A summer favorite. Tons of rides for all ages. Eve...
A summer favorite. Tons of rides for all ages. Even family friendly rides. Water park is also included in the pass.
A summer favorite. Tons of rides for all ages. Even family friendly rides. Water park is also included in the pass.
Lovely views, nice staff, fun rides. A bit overpriced, though.
Very fun, long wait for the main attraction cannibal, but otherwise great.
Really good and friendly place and good food just have the money to pay for things
Best thi g utah haves to offer from insain rides to fun water rafting!!
Our family has enjoyed every minute of this diverse amusement park. They literally welcome everyone. We love the rides, the entertainment, the historical museums and collections, Lagoon a Beach and Frightmares. Our only sadness is that Lagoon isn't opened year round. Lagoon cover the rides you need to cover and join the world of indoor friendly amusement parks which are open 365 days a year. You want to make more money??? You're welcome.
Season pass holder, we have a lot of fun here with our kids. They could work on line control for some rides, and on keeping rides open, but I guess that's probably a challenge at any amusement park. The food is way too expensive but they allow you to bring your own.
My mom wanted to take my siblings to enjoy the day there. My mom however can not ride roller coasters she just wanted to watch them. Anyways, they wouldn t let her enter without having to pay $70 even though she wasn t going to ride any rides. That s pretty messed up !
Instructions were clear on how to s. D. Lines were short, staff was helpful and masks were available to a limit
They seem to be improving the park a lot, very clean!
Went for my first time, I noticed it was very well maintained, the rides are insanely scary. Worth it!
Cost too much for place that has hardly any new rides however the price of ticket have been going up every year.
Loved Lagoon, hated Lagoons beach but to be fair it was people not watching their kids that ruined it
STOP ABUSING ANIMALS.
Parking sucks, rides are outdated and lame. Food prices are TERRIBLE, the lines are too long and parking is so damn expensive when we are already paying for entrance into the park PER FAMILY MEMBER
I have been going to lagoon since a very young age and it keeps getting better each year!! I m sure pretty much everyone in Utah has been here at least once in there life and they keep coming back because it s so great!!! The park is always kept clean and always friendly staff! They keep updating the park with bigger and better rides and I can t wait to see what the do next!! Also Frightmares is my most looked forward to event for fall!! This park is great for all age groups and has something that everyone will enjoy!! Love Lagoon so much!
We had a great time! My kids loved the kids rides. Only bummer was that it was hot and Rattle Snake Rapids and cliff hanger were closed. The two rides to get wet!
Still as great as I remember it from 30 years ago. Tons of shade and places to relax and a great mix of intense rides. They have done an excellent job of getting good "medium" size rides for those with kids that are still not ready for the big rides. Very clean and welcoming. Definitely getting season passes next year.
There is so many beautiful trees for shade. Waiting in the reasonable lines was pleasant.
Was quite enjoyable, majority of the amusement park is aimed and dedicated to children or young families. However, all ages will find an enjoyable time, definitely would recommend.
I love lagoon and all it has to offer! Go there every summer and wouldn't change anything but, food prices are too high.
Season passes are definitely nice if you can afford it. It's nice to be able to relax and not rush through
It was fun and because it was closed to the public because it was senior sneak day we didn't have to wait long in the lines to ride the rides. I think it is stupid that you have to pay just to get into the park and walk around with the family and friends.
Went a few times as a kid and now that I'm older and more financially sound it's an absolute blast for a date
Shout out to ma boi 'Shadow,' the best haunter there is! The man is top notch at his job of scaring, but he also has the best customer service I've ever seen at lagoon!
I had a friend that was having a rough day, and after attempting to scare her, he realized she was struggling and took the time to talk with us and offered to help and gave emotional support. He ensured she and we were ok, gave a smile and some kind words, and went back to performing with excellent acting skills!
Fantastic man!
Awesome amenities, great rides!! Remember to always look for coupon on their website!!!
Great amusement park! They allow you to bring your own cooker of food and picnic in the back area. They have a dated system of needing to show a hand stamp for each ride you go on.
A great family park! Very quick ride operations on most rides. Most rides/rollercoasters have a single rider line. It can be hit or miss as large groups will hop in the single rider line and it causes a build up.There are no switchbacks so the lines look long but they really aren't. The foos is the most inexpensive I have seen at any park. I had a burger, onion rings, and a drink for less than $8. The backdrop of the park is absolutley beautiful. The mountains sitting behind the park are gorgeous. This is a big family park though, only a few rides that are really for thrill seekers.
