Rc lacys is by far the best dealership in the region to work with. Calm with no high pressure sales tactics. Me and my wife just purchased a pre owned suburu legacy there and I took delivery last night. This is my second purchase with them and through the same sales person. Kirk thank you for professional approach and making this happen. I will deffinetly be doing business with them againand recommend him and the dealership highly! Very pleased!!!

I met Chris Slonina, when my boyfriend purchased his 2013 Subaru Crosstrex in August .
Chris was very friendly, patient, as well as knowledgeable in which made our decision easier.
I myself was looking for a new vehicle, but wasn t ready to part with the car I had.
I left that day thanking Chris as well as letting him know, I would come back to see him when I was ready to purchase my next vehicle .
On April 21st 2014 I decided to make that visit to see Chris as I had promised.
I had a idea what I was looking for, the trade in value I wanted for my car as well as the price I was looking to spend.
Chris took me out in the lot to view some vehicles, once out there I became over whelmed with too many choices and was afraid I would make the wrong one.
Chris was very patient we reviewed each car, price , performance, colors you name it we reviewed it and once again I didn t feel rushed at all.
I decided to return later that evening with my boyfriend to take a second look Chris was once again patient with the 2 of us, as we had him review things again.
I decided to purchase a 2014 Ford Focus ( which was not one of my original choices)
I couldn t be happier with it .
CHRIS IS THE BEST!!!! SALES CONSULTANT EVER, I WILL RECOMMEND HIM TO EVERYONE ..

I leased my first Explorer at RC Lacy Ford 3 years ago. It was the easiest process I ever had when dealing with car sales. When it was time to trade in, I started to work with Jon Amerling to lease a new vehicle. I drove 2 hours to work with Jon and RC Lacy because they are the best dealership I have ever dealt with in my many years of buying/leasing cars. All personnel are courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. I will continue my relationship with RC Lacy until I can no longer drive!!

i gave the ratings i did because i was in the market for a great used car under 15k and i found a honda fit that was in great shape for a very reasonable price the sales associate bob was great helping me through every step of buying the car and being a young adult it was kinda confusing but bob made everything very easy to understand and helped me get great financing also everyone at the dealership was very friendly also greg was great and also made everything very easy and smooth as far as my insurance went and i would recommend anyone to lacys - very happy with my new honda fit

Coming from Queens, NYC and working with Lacy Ford, Lincoln, and Subaru in Catskill was AMAZING, AMAZING & AMAZING. The whole team was GREAT. From my first call to Dana Miller, my Deal Manager, who helped me find the right car to Kristin Coleman, the Internet Sales Manager, who helped me get the price I needed to seal the deal.
Once we agreed to my price they directed me to Daniel Sorozan, my Leasing Consultant, who made the entire leasing process as stress free as possible. The entire process from my first call to picking up my new 2016 Subaru Outback just took 8 days. The whole team was professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend Lacy Ford, Lincoln and Subaru and I would come back to them again in a heartbeat.

Went here years ago and had a bad experience. I've heard a lot of bad things as well with this dealership from other people. We decided to give them a try again for ourselves today and went in to test drive a car and see what deal they can give us for a lease. We worked with Desirae and at first she seemed like a nice sales woman who eventually ended up getting us a decent deal for a trade toward the lease. That said we had a specific budget that was tight and we couldnt go over so we didnt take the deal. We didnt think we would be signing anything today we more just wanted to test drive and see. Desirae had some inappropriate comments along with facial expressions that were not appreciate for the job she has. Instead of helping us out and explaining certain terms she was using, we got some sassy responses. For example "if you want a different salesperson and you dont like me feel free to go somewhere else." (we made no mention or any suggestions as to not liking her, we had a different definition in our head for a term that she used and she didnt explain.) It was a Friday and it was later in the afternoon so we may have just caught her on a bad day but if you're trying to sell cars your attitude from the sales person should be helpful and positive.

My wife and I worked with Nicole and she was wonderful. This has been my 1st car buying experience that I have not felt pressure to buy throughout the visit. I could tell almost immediately this was a down to earth family run business. I would highly recommend Lacy if your in the market for a car.

I recently switched to Subaru from a brand I'd been loyal to for a dozen years, and a dealer with an exceptional service department that was just getting to be too long of a drive to get to. Lacy Subaru is much closer to me, and I thought the convenience alone would be enough to ease the transition. But Mike Murphy and the rest of the team at Lacy's made it seem like I should have switched years ago. It's such a treat to find people in the car business so dedicated to getting everything right and giving you a great deal at the same time. Buying from Lacy was a great experience and I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new Subaru.

