The parking is easily accessible. The staff are friendly and well mannered, even with noisy children around. There's plenty to see and do and the cafe is quite accommodating for weary travellers.

Quite a lot of local coastal information.

Quite a lot of local coastal information.
Children always enjoy the tanks and there is a find the fish exercise to complete on the way round. Small seaside town attraction. Free crazy golf, again great for the children. Plenty of parking, reasonable entrance fees, friendly and informative staff.

I visited the aquarium and cafe today with a disabled lady who I care for. I found the staff very helpful and friendly. They lent me a wheelchair and were very kind.

After we had been around the aquarium, we had sandwiches in the cafe and the lovely waitress boxed up our unfinished food for us which was so thoughtful. Highly recommended.

Great place to see the local sea life of the Solway Estuary, opportunities to join in feeding and educational activities for the kids. Lots of parking outside, wheelchair accessible. Good cafe inside. Worth a visit.

A really wonderful attraction. Maryport is a fantastic place to visit! Firstly it s beautiful.

Clip and climb is brilliant.

The maritime museum is interesting.

The Roman fort and museum is excellent.

But the Aquarium is the jewel in the crown. I ve been going for years, I love it as do the family.

The exhibits are fascinating, you can just float around and observe or you can full on learn! The talks are interesting and entertaining. The fish are well looked after, healthy and seem happy.

The Ray pool is amazing.

It s a great place to eat or have a snack with amazing views over the harbour and solway to the Hills of Galloway and Criffle.

The staff are very friendly, and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble.

I actually go there to buy fishing tackle. I love aquatic life and rate this as the best aquarium I ve been to.

A lovely aquarium focussing primarily on Solway species. Taking you from the river to estuary to sea. Lots of details, fantastic staff helpful enthusiastic and informative. They are working on restocking lobsters. Great couple of hours and nice cafe too.

It's a nice little aquarium, full of lots of interesting aquatic life.
There is a cafe overlooking the harbour, gift shop, mini golf and children's play park on site for when you've had enough looking at tanks.
Good place to take children, young and old.

It's ok, but not the best aquarium I've visited by some way. It's on a par with several other smaller coastal aquarium's in the UK. However I think for the experience which is about 1 hour it is overpriced. For the family ticket 2 plus 2 More

My son had a great time, he especially loved the Ray Pool.
Had been before so knew not too eat here, found a fantastic pub just round the corner for lunch.
There's a decent park outside if the weather's good.
The Aquarium is fine, small but with lots of interesting marine life, just feel there is something missing.

Nice place, well looked after fish, educational displays, good social distancing measures at the start and masks are required, though people tend to crowd together very close in some areas such as the ray tank.

Well stocked aquarium, great array of species, knowledgeable staff giving talks at feeding time at the shark and ray tank. Interesting hatchery, where you can see baby rays, sea horses and sharks.

Popped in for some lunch before going to clip n climb. Great cafe with lots of options. I had a baked potato and prawns, properly oven baked potato with a generous filling. Staff were very friendly and the food came quickly despite it being good busy.

After reading a few not so good reviews, it was a rainy day so we gave it a go. You know what, it's not brilliant. We dragged it out a couple hours. You know what for the kids, it's absolutely brilliant! So much so we popped back in using our all day ticket and staff were so welcoming, friendly and informative!
