Thank you Lakeland Chrysler ! I had called ahead of time asking about a particular vehicle, made an appointment and really didn t plan on leaving with one that day! However Randy, who was fantastic, found the perfect vehicle for me. He even got the price pretty close to what I had been hoping for. After the process, which was fairly quick and easy! I waited for my car as it was in another lot and during that time everyone made sure I was comfortable. Offering me beverages and snacks. I am truly ecstatic about my car and grateful for this experience. I definitely recommend them!

Was passing thru from PA, 2 dealers in Bradenton/Tampa said they were too busy to take me in their express, 2 others said the wait is heavy and unpredictable today. Saw Lakeland off I-4 enroute Orlando. Found access road in, was greeted cheerfully before I even shut motor off and the relationship stayed that quality from addressing my needs to competitive pricing. Crowded but organized car lot, staff are friendly, knowledgeable and seek answers if they are unsure of something. Would recomend

We came into dealership today and greeted by a sales person who knows nothing about the gladiator. We saw a tan one and her words were so you are looking for a used vehicle. That is a trade in. We had done a lot o research and knew this was a new color that had just come out. We asked to see it and come back that was the general managers demo not a trade in. My husband asked several questions and she knew nothing. We left very disappointed with the sales person and that we needed to go to overflow lot to see the new gladiators.

Not too happy with the process as of now. I dropped my Pacifica off at the service drive with 3 different issues. All warranty issues. I have requested a loaner veh until the repairs are completed. My service rep wants me to pick up the van wait for a part to bring it back then once completed have me take the van to the body shop to have the rust on the hood looked at. This process is very inconvenient for my wife and I. I have not had this experience at other dealerships. As of now I would not recommend this dealership to others.

Went in to check out a car to only find out about ...

Went in to check out a car to only find out about their hidden reconditioning fee ...which was over $2,000 on a car listed for $14,000. Nowhere online was this fee even remotely mentioned. So imagine my surprise when my final price was over $19,000 for a car that was listed at $14,000. What a waste of time. They charge $1000 dealership fee and separate $200 fee for documents which they tell you that the DMV charges, however that is a fee they charge to submit your paperwork to the DMV. Of course separately from the actual cost of tag and title and tax. Staff is not knowledgeable on their inventory and management is rather rude and arrogant. BEWARE OF PLACES LIKE THIS AND DON T WASTE YOUR TIME THINKING THAT YOU WILL GET A REASONABLE DEAL HERE.

Worst service experience. Quoted $12-1400 for complete rebuild of front axle. Then once i take it to them they want $4250 for a new axle. $1200 for a new computer (jeep ran great before taking it in and after getting it home). Dealer kept jeep for 4 days. GM and service manager refuse to return calls back to me. Would never let them touch anything i drive.

I DO NOT like to go to car dealerships! I dreaded coming here BUT, Ricardo was AWESOME!!! We needed a new car and looked on line. We found a car that we wanted to look at. Let me tell you, Ricardo made it soooo easy for us! I ve never dealt with a dealer who was so on top of things like he was!! So very greatful!!! He was So respectful, so accommodating! I would recommend him to anybody and I already have to my girlfriend. It was an hour drive but so very worth it!! If you need a car or looking to buy, please ask for Ricardo Arellaneda! I promise you you will not be disappointed!! Amy was our financial manager and she was awesome as well!! From the start on the phone to the finish at the dealership it was seamless! Take it from someone who can not stand going car shopping this is the place to go and Ricardo is the person to deal with!!

Start off by saying im not trying to be a pain in the butt, But I'm not happy. I've taken my wrangler in twice now for basically the same issue and one week later after my second visit now the wrangler is leaking oil!!! So not only an im unsatisfied with the work done from the dealer im also upset with Chrysler releasing such a horrible motor with nothing but issues. Im going to end up being a huge pain in the butt of some one doesn't step in and fix this. I don't want to worry about how long I have before it breaks down again. I have enough stress in my life already. Looks like the recent mechanic didn't tighten down the cover correctly and is seeping out the back.

