didn t work and whatever we asked to be solved was never done. They made us wait for an hour in the heat because of door problems. Only thanks to the manager on duty Mr. Siddhartha we got another room and could spend the last days of our New Year holiday properly. As well as we want to thank Ms. Priyanka from the room dining department for her courtesy and trying to help us with any issue even if it wasn t her duty. As a foreigner, I ve asked for C form three times from the check-in moment but never got it, they never answered my request on email as well.

Visited this place for my office conference. They have very large area. Beach is nearby. You can hangout with your friends. But when it comes to food, taste is not good at all. For 500 people i dont think they can prepare tasty food
Our stay was really comfortable. The resort is really beautiful and has its own private beach. Monsoon is the correct whether to visit here very peaceful and relaxing. The staff at front desk and guest relationship are very friendly and ever smiling
Stayed with my mother in January. Although we did not get a room of our choice and even had a bad experience in their sea side shack , the visit was made worth remembering by the exemplary behaviour of staff . Great service and beautiful spacious rooms. Special thanks to Abdul and the entire reception team for giving everything a personal touch.
Steer clear..... Going into their bar on the beach for a casual drink, they will charge you 30% extra on your bill without much warning other than very fine and imprecise print on the bottom of their menu. Very cheeky, particularly when their menu is already overpriced (double what you'd pay anywhere else in the area). There are far nicer places to visit.
Well. In two words, the review can be summed up as - Exceeded Expectations. We've had an awesome experience at the Chandigarh branch, and with that in mind, I booked this property, for my first visit in Goa. Starting from scratch, we were lucky enough to have airport transfers included in our hotel booking, and that whole experience was a charm. We did meet the staff at the designated meeting spot, and were in a cab within no time. The drive was picturesque, winding down South Goa, with the driver sharing interesting tidbits and driving extremely well. The one down side to the property, it is a bit secluded, with nothing worthwhile in the walking distance, but that's the only major gripe we had. Welcome at the resort was exceptional, with courteous staff all around (all the staff that we came across was highly courteous throughout the stay, greeting everytime they crossed and assisting ang going beyond their way for that exceptional service). The welcome drink was tasty, the check in was a breeze and they did let us know the major highlights of our stay. The property is spotless, not a thing out of place, lawns maintained, rooms clean, pool shiny, and to top it off, the beach was the cleanest one till date that I've been too! That includes beating some good beaches from Thailand. Crystal clear waters and not a single bit of mess on the beach (which I observed was always being cleaned in the morning). No bad smells, no stray animals, nothing bad in place. There was a corporate event and a wedding too, but the service level was top notch throughout. Staff at 24 hour restaurant, Canacona were helpful too, especially Poltu, who had attended to us for our stay. In room dining headed by Priyanaka was top notch too, when they managed the portion size according to the number of people dining. There were certain aspects of the property that we still couldn't attend to within our 4 night stay period, since it's massive, like the miniature maze, hill for trekking among others. They include a mini map of the property in the rooms, which is a good guide for places to visit. The activities manager was good with follow ups when we requested for a Sunset Cruise. The Cruise people were nice and understood that I might not fare well for long at sea, took us for a Backwater visit in the Talpona visit before taking us out to the sea for experiencing the magical sunset view. The Golf Pro shop has professionals who did help us amateurs learn about the basics of the game, and how to putt on the greens. The gift shop has some good options for souvenirs. There are also some drinks and also for buffet that change with the days, which did help bring down the food bills for us considerably. Finally, on the day of the checkout, the staff were quick to help us settle the outstanding amount, over various methods of payment, and also get us on time to the airport. All in all, highly recommended place with exceptional property, great staff and great experience for families for sure. Thanks again for reinforcing our trust in your property @TheLalit group.
Wonderful family time at this huge resort, Walk to the private beach with water sports facilities by Lalit staff. Excellent Golf course + a huge swimming pool.
Nice Landscape, well maintained. I hate staff attitude here. They might getting forced by management. Staff need to be more polite and friendly. Here it's other way around. I waited for 20min,just to check-in and get my room keys at the mid night when only one person was at the reception as customer. If you are charging bomb, you need to be better than this. I was disgusted by cab charges. Thay are asking for 4500 for 35km.This is insane.
Awesome Place it is... Was there for a corporate party. Though quite far from Goa airport but they have got their private beach which means you don't really need to be near to North Goa..
This property is about 1-1/2 hr good drive from the Dabolim Airport, at Canancona which is adjoining Karnataka State border. It is a humongous property- rather a Full size Golf Course with a resort attached to it! Rooms were very spacious with enough space for the kids to run around. Pros: A self contained Property, housing a SPA, Jacuzzi, Sports Complex and a humongous swimming pool, a clean and beautiful private beach and all the trappings of a Five star hotel. Cons: Too far from any nearest town or places of interest. So you'd be dependent on the bunch of car rental drivers hanging around the hotel gates to take you around. The staff although friendly, and non intrusive may not necessarily be quickest in their response. There was a lot of renovation work going on at the property. Too much noise and hammering. Every time you come out of the room or near the swimming pool, you will find the painters walking around in their work dress. They had put tarpaulin on the walkways because of the painting work, and a lot of dust had gathered on account of the said work. Wish they had closed down that section until the work had finished. The Food we had was just the breakfast buffet was below average. It was mediocre since the options were limited to the same menu everyday.
