I purchased a Subaru Forester in March. I scheduled an appointment online and was directed to Juan Molina when I arrived. He was FANTASTIC! I told him exactly what I was looking for since I already had an older Forester and he directed me to one of the 2015 Foresters. I drove it but it just didn t feel like the one. He didn t give up on me though. A few days later I heard from Lacy about a 2016 that just became available and I rushed in. Juan wasn t there that day so I met with Casey O Hara who was also GREAT! They are both super funny and very personable which makes like very likable and easy to get along with. I immediately got something in the works because those recently off lease Foresters don t stick around very long. I took delivery the next day with Juan. The whole experience was fantastic! They didn t try to talk me into anything I didn t want like some of the other dealerships i went in; they got me EXACTLY what I wanted for what I was willing to pay. I would strongly suggest seeing either of these guys when you decide to buy your next vehicle. I know I will see them again when it s time for another new car. Thank you so much guys! It s even nice to chat when I come in for service.

I would not recommend going here personally, my experience was not good and after reviewing my paper work down the road I realized the trade in value I was supposed to get was not put towards my new truck. It was not used at all so pretty much I gave my vehicle away without even knowing.

Purchased a used 2014 Chrysler Town & Country to replace my Honda mini van, which had been stolen in Albany (!) and really, really needed a car and really liked the minivan when I saw it on the RC website. I drove down quickly to Catskill to test drive it and it hadn't been serviced or cleaned at the time, but I really just wanted to see if I liked it at all. Juan was there and it was a Sunday and he stayed to help me and everyone else who came in that day, all by himself, while watching his phone to see if his wife had gone into labor! He was very laid back and up front with me and took the time to answer my extensive list of questions. He had the car serviced and cleaned and we went back to drive it again and decided we wanted to buy it. Because of his baby circumstance, some others had to help out here and there with various questions/needs during the process and they were EXTREMELY nice and accommodating. At one point, when it was time to pick up the van, my ride back out on me and one of the customer service ladies even offered to pick me up in ALBANY and drive me and my kids down to the dealership on her way to work the next day. It was a great experience all around and we are really happy with our van. Thanks!!

Best experience I ve had buying a car. Great atmosphere in the dealership, great inventory, friendly staff. Desirae was very nice to work with, she made the process quick and easy and was helpful throughout. Will take my truck back for service and will go to RC Lacy for any future purchases.

After 5 or 6 Lincoln Leases from a different Lincoln dealership, I met SALESMAN JARED AND leased a 2017 Lincoln 15 months ago. Hands down the best salesmen I've dealt with, JARED gave me the best deal from LACY's that I'd ever gotten compared to the 5-6 Lincoln leases I had previously from DANA LINCOLN(closer to my house). Highly recommend JARED for sales.

Which leads to my 3 STAR SERVICE encounter. I had a light pop on regarding the DRIVE-TRAIN, so I brought it in. Young lady in service seemed so disappointed that a customer actually walked in, I actually chuckled. I explained what the problem was, seemed like no big deal. Then I asked about an oil change. Lincoln has decided(NOTHING TO DO WITH LACY'S) to cut their program including free oil changes/tire rotation. They tell you your're dealing with a luxury car maker, but it has become the same as leasing a Ford. Obviously this has nothing to do with LACY'S, as Lincoln has basically stopped reimbursing them for the LINCOLN PERK OF FREE OIL CHANGE/TIRE ROTATION. So I told the young lady I needed an oil change, and she notified me that the oil change is no longer free. FAIR ENOUGH. My problem came when I SPECIFICALLY ASKED HER "DOES THAT INCLUDE A TIRE ROTATION," to which she responded "NO LONGER INCLUDES TIRE ROTATION EITHER." So I told her "JUST AN OIL CHANGE THEN, I AM NOT PAYING FOR A TIRE ROTATION FOR A LEASED VEHICLE EVERY 5,000 MILES."

FAST FORWARD, my poor mom goes to pick up vehicle and when she gets home, she says, "60 BUCKS FOR AN OIL CHANGE? SURE ENOUGH, THE YOUNG LADY WHO I HAD UNFORTUNATELY INTERRUPTED must have checked a box and when I looked through to see how the hell anyone can charge 60$ for an oil change for a leased vehicle, they had hit my card for 20$ extra for a tire rotation. SO JARED 5 STARS. SERVICE 3 STARS.

60$ for an oil change for a leased vehicle is insane. And if the young lady doesn't like her job, she should QUIT.

I stopped by Last Saturday 6/27 just to take a look, and left with my new Subaru Forester. Bret was wonderful and did everything to make sure I could go home with my new car. So far I am very happy with my purchase.