They are professionals in their service department I have always been well taken of as well as any of my vehicles wish they would bring back 4 for 40 oil changes. They pick you up as well as take you home if need be I believe within 10 miles or so, coffee is always fresh and free waiting area spotless plus have a kid friendly waiting area.

I brought my Jeep here for routine maintenance - I asked the service advisor to include a detail service. I was told "Saturdays are not good for detailing." I then asked for shuttle service and was denied again. I entered the waiting room and noticed several people, both customers and employees either not wearing a mask or wearing it incorrectly. Due to COVID and the current pandemic - along with the signs on the doors requiring masks, I was completely shocked and extremely uncomfortable. I was forced to wait outside to ensure I was not putting myself in harms way while waiting inside the building. I provided this feedback directly to the dealership and requested that someone reach out to speak about my experience - no one called. Super disappointed and will not be renewing my Jeep lease at Lakeland Jeep.

We drove from Orlando to this dealership to see a truck for our business fleet that they had listed online. While taking a test drive I asked the salesman why this vehicle was priced less than other similar vehicles online. He said it was likely because of different trim levels. Once we got back to the dealership and had decided to possibly purchase the vehicle we discovered that the advertised price of the truck was false. When presented with paperwork there were thousands of dollars added to the price of the vehicle and labeled as fees, which at the end of the day were simply profits for the dealership. This should not be allowed. I would avoid this dealership. We will not be doing business with them ever again.

Very disappointed in this dealership. Worth maybe 1/2 a star rating, MY STORY is that I was inquiring about a focus RS for 1 week, this was before the hurricane IRMA. I got in touch with the sales rep that kept calling me. We negotiated and he said the car is there still available and since I was from out of state EVEN the sales rep was wanting to fly me out but we almost came to terms and advised me he would call me back 6pm my time an send me closer up photos. He never did and I had to email them for THEM TO LET ME KNOW IT WAS SOLE AT AUCTION THAT MORNING I TALKED TO HIM. There either liars or don't know there information enough, not professional dealership in my eyes would not recommend

WASTE OF TIME!

WASTE OF TIME!

I drove over an hour to go see TWO vehicles that were listed for sale on their dealer website. I get to the, "Buisness", and I am greeted by a salesman. We go inside and go over what I'm interested in, which was a Jeep Grand Cherokee. He walked me out to the lot and puts me in front of three Grand Cherokees and says that looks to be all they have but there's another lot down the road. He doesn't tell me ANYTHING about the cars in front of me that I'm looking at; not their price, new/used, year, NOTHING. I then show him the vehicles online that I wanted to see and we go to the other lot to look for them with no luck.

Back to the dealership we go and I give him the stock numbers. He leaves for about 20 minutes then comes back to the table with a finance guy who again goes over the sheet with me about what I'm looking for. Before the finance guy leaves the table he asks me how the salesman was doing (as he was sitting across from me), which I thought was extremely unprofessional.

The finance guy leaves and comes back about 15 minutes later and tries to go over what I'm interested AGAIN. He finally tells me the vehicles that were listed on their website are no longer available and I leave after having wasted three hours of my life.

The next day I get an email from an online sales manager basically asking if I was still interested in the Jeep Grand Cherokee (oh, the one you don't even have?). I emailed her back telling her about my horrible experience and she said she would forward that information on to a manager. Here we are about four days later and I have to hear from a manager.

Worst service and dealership.

To the owner's reply about, "Selling your vehicles faster than you update your website", it's 2018 and a majority of people do their shopping ONLINE... why would you not update your websites as quickly as possible?

**Just a side note, I visited your, "Dealership", on Monday. It's now Friday and both vehicles are STILL listed on your website for sale and you are now the fourth employee to be aware about it; who knows how long they have actually been sold at this point.