The LaLiT Golf & Spa Resort Goa, Raj Baga, Palolem, Canacona, Goa - This resort has become one of my favorite places to stay while on a trip for vacationing in Goa. Located at almost the south-most edge of Goa, though this is far far away from the main attractions, the hotel itself has an private beach attached which is big enough to spend condierable amount of time at. Though private, the beach is very happening, and also offers all kind of fun. The hotel had a beautiful swimming pool area, which in fact has multiple connected pools of variable sizes and depths. The service is awesome in all the places across the hotel. 5-star property with an exclusive beachfront area (1 km long), LaLiT Golf and Spa Resort Goa is known for its Portuguese style architecture, landscaped gardens, and 9-hole Links golf course. Lalit Golf and Spa Resort Goa houses 255 suites and 10 villas. These are equipped with modern amenities such as work desk, electronic safe and tea/coffee maker. Select rooms offer balconies with views of the Golf Course or Arabian Sea. I recommend pool facing rooms, as the sea view rooms are far from the sea and offer only partial sea view.
Resort is amazing, it's beautiful but i guess they lack in hospitality part. People pay premium to choose resorts like Lalit for experience and this is where they lack a little bit. Rest everything is fine, food os also good.
Good infrastructure, but poorly low on service. No warmth from staff, no synergy between various departments, you could see the friction. I was totally surprised to see number of dirty cups, at the breakfast counter to serve coffee. To summarize, not at all cost worth experience, nor memorable one.
Good property. Very far from Goa. Frankly it is not Goa. Do not expect any fun in the area. It is a quiet serene beach property. Good for seclusion, theme weddings etc. Close by place is Palolem beach.
If u really love your car this is the worst place to park your it. The entire parking area no matter where u park your vehicle, it is covered and the staff do not at all help you in this matter. The room that we stayed in had defects too which was brought to the notice of the staff.
I am such a huge fan of Goa, especially its beaches that I visit it twice every year. As a staying option, I prefer and am in love with The Lalit Golf and Spa Resort Goa. Located on the famous Raj Baga beach, it is quite close to the Talpone river and offers splendid views of the Arabian Sea. The place is dripping in luxury with food to die for. From my personal experience, I can say that it is the best hotel in Chandigarh; no one should give a miss.
Beautiful resort, spacious and well maintained. Food is excellent, for the whole week we were there. Staff spoke English well, so it was easy to get services like ironing and laundry and room service.
Grabbed some dinner at their SeaBQ - the 24*7 restaurant. Extremely shoddy service by the servers. While we were having our meal, two different servers came to clear the table. Upon asking whether the place will be shut soon, they shrugged off and said, no, continue eating. It was a terrible experience for us who had come to celebrate a birthday. Will not recommend the place. There were barely four tables that were occupied and all of them complained of the pathetic service. One server in particular called Megha was rude. Terrible dinner experience.
They have been causing a havoc for the environment by constantly accumulating customer trash and burning it on the forest outskirts. This is disgraceful, shame on you :/
Lovely place with a semi private beach... But do note beach facing rooms doing have a great view of the sea. Also maintenance was being carried out on the roof and there was constant banging
They served stale idly, pav bhaji without pav, sambhar was so thick in the breakfast. Lunch and dinners was average quality and taste. Entered the room and found the room was stinking a bit. Went to the balcony and found it dirty. Called instant service for getting it cleaned. Overall property looked old. My experiece was much below my expectation.
A great property, and brilliantly maintained golf course adds to the beauty of the property. Pool is big, even though it felt crowded the nights I spent here (probably because of some conference), though pool didn't have any lights for evening/night. Activities are nice, we tried the ATV and it was a decent track for guests to enjoy, and Omu was helpful to teach my sister. Overall helpful staff and good place to relax!
Excellent hotel. Staff is everywhere and ready to help you with whatever you need. Add to that their friendliness and you get a great experience. King-bed bedroom is very spacious and comes along with a huge bathroom. Sirocco restaurant on first floor has a great ambiance & the food is also great.
Pros: Great staff who did their best to make our experience positive. Review would have been far worse if not for their efforts. I home someone invests more in this team. Also, they have a fantastic pool that is a clear highlight of the property.
Cons: The property feels old and is lacking investment. Rooms are a bit dated and definitely underlit. There are a lack of charging points (basic indicator of an updated room) Food was terrible the first 2 days we were there. The staff made a push after we provided feedback and the breakfast on the last day was solid. But overall their buffet lacks the range, quality and spread of other name-brand hotels.
There is potential here but for some reason the property doesn't live up to it's potential. Not sure if it's lack of investment or direction at the top, but it felt like a mixed experience reflected by a mixed review.
Good place....huge property...but service is bad.....everything takes good amount of time ..( ice bucket/ lemon wedges)....their cortas restaurant is even more hopeless.....they charge but cant give service....me, my family and my friends just had a very bad experience.
Dont waste your money to be at a place like this. Quoting Manager's words"You pay for the room". We pay for the property and amenities, not just the room. You have nothing available here after 8PM. Pool, sports club room etc everything closes. Its no less than a hostel where the warden will come to tuck you inside the room. Better pay for a 3star property, I enjoyed all hotels from the past 5 days except the one where I spent the most.