I started my search over the internet. Kristen contacted me and gave me some prices over the phone and a range for my trade in. She set up an appointment for me, and had me meet Jim Lacy. Jim met me and spent some time with me and handed me off to Matt. Matt had both cars I was interested in warmed up and waiting for me. We took extensive test drives in both. I knew I wanted a Forester, but we needed to evaluate my trade in. I had a price in mind based on research I had done. The sales price and my trade in allowance were both agreed to. This is the first time I have ever felt that my expectations were met and exceeded by a car dealer. The total experience starting with the phone call from Kristen, meeting the owner Jim and the total transaction with Matt, and lets not forget Robert who took my money, was no pressure total satisfaction. This is the first review I have ever written, but I find myself looking for them more often to view complaints about an establishment. I was a bit skeptical about the flawless reviews Lacy Subaru had, but no BULL, these folks are the real thing. Thanks all.
Oh yeah, If anyone has Matt as a sales rep, ask him about his girlfriend in 9th grade.

My wife and I just purchased our third relatively new used vehicle from R. C. Lacy Ford in the last three plus years. I do not care to deal with most car dealerships and have always done my own vehicle work, but Lacy Ford has proven to be the exception to the rule. The entire dealership team is top notch. We bought a 2015 Transit 350 van, a 2014 Escape and now a 2014 F-150 that is like new. They are prompt, professional, and efficient with a family friendly oriented atmosphere. They truly strive to do their best. We have had Lacy Ford do a good bit of our general maintenance because they are quick and I trust their work based on our own experiences there and that is saying a lot for me. It is a lot cleaner and easier for me to have them do the work these days. If there is something needing attention they make me aware of it without any pressure to have them do the work, which I appreciate greatly. You would be hard pressed to find a better dealership to deal with for anything. The fact that they are a family run business for over 100 years should tell you something. Lacy Ford is our go to dealership.

I bought a used truck for myself in February of this year. The service was so great that I told them I was a customer for life. I wasn't kidding. We just bought a used car for my wife yesterday and again the service was outstanding. Juan Molina was our sales rep and he worked hard to help us find the SUV we wanted. Nicole Lacy was who we dealt with in the finance Dept and she got us a great deal. Their service dept. also rocks. I will continue to buy from them whenever I need a vehicle and would refer anyone to them. It's rare to find a company in any industry that works this hard at customer satisfaction.

I visited R.C. Lacy because I wanted to shop locally, but also let them know that I was looking for the best price as well. I knew what I wanted (all but the color) when I arrived. My sales rep., Bret, was very helpful, friendly, and extremely professional. In the end, we had to factory order the car I wanted, but it was worth waiting a bit as I am very happy with it. Everyone with whom I interacted at the dealership was very professional and I look forward to doing business with them in the future. Once again RC Lacy Catskill proves its customer service is excellent, My Subaru was recently purchased (4 or 5 months ago) but had to be brought in for service, because it would stall when stopping. Turns out my car needed a software update, Both Matt Devlin from the Sales, and Brandon (sorry don t know your last name) from service took extra time (it was pretty busy) to explain to me in detail my warranty situation and what was covered. Subaru warranty does not cover Software updates, Lacy s showed they value returning and loyal customers by helping me and making me feel taken care of.

Brett, the Salesman, is a salt-of-the-earth type of guy - not your typical car salesman salivating at commission. In fact, it was the most outstanding customer service I've ever had - let alone purchasing a vehicle.

You all have heard the horror stories, and RC Lacy is a Gem amongst rocks.

Staffed with warm, welcoming, and knowledgable individuals that genuinely want you to leave happy and feeling positive about your experience.

28 Days post-purchase they waived what would have been a $500 charge (out of kindness) just before our warranty expired for some 'wear and tear' without request. Genuinely good people here. I could not be happier with our choice of dealerships.

As a matter of fact, we're shopping for our second now!

Am a first time Subaru buyer and totally lucked out with Lacy in Catskill. The sales guy, Dan Sorozan, couldn't have been a better match for us -- low pressure but extremely attentive and focused on finding the exact car we wanted on short order with the least amount of hassle. This car buying experience was by far the best of the half dozen cars I have purchased over the years. The car itself is also the best I have ever owned (including a series of pretty nice Toyotas). The dealership is clearly well run, efficient and clean. It is also easy going, even peaceful, without the usual sense of aggression or high pressure you feel in most dealerships.

