Went to see the Friday night movie, the parking could be better organized.

I experience positive Godly vibes from Pastor Joel, Victoria, their family and the Church family as a whole!

I go there seeking God and Only God and God has blessed John Olsteen senior that blessing has been passed on to Joel Osteen and to his entire family which have continued on passing and spreading the good news to the entire world
I have received my prayers answered there it was the message to others God does communicate with you
This new generation has different lifestyles mindsets that the older generation doesn't tolerate or much less approve of but still Lakewood Church has been tolerant understanding compassionate and very helpful towards the entire community which is Houston
You won't be rejected or turned away give it a shot what do you have to lose

The people here are really nice and you feel like family

Great people, nice facility, difficult to park though

Honestly I never been to this church but I don t know why my wife likes it so much. All I know is during hurricane Harvey this guy refused to open his doors to do homeless people and people needing shelter until it was publicized and he felt ashamed of his self. You should have seen the look on his face when the reporter was interviewing him on TV he look like he didn t even want to do what he was doing.

Here helping with disaster relief efforts. Everyone is really great. A church for everyone reaching out to help others.

I watch the service every Saturday and Sunday and I wish to be there one day pastor Joel Ossten is amazing

This is a loving church. The congregation, thr ushers, Pastor Joel Osteen and his wife Victoria are down to earth people. All who go and visit are welcomed and you feel at home. All it takes is 1 visit to want to go back.

I always see his Joel Osteen and Danilo montero shows ... one day I will go to worship God ... well I'm a pianist.

Turned his back on the city, and only started helping when shamed. Look at public spending statements used 1 to 2% to help people and like 20% on adverts.

Best church in the world! Great praise and worship, and great preaching of the Word!

No other church like it on earth! Come out even just once, it will change your life.

When do they plan to reopen the church? I would love to plan a visit in October 2020 for my birthday. I've tried calling but I cant seem to get anyone on the line. I love the message on YouTube live stream & to see it in person will be amazing. I get overwhelmed with joy listening to it at home.. Just imagining actually being there. I cant wait!

Lakewood always good in person, online, or on TV.

I don't think I heard Jesus once. Excellent speaker but no substance. It looks more like American Idol than a church.

Amazing service for children and adults. Every piece of the service has God's hand upon it from praise and worship to prayer with prayer partners and right to the service. It's a wonderful place to come hear the word of God and feel God's presence. I enjoyed it so much that I've been watching the sermons on Lakewood's website. Keep advancing the kingdom and letting the world know who Jesus really is and what He can do!

Osteen is nothing but a greedy money hungry fraud. He lives in a mega mansion and had to be guilted into opening his doors for Victims of the Hurricane...Greed is supposed to be a sin. He makes millions off books and engagements. Why is it better to be a number in a sea of 12,000 when you can be a name and a face in a few 100?
Private jets $100k cars? Million dollar home? This is not the habits of a Christian who lives modest. Jesus would not drive a Rolls and live in Beverly Hills. This guy doesn't preach the word of Jesus he reflects a view that is exactly what's wrong with all organized religion. Greed judgement and hypocrisy. Stay away. Read a bible at home and make up your own mind. It also a nuisance that parishioners park where they shouldn't and cause traffic jams and noise pollution in the surrounding neighborhood where they protested the church buying thw Summit

Pastor Joel is a great man of God - sharing testimonies and encouragement, building up people and building lives for the kingdom of God!

During the darkest days of my life my mom sent me your book titled your best life now there was something on that book that change my life ,my perception ,my heart...Most of your stories were really related to what was going on with me..I can say that u became the instrument of God for me to recover in that point of my life..As of now I am still shaking on my faith but I know as u said I am his favorite so everything will happened in his perfect time..thank u so much sir Osteen and lakewood family God bless us always.

Joel Osteen teaches the false prosperity gospel, not the gospel of Scripture.

On June 12, 2016 Sunday, Pastor Joel's message was titled "Called into the House". It was amazing. It is my story. I am so much encouraged by this sermon.

All the time, there are always something for me in Pastor Joel's message. I am truly blessed attending his church.

I am one of his employees in the Lakewood church bookstore.

Amazing place! So inspiring and empowering. Jesus is the center and all the people, especially Joel and Victoria, are just incredible! Love it!!

I'm from New Zealand, I have been listening to Joel for years and this man has changed my life... I could be in prison or died by now but he encouraged me so much that I'm now save and strong in Christ. I have to turn to critics who come from I don't know hell or somewhere in Satan's arms... Have to ask you, What Joe says that is wrong to you or people? or it is just the hate that you keep carrying in these days that are approaching the end of this Messed up World???? Come and join others who are waiting for The Loving Savior who saves us from evil powers.

