Nobody chased me around the lot pointing out other deals. They sold me a car. It felt relaxed. I get the feeling they want to keep me as a customer.

Lacy Ford Lincoln Subaru is not the dealer that is closest to my home. However, after an annoying meeting with a sales person at a more local dealer I was more than motivated to drive there to see what they are about and what they would charge for a new car. The result was definitely worth the trip. The price was very acceptable; everyone was down-to-earth and friendly. Chris, my salesman, made an extra effort to make sure that he understood what I wanted and (even though I had done a lot of research) that I understood all my options. A Lacy sales manager even addressed my concern about the distance, my work schedule and servicing by assuring me that when I bring my car to be serviced, they ll set me up in an office with online access and I can just keep working. That solved that concern.
Even so I went back to the local dealer to offer them a second chance The second sales person I spoke with did not come close on every count to the superb service (and price) Chris and the Lacy personel had provided me. After confirming that I wanted to buy the car from Lacy, Chris made an extra effort to find my car at another dealer so I would not have to wait 6 to 8 weeks. He found one and I brought the car home, less than a week after I ordered it.
Just wanted to say thanks to Kristin Buckley at Lincoln for making my new MKZ purchase an amazing experience at Lacy Ford/Lincoln. Kristen was a total professional, especially being in sales myself I am always critical of others salespeople, but Kristin crushed it! Her response time and availability through out the transaction was perfect and her ability to beat 2 other Lincoln dealers on price obviously made a huge difference. However putting price aside, Kristin's personality and attitude is always upbeat with a solution based mind set, throughout the transaction she was constantly looking for ways to make it happen versus the "we'd love to help you but we can't" attitude. Kristin not only made the deal happen at the price I wanted to pay but she and her sales manager delivered the car to me in Albany, NY almost 40 miles away to ensure I had my new Lincoln for a family vacation I was leaving on early the next morning. I just did a trade-in yesterday afternoon with Dan Sorozan, and I couldn't have been more pleased. He was the original salesman who sold me my first Outback, and took care of me again yesterday. He does not push, gives you honest answers and is clear with information. The service department is equally honest and thorough, and I really can't recommend this dealership enough.
I had been looking for a used Subaru Outback for several months when I called Lacy inquiring about a car that was advertised. The folks at Lacy were all very helpful, never pushy and were able to work with me on a price that I cold afford. Lacy would not be in business for 100 years if they weren't 100% customer focused. I've been going to Lacy Subaru in Catskill, NY for quite a few years now. I've bought two new cars from them (one just a few weeks ago) and consistently used them to service our past Subarus, even the ones we didn't buy from them. They've always been a pleasure to deal with. If there's any problem I've had it's that Subarus are too popular. Or, in other words, negotiating on prices is difficult because there's usually a scarcity of available vehicles. The plus side of that is that they have a lower rate of depreciation. Overall, though, we've been very happy with ours and keep coming back for more. The dealership, though, has always been a very good experience and it is why we started going to them exclusively.
Over the years I have purchased many new vehicles, and I must say that my experience at RC Lacy Ford was fantastic. My sales representative Kayla, worked very hard on all aspects of the transaction, from the trade-in, to the vehicle selection, she made sure that I was happy throughout the process.
As for the vehicle itself, my F-150 XLT is by far superior to any other truck that I have ever owned.

JC was so helpful, even letting me take it for a couple hours so that I could let my husband look at it and get a good test drive! My grandmother brought her car here for an issue with the transmission, and the staff was more than helpful and accommodating! They had a loaner car ready for her to leave in when she arrived. They allowed her to keep it an extra day after her car was done and she didn t pay a cent! Sweet and very accommodating staff.