My experience at Lacy Ford Lincoln Subaru was supportive and professional from the moment that I walked onto the lot in Catskill. I was greeted by a salesman who offered his assistance and was very interested in what I wanted in a vehicle, not what he wanted to sell me. Robbie's indvidiualized attention was very reassuring, he stayed focused on the task at hand, he was not distracted and was not on his cell phone (a huge plus for me), He exhibited a level of confidence far beyond his years but was able to back it up with action. After an informative converstation about various makes and models of trucks and what my needs and expectations were in a truck, Robbie emphasized that he would find the right truck for me, and he was able to deliver. I bought a Ford F150 Lariat (used), it is in excellent condition inside and out, with a luxurious interior and a smooth ride. My partner was most interested in form and comfort and I with the function of the vehicle, the Lariat was the perfect compromise. Additionally, I was assisted by John Luvera, he sat with me and described the extended warranty options in detail, emphasizing the pros and cons of each option. I chose the warranty that I was most comfortable with and I feel confident that I made the right choice. If you are looking for a new or used vehicle, I highly recommend R. C. Lacy Ford Lincoln Mercury Subaru, my overall experience was excellent.

The entire sales experience was positive. Making the deal was very straightforward, honest and above board. Chris bent over backward to make sure we understood the entire process. He also went out of his way to deliver the car to our home and explained all of the bells and whistles on the car, of which there were many since we ordered all of the available options.

We went to Lacy because it was recommended by someone we knew who had an equally positive experience.

Had a good experience, I think the whole covid thing made me put a 4 star. It was very hard communicating, awaiting answers, and sending documents through weeks of email . But all in all, they found the truck I wanted, got it to their dealership, and it was a good deal. Online "paperwork" went well and pickup was quick and easy.

I had a truly wonderful experience buying my Subaru at Lacy. I was very nervous about taking this big step (as the 228,000 miles on my 16 year old car might indicate). However, at Lacy, instead of confusion and uncertainty, I felt comfortable and well-taken care of. I can't say enough about Matt, the salesman and all-around terrific guy, who helped me. It was clear, right from the start, that he wants his customers to buy the right car for them and to leave feeling happy and confident that they had made the best decision. Jon Amerling is a salesman working at Lacy - from the hip straight shooter with the ability to assess a customers needs without much more than observing your test drive. I wouldn't purchase anything from anyone else at any other dealership. I've bought two trucks from Jon, and each sale was painless. In addition, the entire service dept rocks - they're all lovely to deal with, very efficient while addressing any concerns I may have.

I wasnt called when my car was ready and it was left in a complete mess! I opened the door and my jaw dropped. Things out of my glove box and center case ... was getting a air bag fixed. Then when I was driving I realized there was no heat or air coming from my vents. Since I'm far from the dealership I went to someone else to have them check it out and they found a cable that wasn't hooked up

Update- Spoke with the Service manager, he apologized and we spoke for a while about what happened. Update to 2 stars from 1.

Cant even believe these fraudulent business practices. I've taken my Subaru here multiple times with no issues for oil changes and the like. This past fall they told me I had a power steering leak/issue and to bring it back for service. I kept an eye on fluid levels and didn't notice any problems. The next time I brought it in for an oil change they told me the problem was still there. So I made an appointment for my next oil change and told them to take a look. Zero issues with power steering. But they charged me a lot of money to look into this problem they made up. And while looking into the non-existent problem, they cut through my AC belt and wanted another three hundred dollars to fix that (had no problems). These illegal fraudulent business practices are what got me in touch with Subaru of America who attempted to right Lacy's wrong doings. When I called and questioned Lacy Subaru on why they made up problems and charged me for them, the response I got back was that the Subaru technicians weren't qualified to tell me I had issues. Shaking my head in disbelief at my outrageous bill, I knew I'd never go back. Now I'm still left with a three hundred dollar fix after they cut their way through the ac belt completely unnecessarily. But on the plus side, no issues with power steering

Traded in my 2012 Ford Edge and purchased a 2018 C...

Traded in my 2012 Ford Edge and purchased a 2018 Certified Edge Titanium. So far I am impressed with the RC Lacy sales and finance team. They handled everything with professionalism and courtesy.

I had a couple of issues prior to taking the car home. The first one was a crack in the windshield on the driver side. They promptly scheduled Safelite to come and replace the windshield at my home at no cost. The second had to do with the worn OEM tires (Hankook). These are suppose to have a 50k mile tread life, but with only 24k you can already see the wear bars. According to their tire gauge, the tread depth still fell within acceptable limits. Although they wouldn't replace all 4 for free, they did meet me halfway and I m okay with this.

All in all, I have no doubt that RC Lacy Ford will continue meet or exceed my expectations in a car dealer. Also looking forward to meeting the Service department team when I get my new tires!

After dealing with a few local dealers in my area, I decided to try Lacy. Salesperson MC Reopell and business manager Jeff Reopell made my purchase and transaction flawless. No hassle or pressure. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Wish I hadn't wasted my time and energy at the other places. I definitely will return and suggest to anyone to go to Lacys for their car purchase. Thank you Lacys!!!! I Love my car!!!!