We just got a response to take down our negative post. I will once someone will explain whos pays the interest on the loan for the last month of you having funding and not paying off the loan? And why it took over a month to pay off the trade in vehicle?

now in the 2016 I heard this lakeland jeep... dealership was own or manage by the same people of Orlando airport jeep ( I trade my 2005 TJ for a 2015 jku with them and the service was really good).. however everything was different with this people . I saw a 2016 rubicon and I have a 2015 rubicon.. with accesories ( I know you might be aware the accesories will not add much money to your vehicle.. but there is always an effort of the dealership to try to give you the best price they can afford.. and my jeep has a AEV suspension and jeep dealerships around the country will charge you around 3000 dollars for the jeep lift.. things like this will not only make your jeep look good but if you offroad you will need those extra inches. ) however they didn't even look at my jeep. They just grab the VIN number and close the door.



Well we go inside and Then they just put on the table and offer of 36000 thousand. And I told him is a Rubicon with 9200 miles.. basically new and with a lift that jeep dealerships around the country charge customer thousand of dollars for it. I was not expecting to get all the money for it but at least something and there answer was the computer value your jeep at 36 and we can't give you more.. ( you are delaing with people not machines.so dont pretend you are machine ) and I asked him how much I would need to pay for those 2 ones. And he told me 2500 plus al the dealer ships fees.. for the cheaper one and 4500 plus the dealer ship fees. And I told him that my jeep was impecable .. practically new..with seat covers .. light bar with switches in the left side of the dash perfectly install and by professional.. CB radio mounted with a center headconsole.. LED headlights lights and led tail lights. And the manager said 36 is all we can give.. right there in went on their only page and I saw they are selling a jeep 2015 WRANGLER with 20000 miles for 36 thousand ( the same price they are giving me for a rubicon .. and I look at this and left. Because I know this guy's are not only trying to make money with what they are selling but also making a crazy amount of profit with your vehicle.
So I left.
I got an email and a call. The next day.. and I told the girl that I have no complaints about the sales guy but the manager need to go to school and learn something about customer relationship and marketing. But then the sales guy send me an email and he said that he will be there for me when I need him .. so I thought it was nice.. I did speak well about him on the call. So I told him hey I still like 2 black Rubicons ask your manager how much he will give me for mine again. And he came back with same answer. .. so I went online took a screenshot of the price and ask him how much was the Rubicon with the hard Rock bumpers Internet price.. and he came back with a different price 300 dollars more and then I remember that the same thing happens that day and I went visit the dealership. Same jeep diferentes price.hi

The worst car buying experience I've ever had was ...

The worst car buying experience I've ever had was recently at Lakeland Dodge. The lack of ethics and total incompetence over there is the type of stuff usually only seen in the arena of politicians.

Here's the rundown:

- On the final round of paperwork, after being there for hours on a Saturday, they slipped in an expensive car care plan that they never even mentioned to me nor gave me the paperwork for. Granted, part of this is my fault for not going through every single line of every round of negotiations and paperwork after being there so long. But nonetheless, they did me dirty on this one. Because they gave me no paperwork on it and never mentioned it, this was a service plan I would have never even used, known about, or been able to use.

- I noticed that there were errors with the way they wrote my address on the financing paperwork. I twice mentioned this to the finance guy (Kyle), and both times he assured me he was correcting it when submitting it. Weeks passed and I had still not gotten anything in the mail, so I had to spend part of an afternoon on hold and being transferred around at the bank that financed my car to get this sorted out. Of course they had never bothered to correct it and the corresponding mail never made it to me.

- For whatever reason, the car didn't have a second key (used vehicle), so the dealership had to make one. The person who handles this wasn't going to be in for a couple days, so my salesman told me that they would make the key and mail it to me and I would have it within a week. A week and a half passed, and no key in the mail. After calling them again, turns out I have to bring my car back in for it to be done. They are over an hour away. Had I not already paid for it I would have just done it closer to home and for way less.

- I bought wheel lock lug nuts for the vehicle, which I had to buy from the parts department then bring to the service department to be put on. When picking my car up, the service department attempted to charge me again for the parts which were already paid for. Perhaps this was an accident and they forgot that I specifically told them and handed them paid-for parts and requested that they note this, but still worth mentioning.

- It should also be noted that the prices they list for their used vehicles on AutoTrader are deceptive. The large number that you would think is the price is not the actual price. The actual price is in tiny print at the bottom of the listing. I was a fool for not leaving after that realization, but they had the specific model, trim level, year and color I was looking for.