Lagoon is definitely the best amusement park in Utah. But comparatively to a six flags, it gets 3 stars. If you will go more than twice a year, a season pass is worth it. Lagoon does Frightmares which gives the park a cool atmosphere. But again, lagoon falls short. During frighmares they offer fast passes to the haunted houses; lagoon always lets fast pass holders on without wait time leaving everyone else in line to wait for hours. They need to developers a system to please both sides.
Overall a fun environment. Could probably spend a full day here but past that it could get boring.
An annual trip for our huge group of adults! We rent the campsite next door and just have a great weekend! Frightmares is our favorite time to go. The park is clean, the food is good, the rides are awesome - what more could you ask for??
Enjoyed the local amusement park. Great rides. Lines were not unmanageable. Cannibal did have some issues causing delays, but those were ultimately taken care of.
Fun for all ages (even my 20 month baby)! I love that they let you take food in! I will def be back with my growing family many, many times!
Love the rides. food is great. Camping area was well designed. LOVE IT!!!
PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE 30+ minute wait. Such a joke. Invest in fixing the overflow parking and training people how to direct traffic. The park itself is a lot of fun though. Avoid Friday and Saturday if at all possible.
Over priced, average quality food, average wait time, typicall themed park
Fun place to bring the kids. Lots to due and the staff is friendly. Food is not so great and the prices are high. Typical to other parks though.
A lot of things to do, water park, pioneer museum, a good variety of rides, places to picnic.
I love it here! The rides are very fun, it's not dirty, and the workers are nice, too. Only downside is the little zoo part. I wish they would get rid of that, the places where the animals are kept are so small and I don't think the animals are happy. Other than that it's a great place to visit!
Was closed we needed to use the RV Park it was closed there was one RV part we drove through the park could not find a Dropbox or anything very disappointed had to go spend the night in the Walmart parking lot.
Lots and lots to do for all ages. The rides are well maintained, although the roller coaster could use a fresh coat of paint. Long lines, but the thrills are worth the wait.
Terribly overpriced, so many young children working there, and their zoo is shameful. I don t know how they keep it open. I ll never return until that zoo is closed.
It has tons of rides for all ages! The lines never get too long especially on weekdays. One of the best amusement parks I've ever been to.
Lagoon is truly a great amusement park that I think is often overlooked.
It may not have the same name recognition as other large parks, but they have great rides for all ages and they are also very family friendly.
Because the park has been around for so long, there are tons of shade trees, plus the park has at least a dozen covered pavilions where you can eat lunch in the shade. And they even allow you to bring in food and coolers. (no glass bottles). Yes, you heard me right, although there are restaurants in the park, you can bring in your own food as well.
The past few years have brought some world class rides to the park. If you are local, season passports are a great deal, but if you only go once in the summer I highly recommend getting there right when the park opens (11am I think) and staying all the way to closing time (10pm), there will be no shortage of things to do.
It is super fun and one of the best places to go to.
Been going here my whole life and now my daughter also loves it. It's great, like I remember.
Such a fun park! The roller coasters are brilliant. Our favorite part was gettinf our western pictures taken in pioneer village.
Lagoons has a lot of nostalgic and fun memories for me. I ve grown up going to lagoon and have loved to see the huge expansions and changes they have made to the park. They ve come a long way! It is one of the best places in the state to visit and a very family friendly environment. There aren t a whole ton of big attractions so the rides you want to ride may have long wait times, even if they re not overly impressive. The cannibal is probably the biggest exception to that. It s an incredible ride that is unique and exciting!
Even when I make myself sick from the rides. I love lagoon! Memories from childhood to adulthood all 100% amazing.
Historic Utah theme park that offers a lot of fun for kids of all ages. All the thrilling rides and games one can imagine. Several food options throughout the park. Pioneer village is especially fun to visit. There's a train ride, ferris wheel, water park, and plenty of pavilions for family picnics and such. Season passes are also available for a reasonable price. Pay for parking. Great family park.
I love this place. We get season passes every year and use the heck out of it. I especially enjoy Frightmares when it's cooler and decorated for Halloween!
The park as a whole was a great place to take my family for a fun filled day. The reason for 4 stars over 5 was it was never communicated at the front gate the hours of operations from getting our stamps or from the ticket booth. We had specifically asked the stamp attendant if our pass was good for lagoon beach and she had stayed yes it was. We rode rides and went about our day thinking we had more than enough time to get to the water park portion. Upon taking a break about 630pm to eat some dinner and grab our swimming stuff we headed back into the park. When we arrived it was 730pm and the water park was closing. It would be greatly beneficial if the hours of the beach could be told to patrons as they enter the park for better planning of their day.
