One of the rare gems to visit. You feel proud of oldest surviving dynasty on earth. Cheapest price for a Royal stay. If you take complimentary walk through the palace you will know why India is called a Golden Bird and not a poor country as many believe. I think it may be a toughest task for even richest of rich to make and maintain such property today. This is the cheapest and value for money even if you spend a night at this place. Great location, ambience, Royal treatment and what not at less than 500 $ US starting. History of this dynasty is not only spotless but also ruled and died with dignity. To best of my knowledge even enemies respected their self pride and bravery. At this age If life allows will like to visit again. AMEN.

It is a luxurious place, very costly not affordable to all.

This is only an island which is delivering great hospitality along with historical value. A palace of 1745-46 A.D. by King Jagat Singh. A summer House of them. Now this is belonging to The Taj group of hotel's.

Excellent hospitality , the care they take for minute things, even the food was awesome, admin Simran surprised us with cookies in our room.I liked that gesture .Even the chef Chhotelal Ji & Anup ji surprised us with their signature dishes. Simply awesome taste. All the small moments care concern surprises and gesture made our this trip a picture perfect memory to cherish forever.

These are the perfect adjectives to define this beautiful 280 year old palace which stand in the middle of lake with it's breathtaking beautiful 360 degree views and rooms that you never wanna leave. The restaurants serves the best Rajasthani and international cousines and wines. The people here are friendly, welcoming and very professional and always smiling and ready to help. The view from the terrace is amazing. The gardens and the shows in the evening are beautiful. Romantic and cozy, this place is everything and more....

Two words. Class apart. This palace is breath-taking. Very friendly and professional staff that caters to all your need. The room I stayed had an awesome view outside. Cleanliness can be improved a bit more, although the maintenance is about fine.

The two jerks Herald Baldr are just getting unnecessary fame for posing a security threat to a world famous property. The security of the hotel dealt with them most aptly.

Phenomenal service. A once in a lifetime experience to truly see what it was like to live in an actual (well maintained) Maharana palace. Must do!

Spectacular Ambience and matchless hospitality are the very first impressions that come into my mind when I hear the name of Taj lake palace, Udaipur . If you're looking for a place where you can have the most luxurious & regal experience of your life and budget or money isn't an issue then this is the appropriate place for you.

Wonderful food and drinks, astonishing view on Udaipur's old palaces.

The Palace which is now a Hotel resort is situated in Pichola lake. The Palace can be seen from the city Palace. The view around the Palace is wonderful. Small hills surround the lake along with many luxury hotels and resorts of Udaipur.

They are rude people not friendly won't recommend anyone to stay as one of my friend went there and experienced rude behaviour.