First of all I did get a decent car at a good price. The sales people over promised and under produced on a constant basis. I live about 90 minutes away from the dealership . If I had not called in advance I would have made two extra trips from the Saratoga springs area to Catskill. Three times I was promised the car would be ready to pick up and it was not , I finally left with a loaner car and they brought me my car the next day with no gas in the car.
They did mail me a $50 gas gift card and they did fix a couple items on the car that I did not ask to be fixed. They also never did a couple things that I asked as well. It took two more weeks to get somebody out 2 color match and fix some scratches in the car. I really wanted to write a very good review because the sales people were very nice treated us with respect and gave me a fair price on a vehicle. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Lacey as a dealership. This little note is for the people at Lacy Ford please do not tell me in response to this that you were sorry and would like to make it up as it seems to be a response to every other review.

I stopped in to RC Lacy on a Wednesday looking for a sales person that I spoke to one year ago, but unfortunately I could not do anything at that time. Kirk McGee (Subaru sales person) at RC Lacy was right there to help me with all my questions.I came back to Lacy's on that Saturday for a test drive, which was fantastic. Then Kirk gave Bob (chief finance person), and he was able to work his magic with a great rate, warranty, and GAP insurance. One week from my initial stop at Lacy;s I am driving my new car. They helped me get into my dream truck, fully warrantied, with financing that I could afford; and, made sure I got a fair deal with a few extras to sweeten it! I hate buying cars. But sometimes you gotta do it....

I hate buying cars. But sometimes you gotta do it. So, after checking out every used Subaru in about a 150 mile radius, I found one that looked to be a good deal down at RC Lacy. After a few email exchanges (during which they were very responsive, my wife and I took the risk and drove 3 hours to check it out. And are we glad we did. The car was as advertised, the purchase seamless, and the whole experience may change my thinking on car dealerships. Although it was late on a Friday, the whole team there jumped in to prepare the car for us so we didn't need to make the trip twice. We drove it home. Working with Mike Murphy was terrific, he was friendly, low key, told us all our options, and didn't try to up-sell us. Way to go, RC Lacy!

Tried out a 2012 Subaru Forester and liked it so much that we went back to discuss purchasing it but it had been sold. Brett made many phone calls trying to get exactly what we wanted and we ended up with a 2013 Forester. We HAD to have fog lights and Brett made sure that happened. He was very friendly, down to earth, easy to talk to and wasn't the typical pushy salesman which really sold us. The best salesman we have ever dealt with.

Bob was great too, went above and beyond to give us the best deal and financing even though he had to redo all the paperwork which had to take more time for him. We really appreciated his great efforts.

Love the Forester and will be dealing with Lacy from now on as well as spreading the word.

I always like dealing with RC Lacy. Just bought a certified used car from them and all went very smoothly. They are very attentive and helpful. Even if I buy used cars elsewhere, I also always use them for all my service needs as the staff are very knowledgeable and always very pleasant to deal with.

I first came to RC Lacy to get my 2011 Subaru WRX serviced. It was not tuned right and had not been right since it had its 60k service, ( from another dealership). I brought my car back six times to this former dealership and it was insisted that nothing was wrong. After a blown turbo, replaced by Subaru of America, it still was not right. I brought it in again with the same response. I decided to now bring my car to Lacy where the service team patiently diagnosed the problem, ( software update and tuning the new turbo). I was elated and the car was finally back to what it had been some nine months prior, thanks especially to Matt and Luke. I decided to inquire about the new WRX and was delighted to see that the sales team was as personable as the service team. The whole sales team was involved with the purchase of my new WRX. Robbie Thorpe, Kristen, and Jen were all very personable and helpful. Robbie was very easy to get in contact with questions I had regarding the car and is just a great guy who will do what he can to be helpful. Bobby in finance was able to get me a good interest rate so I was comfortable enough to buy a warranty. RC Lacy may not be the biggest dealership for subies in the area but there customer service, and their techs in the shop are the best that I have ever experienced.

I've had my Subaru serviced here a few times and each time I find another reason why I'll be going back.
I've been to different dealerships in the area and the Catskill dealership went out of their way for me. This time, I had the pleasure of meeting Brian, who took time after the work on my vehicle, to educate me on the piece that they were replacing and how to care for it.
All of the staff I have encountered here were exceptionally polite, friendly and educated. Rescheduling my appointment here was also a breeze. I'd recommend Lacy Subaru to anyone.

Our salesperson, Kirk Mcgee, whom we had the pleasure of dealing with on the purchase of our 2014 Ford Taurus, called us because we had stopped by previously looking for another car. He had a pre-certified 2016 Ford Edge that he thought we would be interested in. We made an appointment with him to see the car. He worked with us and we purchased the car, and no pressure!! Had expected to pay much more for front end alignment, oil and filter change and tire rotation. They established alignment was not needed and the cost of the others items was less than what other dealers have charged me. Included was a good multi-point inspection that is recommended by Ford.

My wife and I went to RC Lacy to look at a Subaru. We worked with their sales staff who thoroughly explained the features of the car we were interested in and took us for a test drive. They were able to locate a car for us in another dealers inventory and got us into our new car within 2 weeks. What I liked about them is that it was totally unlike previous auto dealer experiences. I didn't feel any pressure, we got straight answers to questions and there were no hidden charges that came up at the last minute. They are nice people who sell a good product. I recommend them unreservedly.