I just had the best time of my life. My people it was pouring rain and we still couldn't quit. The Cannibal was amazing. I can't wait to go back there again. No lines hardly at all and definitely recommend buying fast pass through haunted houses. THOSE were the only line's but we didn't have to wait in those either. Yippee
I LOVE Lagoon, but man oh man, they're over capacity. We went last Saturday and, in the three hours we were at the park, rode two rides. We left halfway through waiting in line for our third. It's a bummer, because a lot of the rides are fantastic Wicked, Cannibal, Spider, Colossus, etc. I wish they'd cap the number of people they let in; I'd rather get turned down at the gate than pay $70 a ticket for what we experienced.
Best place in Utah I recommend it to everyone a great place for dates or family outing skycoaster is my favorite it got rid of my fear of highta
I've loved Lagoon since I was a child and love taking my family now! We often get season passes and go frequently during the summer. The rides are maintained well, most of the staff are friendly and helpful, and there is such a variety there is something for everyone!
My family loves to bring lunch with us and then buy dinner at the park. I highly suggest the corn on the cob at the BBQ place in pioneer village! We love looking at all of the collections in pioneer village, swimming Laguna Beach, and of course riding all the rides. We will continue coming here for years to come!
Still has some fun stuff, but really, really needs a makeover. Fix those rough areas that hurt your feet in the pools and lazy river, and make the water less... arctic feeling. Turn back on the waterfalls in the pool area too please.
Lagoon is a great mixture of ride types with some old school features. They have some rides you find at fairs, some classic roller coasters, some unique features/rides and some completely fresh coasters (Cannibal I'm looking at you). To boot there is a water park that is include with the park so be sure to prepare if going. The food selection ranges from Subway, Arby's, to fair type food, to some really great gourmet burgers. Over all it has something for everyone. The older part of Lagoon has a carnival/fair feel that might not appeal at the start but when you see all of the park it becomes a particular kind of quaint. At $65 for regular ticket it is not a cheap activity but it has enough to do to fill up your whole day.
Crowded; slow lines; full parking lots. Avoid Saturdays. Fun for kids 6-12.
Loved this place but you need to reserve a ticket but this is even better because the park is not crowded and more enjoyable
Aweso.e rollercoasters AZ and tons of stuff for the little ones
Been 14 years since I last went to this place. I had forgotten how fun it is. It's even better with the addition of Cannibal and Wicked.
Great place for family of all ages, all the levels of easy to advanced thrill seekers,. You can bring in food drink and alcohol too
What a great summer at lagoon. We did lagoon-a-beach and it was super fun. Tube rides were the best.
me and my friends went and we had a fun time but the staff there is very rude. i don t know if it is with the heat or the masks i don t know but they where screaming at us to get in certain lines. and where just very mean, and it was embarrassing having to get on a ride and be yelled at because i was either in the wrong spot or something. the staff could work on their attitude. some rides where fine but others acted like they hated their jobs if you do then leave! other than that the food is amazing and the rides are very fun.
Classic American amusement park. They have at least10 roller coasters including a classic wood coaster. The old west village is really well done. Great family outing you can even bring in your own picnic.
Loved the 15% capacity they are running. Wait for rides was very short. Must wear mask to get into park and in all line queues. Don't have to wear on rides or walking around in the park. Their water park was open as well. Had a blast, they are very cautious with social distancing.
For as long as I can remember I have been going to Lagoon for various work parties or church activities. It seemed like not much changed over the years until recently. They ve invested money in some new rides and new food places. I ve heard stories of people meeting their spouses at Lagoon. There is a certain romantic feel to it on a hot summer night when the lights are on, kids are laughing and playing in the background, there s music playing the background, and the smell of amusement park food in the air. I may not have fallen in love there but it s always fun to take my wife for a few hours on a weekday night when the crowds aren t quite as large and the lines are a lot shorter. The price for a day pass seems a little on the high side but they make up for it with Bounceback specials and a killer Black Friday sale on their season passes. My personal favorites are Cannibal, Spider, and Wicked. But, if you re like me, take some motion sickness pills before you go.
Fun for everyone in the family! Lines can get long, but they move along pretty fast. Wide variety of rides from kiddie rides to adult rides. Tickets are worth the price they include rides, Laguna Beach, and Pioneer Village.
Fun place to go with friends or family. I love visiting here. Ordered chicken strips and fries there it was really good. Loved it!
This place is a great amusement park. You definitely get what you expect regarding food prices, bad food, insanely expensive stuff, etc., but what is awesome is the fact that the rides/attractions are fun, lines are hardly ever long, there are rides for every type of person to enjoy, etc. The food is not great, VERY expensive and lines are long for food, but this place is totally worth a try if you are in Utah. This is a great place to come if you are on a trip, or live in Utah also. It is family friendly, but bathrooms are hard to find and some spots are dirty regarding cleanliness. Sometimes, the ride time is even longer than the wait/line time which is awesome!