Ordered and purchased a 2015 Outback and was quite impressed with how the staff at Lacy Ford handled the transaction. The entire process was professional, cordial, accurate and painless. While many car dealerships have, unfortunately, tarnished reputations, my experience has convinced me at least that Lacy Ford is the exception to the rule. Consequently, I give Lacy Ford an A grade. My contact at Lacy Ford was Robbie who made the whole transaction a very pleasant experience. I give him an A+ grade.

Edit: If this review was fully read by the Lacy owner, the reply would not state that they fixed everything as soon as they were told. It took several extra trips and repeated apologies to get things fixed. That is not getting things addressed as soon as they were made aware. The reply from the owner to me initially asked me to call to discuss and address this and offered a phone number but I was unable to call at that time, because I was out of cell service area. They have since changed it to a defensive response which implies they fixed things quickly and accurately. If they read the end of the review, they would see that the last "inspection" was still inadequate as they claimed to check fluids but my own inspection (looking at the reservoirs and a visit to get the oil changed) indicate otherwise. Just because other reviews are positive does not mean my experience is invalid or incorrect. Additionally, the disrespectful comments and laughing at my dissatisfaction with their service was not addressed. Finally, there are still problems with the backup camera and screen, as well as the noise when turning after the car has been sitting for a time, both of which they know about.

Dismal service and poor follow through are the hallmarks of this dealership. The 150+ point certified inspection must just be a form the technician fills out without looking. Several small things were completely missed such as the missing key they certified, which I acknowledge they told me about but was certified as having two present, the driver's side floor mat was missing despite the form indicating all 4 were present and had no stains or burns, the air conditioner did not work, even a little, and the fluids were not topped off. The coolant was a little low, the windshield washer fluid was half full, and the gas tank was down an eight of a tank within 2 blocks of the dealership. The key being missing was made known to be as I said, but they promised to have it there shortly. I had a scheduled appointment to have a stain removed a few days later, but when I arrived, the key was not. Several days later again, when I came back to pick up the car from being repainted, the key was again not there. A week later they finally got around to having one delivered. At this time, it was cool outside so I hadn't needed the air conditioner, only an open window. So I called when I tried to use it, and they had me come in a few days later. I understand needing to schedule it. No problem. It is now 100+ degrees outside and very humid and when I get there I wait for a few hours, watching as my car does not go into the bay despite having an appointment. They finally get back to me to tell me that it's a bad compressor, and send me home telling me it will be a while before they can get the part and they will call me back to let me know it's in. Some time passes and it's hotter and hotter. I finally call to ask for a loaner car until the part arrives and I'm asked why I hadn't called to schedule the appointment, my part had been there for a while. Note how they said to me they would call me when the part was in. They agree to the loaner and deliver it. That was a nice attempt at regaining some of my appreciation, however they give me a dented, dirty, smelly car to use for my work vehicle, visiting clients. I did not purchase a car that looked like this one and would expect a car comparable to the one I own. When I explain this is not a way to make repairs for poor service and dishonesty, they chuckled that I'm unhappy. They stated they did another inspection but again, the fluids are not checked or filled at a minimum. They did replace the floor mats on this visit but similar to the key, they neglected to do that the trip before when they assured me they would have the replacement. Untruthful repeatedly, no follow through, and disrespectful comments and behavior are not a way to ensure follow up business. The manufacturer has been told of the lack of complying with the certification process and they were not pleased. I hope others have better experiences.

So happy with my experience at RC Lacy. Billy was awesome! He was super helpful and honest and I appreciated that since it was just what I needed at the time. Plus, my kids enjoyed the whole experience since he talked football during our test drive! Eric also worked very hard to get me in my new Subaru which was also so appreciated. Thank you guys for everything!

I had called for an appoint to have my oil change and inspection, I was told I did not need an appointment but could simply drive in. I arrived at 10:30 and was told I would be out within the hour. I waited 3 hours without being given any updates or appoligies.

I want to thank JJ for all the help that he gave my wife and I. We went in to rc lacy in the beginning of February to purchase a 2013 VW passat, we gave him a deposit to hold the car and that's what he did, he held the car for a month an unforuntly something came up where we couldn't purchase the car and he understood. Will come to say two months later we were finally able to purchase the car that we wanted and likely for us it was still there. JJ was by our side the whole time with our car buying experience and kept us in the loop the whole time. Thanks again JJ we love the car.

Recently bought a 2016 Impreza, test drove it on a...

Recently bought a 2016 Impreza, test drove it on a Monday, picked it up that Thursday. I dealt with Casey from walk in on Monday to that Friday, and he kept me up to date with everything until I picked it up, and helped me out personally that Friday when I had a minor issue with the car. Great customer service, kept the process easy and understandable, and I look forward to my next dealing with them.
