Great for lunch, good food and service. Be warned it's right off of 145, which means it's a bit noisy if you sit outside.

Great service and friendly staff. Our party order nachos, Pizza, chicken sandwich and pulled pork sandwich. All enjoyed their meal, except for the chilli.

Had a very good prime rib dinner tonight. It was tender and had a very good flavor. The waitress, Latoya, was also the bar tender and made some very good mixed drinks. We ate in the dining room, away from the bar. Excellent meal!

Had the habanero wings. Great flavor and nice heat. Burgers were good too.

Have to down rate this place from last time. Altho the staff was pleasent and quick, the meal just was not as good. I got a garden salad and I thought it was incomplete. Needed more items on it. Also, still was hungry after we left.

During the warmer months the kids love the cornhole in the deck.

Pleasantly surprised. Great Saturday night atmosphere. No attitude; fun crowd. Food service a little slow due to volume, but really friendly and considerate server. Kind of felt like I was in Texas with the style of the place. Definitely will come back.

Always pass by here. It usually is too early or way after closing. The soup was outstanding the pasta as well. The stakes was delicious and the green beans were divine. Definitely worth a stop in.

Salmon was a 9.9 the prime rib was 9.5 service was fast and the waitress was super!

Great service incredible cheesecake highly recommend. Change nothing The Saloon is setting the standards for great food and service.

Food is usually good except on a couple of occasions. I like my meat rare to medium rare but it came out well done. Sometimes it takes awhile to get your order. But the food is good and decent prices.

Food is solid and tasty. However when the place gets busy the bartenders struggle to keep up.

it's a breath of fresh air great food and a just as great staff I came with my aunt and uncle (impossible to please people) and even they loved it and had no complaints

Good tavern food. Limited menu. Steaks are available but limited. Many types of burgers to choose from. Separate dining room from the bar, but only when they have it opened up. If not you will be seated at tables in the main bar area.

I really liked this place. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. She gave us suggestions on the food. Everyone (3 couples) was happy with their order, the food was delicious.

Cheap drinks and the relaxed country themed atmosphere. If you like country music and a rustic feel in your life. The bartender didnt catch her name but she was on the ball with everything attentive to all customers and even struck up a conversation with me. Most places tend to ask if you want a drink or food and that's it here you got a homely feel and it kept me in the door just a little bit longer

First i' d like to say the food was amazing, the amount of food that came with the meals I had are perfect and I always leave full.

Though the service experience is always a let down. I go there with one someone and we sit at the bar when we eat for optimal experience, so when the waitress ignores us it is more annoying.

We go around seven so it isn't crazy busy, but it can get a good amount of people in where I can understand less attention, BUT when there is only 5 groups of people in the restaurant and 3 waitresses working at the time why does it take an hour for our waitress to check up on us? The worst part was she was just watching tv that whole time.

I don't leave reviews, but this is an issue I hope to see resolved. Normally I wouldn't come back but the food is good, and the problem can be fixed easily so I have hope. The only other issue I have is there website says there open at 11, went there at noon today wanted to try a different time period but all the doors are locked. I have no idea when they are really opened

This was a so-so experience. The food was good not great. The soup was super salty, the fries were pretty standard. Service was equally as bland, just barely enough but not great. At one point my husband had to go track the waitress down so I could get tartar sauce for my only okay shrimp. Not bad if you are in the area but I would not go out of my way. Oh reason it got three stars is that they serve the absolute best cheesecake I have ever eaten in my life. Apparently it is the owners cheesecake she makes herself. The owner should cook all of the food.

Best Burgers in all of Greene County NY. Hand Packed, never frozen, !00% Angus Beef!! Try the Saloon Smokehouse Burger..Messy but sooo good!!

I sat at the bar this Saturday evening, the food was very good, however the bartender seemed very annoyed with having to serve us. The setting appearance is very welcoming, and the bathrooms are immaculate! Although, the food was adequate so to avoid making a scene or any discomfort I ignored the piece of hair found in my meal when the bartender served it to me. Besides that small sanitation issue i was very pleased leaving the Saloon!

Sorry to do this I hate leaving bad reviews but unfortunately this place has changed greatly in the past few months. I'd been told the food was amazing by many friends and based on the reviews from years ago my friends and I tried it Saturday. We were 1 of only 2 tables on a busy Saturday night in the bar, so I'm guessing the word has spread round. The food was bland and badly prepared, the chef came to our table and said "The locals have a bad palate they dont like seasoning"... This was his explaination for our complaints. The staff was rude, our bill was over charged (even after they took off the horrid appetizers, the server had still double priced one of our entrees). The chef did make me a mac and cheese from scratch (after he served me Kraft from a box and I complained) that was good. I don't know what happened to the Saloon, but something's gone horribly wrong and eating there is a bad idea. They do have Karaoke on Saturday nights in the bar area though, which I'm sure is nice. I know the Guy who runs it is a local favorite for that. Bottom line, drink in the bar, don't eat in the dining room.

Good food, a little bit expensive, accommodating but overall good food and service
