Lake Palace Hotels, Udaipur Review

Got yelled at by security when tried to swim across the lake to the hotel so cancelled my stay there

This is the second time we have stayed at the Lake Palace and always the same welcome and the same attentions. The arrival by boat is still beautiful, the hotel is gradually approaching us, allows us to discover it in all its splendor of a bright whiteness. Impeccable staff and caring for the residents. The Indian gourmet restaurant is fabulous. Very nice decoration of the restaurant room. An animation presenting the dances and music of Rajasthan every night. We opted for the boat trip offered by the hotel, beautiful service with tasting champagne "Chandon" special vintage Lake Palace accompanied by cashew nuts. The swimming pool of the hotel has been enlarged. A beautiful spa with massages and other treatments. I have no more words to make you love this palace.

Not good experience for us. AC was non functional, they kept shifting us from room to room & spoil our whole night. Never forget.

Highlights: The Lake Palace is one of the most exclusive hotels ever and was one of the highlights on my trip to India. The location in the middle of the lake is overwhelming. As in a fairy tale. The rooms are equipped with everything a prince charming or princess needs. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. Lowlights: There is nothing wrong with the hotel. The contrast between the surrounding poverty and the luxury of Lake Palace made me think. Conclusion: a great experience!

Excellent hotel in the middle of Lake Pichola Great food amazing service

Amazing place to be in the mid of the lake pichola, amazing ambience of the hotel Tak palace, good and polite staff, amazing food served.

Good view it is situated at inside a Pichola Lake You can see this palace from city palace as well as amrai ghat....

It's a beautiful and clean place, but apparently you can't approach the hotel directly. The staff is quite rude.

We enter that there are statues there are also old clothes in the palace is great it is a very big tour very hot there paintings there are many stories there are many passages there are showcases there are windows there is a lot of variety to see in that big palace very nice

We stayed 2 nights, 31st Sept, fantastic, great food and service, a lovely 2 nights of getting away from the hustle and bustle of a busy tour and experiencing real relaxation while still enjoying the Indian culture. Credit to management and staff for the very enjoyable stay and top notch very elegant Hotel.

The flooring of the palace is done with black and white marbles with its walls being adorned by colorful arabesques in their best forms. This island played an important role during the mutiny of 1847, as it provided shelter to several European families who fled from Nimach tree of biggest Rajasthan I can't believe this looking for place nearby Taj Lake place this place looking for very amazing however this place centre point of Lake Central build quality building building this place near by lake Taj Lake Central point water resources is very beautiful looking and very famous place I can't believe you really really oh my god amazing..

Magnificent palace .. Extremely Royal! Awesome place to stay in, An experience of lifetime. Very well behaved staffs and great amenities in the room. Food was delicious. A must place to visit. The view of lake is breathtaking , the ambience, interiors, food and staff everything was just perfect.The experience here is beyond expectations.

It is only for residents guest i mean everybody can't go in hotel purpose for visiting.

We had a family vacation here 2 weeks back....the stay was absolutely amazing. The hotel staff needs a special mention - they take care of everything right from the pick up to the final drop back to the airport. They are extremely courteous and seamlessly resolve any issue that you might face- they ensure you get back more than what you ask for- and make the entire experience absolutely delightful. It was truly a memorable stay- would recommend positively. The location is one of a kind...and magical!
