Boutique, but with the idea of the department store. I like to take a tour when I'm in Milan, it remains a staple of shopping that is sometimes out of reach but that seems affordable.

I have been attending the Rinascente in Milan for a long time, I must say that regardless of the department / brand I have always been served by polite and professional staff. The experience at Dior and Valentino was very positive.

A special compliment goes to that great peasant who served me at the counter immediately after entering the Dolce & Gabbana counter.
I was looking for a birthday gift for a friend I was struck by a perfume in particular, he makes me try it and the perfume was great a little less was the price ... I asked if there was another perfume that cost slightly less ... he annoys me NO! And I smiling I say "come on I don't believe it!" Thinking it was a commercial tactic (although I don't think it was the cheapest one) and he annoys me "I don't have time to waste if I tell you the lowest and lowest if you want you can go elsewhere".
I bought the perfume x my friend xk if it had been for me I would have sent it to that country in a matter of a nano second ... given the amounts that are spent there I expect at least the kindness of the shop assistants! And I advise this guy to change jobs

Horrible service, department store with no detailed Directory or information counter. Stores were hard to find.

Entering the Rinascente is like stepping into the past, when hypermarkets did not exist or were very few, trade was not focused on speculation or at least not aggressive, salespeople were consultants ready to follow you in purchases, not men folding clothes our days.
If you are in Milan, visiting it is a must, even if you can't afford to buy it, just go for a coffee, which by the way is excellent and does not cost much.
Even if it has undergone changes dictated by the market, compared to what I mentioned above, Rinascente always has that charm that hypermarkets can never transmit.

One of the focal points of the city of Milan is definitely the Rinascente: the palace of fashion and design. In an extremely central location you can shop for quality food or enjoy a break at the bar on the top floor. When visiting this great city, you certainly cannot miss it.

They tried to sell me a red silk tie from Kalvin Klein's display that was pulled out and ruined, when I noticed they pulled another identical tie pulled out of the drawer, the saleswoman noticed and with an idiotic smile she put it back in the drawer ... then orders that talk about their business not realizing that I had been turning for half an hour that I needed a tie to a shirt ... then they said that the ties on display resell them ... in the face of the luxury store !! ! now Rinascente has become a market ... ties are bought back to me on Amazon with a ten euro discount and in perfect condition;)

One of the best stores. If you are looking for anything ... you will find them.
The terrace overlooking the Cathedral is beautiful, where you can have an aperitif or dinner.