My experience my Lacey Ford has been horrible. My car broke down in December, and i still do not have my vehicle. I was told there were no rental vehicles till the new year, and was not very accommodating considering i live in Brooklyn. Had my husband call because i was getting very frustrated considering we have a newborn baby and was given the run around. Finally was given a loaner vehicle on January 8th. We receive a call from Brian the service person who has been working on my car, telling me car is ready. That was the weekend of January 17, we could not make it up there then but went last weekend January 25th . Had to make arrangements for my daughter none the less, we get there the car does not even start. I had to call on Monday January 27th, in the afternoon because no one reached out to me. Also i was told my car was driven approx 21 miles to find the source of problem. Please note this is a financial vehicle I am entitled to a loaner. Highly upset with the customer service at this ford and such an inconvenience for me and family.

Brought my car in for an alignment and inspection (not a make they sell) and was very pleasantly surprised. The turnaround was quick and the alignment tech fixed a lot of problems, explained what he couldn't fix, and thoroughly drove the car to ensure his work was correct.

I struggle to find good alignment shops and generally come away disappointed. Not this time.

Also, pandemically speaking, it appears everyone will wear a mask while driving a customer vehicle, even when they don't think you're looking. That adds an element of trust in my opinion, showing they care about their work and service (and your health).

My car buying experience with Jared Gordiano was great! This was my first time buying a Subaru WRX STI ever but not my first time buying a new vehicle. From the time that I got to the dealership I was treated well, no nonsense, no boxes and numbers to try to trick me into a price that they wanted me at, no pressure at all it felt like! My past dealings with finance departments have been nothing but trying to be nagged into being up sold and Jared was nothing but pleasant! Jared was very helpful, and informative. He was able to answer any questions that I had right away. He wasn't pushy in any way, but just gave the "fact"!
They treated me like human being, not just like a walking wallet! Overall a WONDERFUL experience, thanks again Jared! I would highly recommend going to this dealership for anyone in the market for a car!!! Btw.... I love my Subaru WRX STI!

From making my truck purchase in April from J.C. Berzal, to my routine service visit for an oil change and tire rotation this week, this dealership has far surpassed my expectations! I tried to make an appointment ahead of time (online) as was required to do with a different company, and I recieved a call back letting me know that wasn't necessary. I pulled up to the service door and was immediately taken in, service was completed fast while I waited in the comfortable lounge. I am impressed by Lacy Ford and look forward to a long relationship!

During my routine maintenance oil change, I asked about making an appointment for a few concerns. I wanted a new battery due to the ongoing cold weather we have been having this year, as well as a tire sensor finally stopped working on my 11 year old truck. The service greeter told me we could get everything done in one stop unlike the other dealer in the area that we take my wife's car to. While I waited in the comfortable area provided, my salesman JC greeted me warmly and treated me like family! My service was completed quickly, and at a cost less than originally quoted! I left extremely happy, and will always use Lacy Ford for my continued service and car purchases in the future.

We were 4 hours away from home when my car died and we got it towed here on a Friday. All other places gave us a Monday/Tuesday appointment time including this place. Thanks nice we got there they were booked up but looked at it and figured out the issue and had us on our way. The people were SO kind and polite and helpful when we really needed it. From the front desk to the cashier everyone was wonderful.

Was in town for a couple of days on a long road trip and needed an oil change. They got me in right away, rotated and balanced my tires and even found out that it was covered under a plan that came with the truck (that I didn't even know about), so it was free of charge.
Wonderful customer service. Quick turn around. Had a great experience.

RC Lacy Ford Lincoln Subaru is probably the worst job to work while COVID hit. They ve sent 1 text message out in the beginning around March or April saying our jobs will still be there when everything is done. I ve stopped by several times for oil changes but nobody talked to me but instead gave me attitude! (During these months people have stole things from my desk iPhone watch charger, perfumes, ect) They then messaged me in late July saying they need me to start asap. As most of you know I m a single Mom and the only income is me. So as I told them I need to find daycare. The daycare I usually needs a month in advance before summer starts therefore that daycare was full at the time. So I said I ll keep looking. Most daycares are extremely expensive. So I shopped around and then I found a daycare that would be cheaper for me having me work almost my normal shift but not being able to work Wednesday s. I told them I can start in late August. Thinking the daycare would be open. However, it didn t start till September. The manger then said okay you can start Tuesday September 8th. I texted that same manager on Sunday the 6th to make sure it s good to go I can come in. Then he said I have to contact the owner. I left the owner messages. No answer. Then I call today spoke with the same exact manger that said I can start Tuesday said We don t need you and that that department we aren t looking to hire anymore for. However, there have been several people who are yet not notified about not having jobs!! Before this pandemic happened the department I worked hard in helped you grow but instead you guys would rather the budget cuts to save money for your pockets! You guys preach and preach how it s one big family but family watches out for one another. I know this status isn t professional but not as unprofessional this place has been to me and several other people during this pandemic. You should stop using the #OneBigFamily when it s not!