First I'd like to say that the staff here is always nice. However, in the summer of 2015 I came in stating that my check engine light was going off, and the car was bleeding coolant. I had explained the issue to a friend of mine whose a mechanic and he said it's the head gasket... So this is what I told them, they adamantly said that was not the problem and tried fixing everything else but the exact problem I told them. I returned SIX TIMES!!!!!!! Every time telling them it was the head gasket, once only making it 4 miles when I had to turn around!! Finally they had fixed the head gasket and DUH!!!!! The problem was over. I went in today for an inspection and told the "DO NOT PUT WIND SHIELD WIPER FLUID IN MY CAR, I HAVE FLUID I WOULD LIKE TO PUT IN AT HOME". They said "ok, we won't", and did it any way!! Now I'm stuck having to figure out how to take it out myself. They clearly don't listen to their customers AT ALL!!! How do you run a business like that? So aggravated with their awful service.

I brought my Subaru to Lacy with a dented and cracked front bumper and fender from a run-in with a bear the previous evening. While their shop does not do body work, Mike Murphy was super helpful in assessing the damage with me and bringing some of his guys from the shop to help shift things back into place enough to get me back on the road with a recommendation for a body shop nearby. They went the extra mile and I felt very cared for.
Picked up my new pre-owned Subaru yesterday and the process was a breeze! Desirae was my salesperson and was very helpful and communicative. On top of that, the entire dealership was adhering to safety guidelines that made it a lot less stressful to buy a car during the pandemic. I don't want to get another new car again anytime soon, but when I do I will be heading back to RC Lacy!
I started my search over the internet. Kristen contacted me and gave me some prices over the phone and a range for my trade in. She set up an appointment for me, and had me meet Jim Lacy. Jim met me and spent some time with me and handed me off to Matt. Matt had both cars I was interested in warmed up and waiting for me. We took extensive test drives in both. I knew I wanted a Forester, but we needed to evaluate my trade in. I had a price in mind based on research I had done. The sales price and my trade in allowance were both agreed to. This is the first time I have ever felt that my expectations were met and exceeded by a car dealer. The total experience starting with the phone call from Kristen, meeting the owner Jim and the total transaction with Matt, and lets not forget Robert who took my money, was no pressure total satisfaction. This is the first review I have ever written, but I find myself looking for them more often to view complaints about an establishment. I was a bit skeptical about the flawless reviews Lacy Subaru had, but no BULL, these folks are the real thing. Thanks all.

Three years ago we went looking for a comfortable riding car and decided on a Lincoln. We noted that R.C. Lacy had a good selection of vehicles so we made the 1+ hour trip from the Saratoga region to Catskill. We got a great deal on a 2010 Lincoln MKZ at that time and enjoyed driving/riding in the car. We had an issue with our free 3 month subscription to Sirius (i.e. it hadn't been activated) so we went back to the dealership to have it corrected. That's when we met Bret Lawton who dealt with the Sirius people and, with extreme patience on his part, got our 3 month subscription to Sirius authorized.
This year the newly designed Lincoln MKZ caught our eye. It's not that we didn't love our 2010 MKZ with a great ride and good MPH (we hope it goes to a good home), BUT, WOW this new car design is beautiful! So we headed to R.C. Lacy and asked for Bret to assist us. Bret is a very professional and affable man. He listened to what we wanted, didn't try to sell us things we didn't want but, yet, gave us all of the options available to us. Bret and John, the Sales Manager, were more than willing to work with us so that we could leave knowing we got what we wanted at the right price and the right financing.
Every representative we've encountered at R.C. Lacy is friendly and eager to assist. We have recommended this dealership before and we will continue to do so.

After all my years I have finally found a dealership that does what they say and do it very well.
- Lacy's service writers call you with status without you having to constantly chase them down for what is going on with your car.
-Some dealerships return your car with damage (greasy hands on the interior - scratched paint and so on). Not so with Lacy.
- They are fully capable of doing major work on your Ford.
- And the best part they fix what you complain about. I do not know how many times I have taken my car with a problem and the mechanics work on the problem, but they still return the car to you with the problem not fixed.
I had a wonder service experience with the Express Service team at Lacy. I was in the area and desperately needed an oil change for my Volkswagen. They got in me in and out quickly and I didn't even need an appointment! I would high recommend this service department!
Custom ordered my F350 through Mr. Amerling. Not only did it come in earlier than expected but the process of picking up the truck was seamless.

