I don't find possible to be disappointed by this place. Everything is perfect: the service, the food, the rooms, and the surrounding. There are many place to read, to relax, and to enjoy the rajistani culture. In particular, i was surprised by the service. The staff is not good.. is excellent! They remember everything about you from the first time and they are incredibly professional and friendly. The feeling is really to be a maharaja!

The Lake Palace is a truly unique experience. You arrive in a small boat, like an Indian vaporetto, amazing. You step off onto the jetty to enter a world of beauty and flawless service.
The food is great and any type of cuisine is catered for. If I have a criticism, it's do with the dress of some of the guests, who think they're on the beach in Miami or Ibiza.
For breakfast they will prepare anything from Bircher muesli or papya
to bacon and eggs and watermelon, in fact anything you want! In short the entire experience was memorable.

Great hotel. Beautiful location. Breakfasts and tasty meals. Service a bit long.

Old summer palace of the Maharaja. For me, one of the best hotels in the world. Top service, every wish is fulfilled, beautiful grounds, romantic and much more! I've been there 3x and performance was great! Thank you for everything!

Stunning heritage palace hotel built in the middle of the lake. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Stunning views all around very peaceful dont feel like stepping out of the hotel. Each room is very different with terraces!! The food was exquisite and very well presented. Each dining experience was out of the world. Small details like Bfast had soaked almonds a healthy tradition that mothers follow in India.

The way your security guards treated Bald and Harold was disrespectful.
Never going to this place.

Most luxurious palace in India. Perfect place to stay in the heart of city. Is very convenient for every tourist for many reasons, hear by shipping center food corner as well as easy to approach, the rooms are well maintain and equipped with modern facilities @

Sad just called for an enquiry to stay over was refused that child above 12 not allowed to share room with parents... as per policy of the Taj .. really surprised... the person wasn't ready to hear further too sadly..

TAJ and Lake Palace make you feel truly like a King and Queen right from the royal welcome of rose petals to the specially designed rooms, takes you back to the 250 year history of the palace. The staff is exceptional and make us feel absolutely special. The attention to detail is fantastic. Highly recommend everyone to enjoy the true Taj Hospitality at this place of history.

The Taj lake place is located in the middle of Pichhola lake Udaipur. This hotel is very nice and amazing Land mark hotel in Udaipur.This is awesome lovely upscale and romantic place .Lake Place was built by Maharana Jagat Singh in 1743 . This place is also called Jag Niwas is now a Taj lake Place Udaipur.

Excellent restaurant, wide variety of food, the Indian dishes were fantastic, the waiter Kishan Jhala is very friendly and professional, very recommended!!!

an amazing royal expierience for the whole family. This is my 3rd visit to the lake palace as we are truly treated like kings. Apon arrival we are treated with a choose of a complientary drink and access to the ground facilities as we had arrived early before check in was due. The Duty manager Lokendra Rathore ensured that every need was satisfied upon request i would recommend a promotion for his dedication to the hotel and high performance rate.The resturants where amazing with a wide range of food. the entertainment was a traditonal dance which capivated the guests. my son normally can not handle spicy food but the food was tailored to his requirements.

Security here is rude and unpleasant to deal with; they assume themselves to be the owners of the place. Dissapointing.

A place that is very luxurious and peaceful . Accessible only to resident guests. No outsiders are allowed. Sophisticated clientele. Extremely courteous staff who will treat you royally, all the time. Food is amazing. View is stunning. The whole experience is mesmerizing. Perfect place to celebrate special events of your life.

Hotel Taj Palace, originally this palace was constructed by Maharaja Jagat Singh ji second in 1746,which was known as Pleasure Palace of Maharaja"s in Udaipur. It is beautifully constructed in the middle of Lake Pichola and one can go or come by boat only. Beside than boat no way to approach this palace. Now this place is converted in Luxurious Hotel.Though I could not visit due to shortage of time but definitely like to visit beautiful Hotel/Palace next time.

If u want to travel back in time and know what it feels like to be a royalty then Taj Lake Palace is ur perfect destination. The welcoming ceremony is so classic and royal that no words can describe the feeling. The journey from the bank of the lake to the the room itself is worth experiencing. The staff,food and ambience get "double" thumbs up from me. Even waking up is an enriching experience as u wake hearing the melodious sound of flute. With such a start u r sure to have a beautiful day.The evening show featuring the traditional Rajasthani dance and music will surely put u in a trance and u will love it. This place proves that Taj is a legacy and not just another group of hotels!