- When going back in to get the expensive surprise service plan cancelled, a different finance guy tried to talk me out of it! After refusing it, he then told me that they needed my account number from the bank they financed me through, and that because it hadn't been long the bank wouldn't have an account number for me yet and he probably couldn't cancel it. I finally dealt with a 3rd finance guy who was actually helpful and got the situation resolved.

- After nearly a month had passed, I got a 2nd registration and license plate for the car in the mail. I already had this taken care of when I purchased the car and they transferred my existing plates and gave me the corresponding registration. I then had 2 different registrations and 2 different plates for the car for weeks after that while trying to get this sorted out. And of course, the 2nd registration had a new typo in the address. The title/reg employee who was helping me first said they were transferring to a new system over there and to give her a few days. I called again, then she needed a few days to deal with the DMV. I called again a few days later, and she said because the holidays were happening that she couldn't do much right then. I waited until after the holidays, and still nothing. So I called yet again after not hearing anything nor getting anything in the mail, and she's on vacation until the following week and left no notes on my situation. Eventually resolved, but what a hassle.

I am so happy with the service I received at Lakeland Dodge. Everyone was so nice and my salesperson Kayla was amazing. She took the time to explain the truck and all it s features. She was kind and caring and listened to all my concerns. She also explained all the paperwork before I signed them. She is a great salesperson; and I would highly recommend her. I know he worked really, really hard to get me approved at a good rate and for that I am very grateful; and Al in finance did a great job finalizing the deal and explained the warranty and answered all my questions. The peolle here are great!

The peolle here are great!
My issues are with the vehicle. Though great service goes a long way, bringing a brand new 2018 Dodge that has less than 7000 miles in for repairs 6 times is frustrating.

The great service earned all 3 stars. It would be 5 if it wasn't for the issues caused by the vehicle itself.

Their internet deals are the best around and you won't have to dicker on your trade. Know what your trade is worth and I have no doubt you'll be pleasantly surprised. Ask for Amanda or Eddie. Our sales person was very nice, helpful and respectful. However they apparently had a "wear your jersey to work-day ". They looked very unprofessional, some salesperson looked like shoppers at walmart. I am sure they did not mind not wearing their uniform, but it bothered me as a customer.

I don't normally write reviews but I feel like I need to let others know about my poor experience. I called Lakeland CDJR to confirm pricing on a custom Jeep Sahara order. After receiving a follow-up call, I spoke with Tyler, one of the managers at the dealership. Over the phone we confirmed that they could do the price, and after some negotiation they gave me a fair offer on my trade-in. We scheduled an appointment for me to come in and I asked Tyler to email me the breakdown of all the numbers so I can be prepared when I come in.

I scheduled to drive the 80 miles to the dealership the next morning. Unfortunately I did not receive any email with the numbers as they agreed. In addition, my calls and texts were being ignored (I texted Tyler the evening before, he read my message but didn't bother responding). The next morning a sales assistant called and asked if I was still coming in. I told her no one was emailing me or returning my calls, she apologized and said a manager or the GM would call me. No calls or texts now 2 days later.

I don't understand this dealership, my only thought is they were planning some sort of bait and switch and didn't want to disclose the numbers until I was at the dealership, which would be a 160 mile round trip. Total waste of time and very unprofessional follow-up and communication. This is not how you conduct business and now the dealership has ANOTHER negative review on Google in addition to the Jeep Forums. Please treat your customers (or potential customers) with courtesy and professionalism.

For those potential customers reading this review, there are lots of other good dealerships in Florida - call around I'm sure they'll be happy to follow-up and earn your business.

If I could leave less stars, I would. Despite the reviews here, I went to purchase a vehicle for my son. Purchase went "ok" other than the added fees that are excessive and not advertised. Ended up purchasing a vehicle, BUT it has been 6 weeks and I still have no tag and have called a dozen times and have yet to get anyone on the phone to find out what is going on with the tag. No one here returns call, so don't bother. I don't live close, so I guess I am going to have to go there and do what is necessary. Very poor customer service. Will never purchase here again.