It's fun every once in a while. My son seems to enjoy the rides.
Frightmares is fun.
It's a pretty alright place. They got quite a few rollercoasters wicked and the spider are the best
Roller coasters are so much fun. The water park kind of lacked, but definitely nice to cool down in.
I love LAGOON! It is nice that they have rides for all my children! My youngest gets a little bummed that she isn't tall enough for all of the roller coaster rides but there are more than we ever knew of
The rides are fine but the lines move so slowly that you spend your entire day waiting in them. It also took over 45 minutes to get into the park and park once getting off the freeway. Crowd management does not seem to be their strong point. Not worth the money you pay for the ticket.
I feel like it hasn't been updated much since I was a kid, outside of the new rides, and I'm 31. But my kids love it so it's hard to not recommend and it's still fun to go to.
Awsome place getting busy plan on long lines.
Laguna beach was a bust they only let one person on a slide on each platform at a time, even though there are two to three different slides on a platform lines take forever. It didn't use to be this way, you used to be able to race down the different slides. Disappointing and annoying.
Thrilling rides, clean facilities, family friendly entertainment with cheerful staff/opperator. I love that they continually update the rides and expand the park. You can bring in your own lunch/dinner. Somehow my family goes here every year.
I love this place so so much. I love the rides. I came here with my cousins all the time. This will be a place I will always and forever come to. I will come for the rest of my life
I loved the park, but the animals are kept in inhumane conditions and really aren't even that important to the park. They are constantly harassed by the visitors of the park and have to endure a loud train that honks multiple time an hour by their enclosures for 12 hours a day. Not typically the person to write some like this, I just feel like it has to be said
We went on a Sunday afternoon and it actually wasn't that busy. First spot we went to was the old wooden roller coaster. We rode that to get used to the rides before we went to the bigger rides. The wood roller coaster always scares me just because it is so old. As we were going up the first hill the cars stopped about halfway up (I think the other train had not made it to the end/beginning yet.) It than continued up the hill and went through the ride fine. When we finished on the wood roller coaster we went on to the bigger rides like the colossus and the wicked. The wicked was pretty scary! It launches you straight up without warning than straight down. When we got a little tired of all the rides we played some games for a bit to try to win some stuffed animals. We did the 3 point contest over by the colossus and I realized I should not play basketball. The rides go pretty fast.
So the park is pretty big, not as big as say Six Flags but still really big, especially for Utah. We got drinks and some food later. The food is rather expensive however that is expected since you are at a amusement park.
The park is really fun. I love the Rattle Snake Rapids ride, it is fun because you get really wet and you go down and up on the rapids. The park has a lot of rides for people of all ages. They have kiddie rides, super fast adult rides, and the train and such that is for everyone even older people.
The park has a new ride that is called "Cannibal" It is 208 feet tall and goes up to 70 MPH. It has a inverted drop. You actually drop at 116 degrees. Pretty intense. Unfortunately I couldn't ride it because when I was in line they closed the ride for routine maintenance. It was closed for about an hour. We went back after it reopened and it unfortunately wasn't going with people on it. It was just running with empty cars. Apparently they had to test the ride after the maintenance. I was pretty disappointed since it was the one ride we all really wanted to go on. But another day right?
We went on The Rocket which is a ride that shoots you 200 feet straight up in less than three seconds! Than there is what is called "re-entry" It lifts you 200 feet up in about 20 or so seconds and then dropped to the bottom which makes you feel weightless. You feel like you are going to fly out of your seat. Really scary if you are afraid of heights.
The park is a great day activity for residents of Utah and visitors also. It is a fun day that you will need sunscreen for and a lot of energy. It is a very fun park and I loved the experience to go and ride all the rides. Will definitely go back soon enough.
All in all the rides and park is a great fun time. Definitely want to come check this park out!
See oldest family-owned amusement park in the country is one of our very favorites! Wonderful history and the people that own and run the park understand that this is their community! Fabulous rides the cannibal is a must. We love the barbecue place and the salad place in Pioneer Village and love to stroll down that street and visit some of the best local art collections anywhere
Plenty to do for all levels of bravery and entertainment. If you are looking for a less busy time of day definitely go in the evenings. It is fun for all ages and a great place to spend time with family.
Good variety of rides. Just wish they had misters for the line area for the water rides. Those of course are the longest waits.
Lagoons great cheap family about 8-10 solid big rides loads of little rides and lots of games, most of the staff is teenagers and they are very nice and happy to work in an amusement park