Well, you won't see me back again! 2 and 1/2 hours for an oil change and an inspection, and then to be told that they could not do the inspection because of a problem. How about coming out and say there is a problem and this is what we have to do to fix it and not just say we can't do the inspection, for a truck that has 14K miles on it and 6 years old. Goodbye!

While everyone was friendly they are selling cars at significantly inflated prices. I do a lot of research on the market before buying but my concern is that since they wouldn't budge on their price they are selling them way above msrp to someone else who is unsuspecting.

i'm a plumber at abc plumbing & heating... i didn't have time to fix truck so i had it towed to the ford dealer in catskill...rc lacy ford...
truck flooded out when it was very cold out... they called and told me the cylinders were full of gas and all the spark plugs were fouled...and that my oil was lumpy...had clumps in it...and my battery isn't holding a charge...
I am ASE Certified in engine repair and engine diagnostics and brakes....
1- if my cylinders were full of gas my engine would not have turned over...
a.and or it would have bent my valves...
2- battery was charged prior and was holding charge for me for two days unused...
3- if gas got in my oil (that was changed a week earlier) it would not make it clumpy or lumpy... it would break it down and make it runny...
4 - all they had to do wad dry plugs off...

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! My husband was in search of a specific vehicle (we are from Pennsylvania) he found it here at RC Lacy. He was so happy, we drove the four hours from Pennsylvania for Hannah to tell us it had been sold! She had been speaking with him for a week prior and also even submitted sales contract to our bank just the day before, when the heck did it sell?! Why didn t you have the curtesy to text or call and let us know this?! To Hannah and the rest of the staff at this dealership you should be ashamed of yourselves and do better!

I spent a couple of hours that day at Lacy Subaru, test drove 2 cars...loved them both of course...asked a million questions and Greg was so patient. I left that day without buying a car but knowing I would only buy one from Lacy Subaru.
A few weeks pasted...Greg kept in touch with me via email, asking if I had any questions, could he help in any way. He was great!
The day finally arrived, I was ready to buy my new Subaru.... but which one?? I called Greg and gave him my wish list...it wasnt easy either but within 24 hours he had found my dream car!! The next step was financing...again the gang at Lacy went above and beyond to get me the best rates, easiest terms and the payment was just where I needed it to be. Bob Cargi is the man!!
In short from beginning I was very impressed with all of the staff at Lacy Subaru. Professional, helpful, and so easy to deal with, I had the best experience there from beginnin to end...but most of all I LOVE MY SUBARU!!
Bret, our sales rep, was most accommodating . I threw a couple "curve balls" and he handled them well. He kept me informed, and did everything in a friendly cheerful manner. Everyone I encountered at the dealership was more than helpful, and everything promised was done exactly as stated. This is the first Ford product I have ever purchased from a dealer, and the first I have owned in over 30 years. Kudos to Lacy Ford.

These guys are a true five-star business! Called on a Saturday afternoon about a car I saw online and the receptionist made sure it was going to be on the lot ready to go when I showed up (took about 30-40 min to drive down from Albany). Pleasantly surprised with a brand-new showroom and lot full of new and used inventory.
Nicole got me set up with a test drive and the next business day I was driving home in my new truck! She helped make purchasing a stress-free experience and Matt in finance was able to get me an incredible rate from a local bank, that definitely made my day!

If this were a normal review, I'd just comment on how efficient and painless the buying process was and how great the sales department had been. But, we bought a new vehicle during a pandemic and RC Lacy was able to make thorough adjustments to keep their clients and staff safe. Our salesman, JC, had made extra accommodations for us, as well, and never put any pressure on us. Really pleased with our purchase and experience and I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

My family have purchased cars from Lacy for 30 years. My dad got his first car there, my mom got her first car there, yesterday I picked up my first brand new car and couldn't be happier with the car and the experience. Highly recommend them!
