This really is where all the magic happens! I had no idea that this place existed, I like to refer to this place as a think tank for master pieces. Thanks to my alumni association, I had the opportunity to receive a personal tour, hear the CFO give updates, eat great food, and visit the employee gift store. Mickey and Minnie made an appearance, photo opps were available, but I snoozed. Even at this moment as I type this review, I'm still kicking myself...

When I first stepped onto this campus, I felt as if I were on a college campus. Later the tour guide mentioned that the college-like atmosphere was on purpose as many scenes were filmed and Walt wanted to encourage free-flow thinking. Filming happens daily on the lot with everything on wheels, transitioning from 1 stage to another is a breeze.

Security is tight, and for good reason! The other cool fact was the hospital next door, which you can see from the studio. Apparently, Walt died there. If I ever get another invite to visit again, I'll come back in a heartbeat!

nice indoor hub area which branches off into 4 different attractions: animation Academy, turtle talk, the frozen meet and greet, and the sorcerers workshop. there are gigantic floor to ceiling screens all around, and music videos of classic and recent animated movies are played on a schedule. it's air conditioned, so a nice place to hang out if it's hot outside.

This is the Animation studio "ride" in Disney's California Adventure park, not to be mistaken for the actual Disney Animation Studio in Burbank. That out of the way, this is a fun experience, and you get to keep your drawing of a Disney character. Good way to get out of the sun for a bit and sit.

Must see if you know someone that can get you in. So much Animation history and awesome art all over the building. Very creatively inspiring! The design of the building both inside and out is also worth noting!

Wreck-It Ralph 2

Wreck-It Ralph 2

In a few interviews, Rich Moore has revealed some of his ideas for the sequel's storyline.

One idea he mentions includes expanding the gaming universe onto different planes. He particularly makes a point on including mobile and online gaming, believing it would be "great to work in a story about those types of games that are so prevalent, contemporary and part of today's culture."

Another possible plot point Moore brought up was the possibility of Ralph and the gang meeting other versions of themselves, from other arcades or more modernized platforms. It is unknown if Mario or Tron, two cameos scheduled to appear in the sequel, will have an important role in the film or if they will only have a couple of lines and that is all.

Henry Jackman confirmed here that a storyline for Wreck-It Ralph 2 is being written. In July 2015, John C. Reilly announced that he'd signed on to work on the sequel.

Driving by and there is lots of places for photography and tourist activities. The traffic wasn't bad and the employees were kind with smiles. I'd love to go back and explore more with a tour perhaps. We loved seeing everything through the windows!