Love the atmosphere of this church. I've been attending for 13 years. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I love how the church not only offers services on Sundays, but offers bible studies, prayer meetings, community events, and so much more throughout the week. Great place to get connected to God.

To the people that seem to have time to put negative reviews pertaining to this church, you need God in your life. Keep doing the great job Lakewood leading people to Christ like you did for me. I always enjoy myself hearing praise and worship at Lakewood Church. I started coming back to visit glad I did. You will never be the same never never never in Jesus name. Amen. Update: After giving lots of money and asking for help with the situation I am in. I was turned down. Oh well that big business for you it's a for profit business so I can understand not helping those when it's needed the most. I gave but could not get it back. I am now a non believer and realize that I was just part of a big business called Church and God. Good day all.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is warm. Pastor Joel Osteen took the time to baptize hundreds of people on July 8th including myself.

Lakewood Church is a great church that was started by Joel's father, John Olsteen. However, recently it has been hijacked by John Gray, who is nothing more than an unemployed comedian in search of an audience. Lakewood is not the same. Comedians need audiences. Standup comedy is a dying art form. Why? Because standup comedians needs an audience. John Gray is desperate for an audience, and has infiltrated the heart of Lakewood Church. Gray is methodically, with words of strife and division, splitting the audience, the church when downplays the educated causing them to be loathed by the uneducated. Joel needs to thank him for his contributions and show him the door! TAKE YOUR CHURCH BACK!!!

Amazing and you can feel God is good in this place.

My wife & I recently acquired a new vehicle with XM Satellite radio where we discovered Joel Osteen's channel. We find ourselves drawn to his messages day after day. For those critics who have reported he doesn't preach from the Bible, that is FALSE. I can assure you his messages are inspired by the word of God. He quotes scripture. And relates it to his message. It is about time someone spoke the POSITIVE message of God, and not just fire & brimstone fear.
We plan to make a trip from Michigan to Lakewood church to hear him preach. I have not been inspired by a TV/Radio pastor like this since Billy Graham.

I HAVE BEEN A FAITHFUL MEMBER AND TITHER AT LAKEWOOD CHURCH, AND THE MANNER I WAS TREATED ON 08.02.15 WAS HORRIBLE , DEGRADING, DISRESPECTED , HUMILIATED AND HARASSED BY THE USHER (MR. DENNIS) AND A HISPANIC SECURITY! MR. DENNIS APPROACHED ME IN A VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL MANNER AND TOLD ME I COULDN'T SIT IN THE SEAT I HAVE BEEN SITTING IN FOR YEARS, AND IF I DIDN'T MOVE HE WOULD HAVE SECURITY COME AND ESCORT ME OUT! SECURITY DID COME AND ASK ME TO REMOVE MYSELF OR HE WILL ESCORT ME OUT, I TOLD HIM, SAVE IT, AND I GOT UP AND LEFT! I TRIED CONTACTING THE CHURCH, IMPOSSIBLE AND TO THIS DAY NO ONE HAS EVER CONTACTED ME. I NO LONGER ATTEND THEIR AND I STOPPED PAYING MY TITHE THERE! I REALIZE I AM ONLY A NUMBER TO THEM! THE CHURCH IS BASE ON FAVORITISM AND WHO YOU KNOW!

Great atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Great ushering and sound was awesome. I like how Pastor Joel is actually involved with the service! Most Pastors on his level will sit in a back room until it's time to preach, but he was from row from beginning to end. He even is apart of the one on one prayer team for those that need prayer. Very great worship atmosphere!

My husband and I went there on April 20th 2019 for Easter services. We really enjoyed the service. And we were really moved by the energy and the spirit. I would definitely recommend going to this church.

Also one of Joel's books got our son thru a very hard time because of the positive message that God cares. He read it every day for months with his bible.

Ignorance kills peoples, this works with a good brainwashing, so that later people give their money to enrich Joel Osteen, pastor who has a house of 10 million dollars and a fortune that exceeds it 8 times, the same supposed son of God who did not want to open his doors to those affected by Hurricane Harvey and due to pressure exerted he had to agree at the end of it, I do not get involved in what each person does with their money, but remember, a camel comes easier through the hole of a needle that a millionaire to heaven and like the others Danilo Montero and blah blah blah, beware these men, the true temple of God is your body and you can pray from your house and contribute with what little you have to help others, which these guys don't do, is my opinion.

I've been a member at Lakewood for 1 year now and Pastor Joel and Pastor Grey are the best preachers I've seen in a long time! Pastor Joel is more for loving one another and letting us know that GOD loves us unconditionally. Pastor Grey is a motivation speaker...he makes you get up out your seat and shout Glory to GOD! I love this church. No matter what people say about Joel. The world won't be what it is without Haters. JESUS own people hated on him! Keep up the good work Pastors....I love you both!!!!
