A large area whose value for money very interesting

The beautiful Brussels opera house has an orchestra and magnificent choirs. The room and its annexes (unfortunately too small for these times) are very beautiful and well developed after recent renovations. Unfortunately, the seats are very inconvenient because the lines are too tight.

Ticket sales are slightly hilarious. You cannot digitally convert a gift voucher to a ticket. No problem, we make it a trip to Brussels.
The staff is instructed to work efficiently: do not speak three words if you can do it with two words. Two words in a language that shows some resemblance to our Flemish national language.
With our gift voucher we request two tickets for an opera in February 2020.
"Subscription?" No, we don't have that.
"Can not". It appears that we cannot buy single tickets before 09/01/2020. Oops, our gift voucher has expired. No problem, that voucher is extended until 09/01/2020 and there will then be no more tickets. Only with subscription. The conciseness of the staff is really impressive.
Fortunately, there is a subscriber, who finds this too crazy, and suggests that he will buy two tickets with our gift voucher. Thank you very much!!

I was able to visit even workshops. It's an amazing experience to see how magic and showmanship are worth it. The currency is very ambitious in its work and does not care about the means

1 star for acoustics.
1 star for the rather comfortable chair.
0 for the place, it is shameful to sell places like the U6 at 39 where we do not even see 1/3 of the scene and where the subtitles to see the translation (and understand the story) are hidden by the balcony of the upper floor.
I am disappointed for my boyfriend who thought to please me by offering me a place because he loves the Opera.
We were both disappointed ...

An Opera House that leaves a mark very appropriate for those who visit Brussels. Starting from its artistic programming, going through the private beauty of the building and ending in the pleasant square that faces the space.

Teatre Reial, by architect Damesme in 1819, another concurred point.

This is another historic buildings in Brussels, I could not see inside my visit, but I found out excellent. Its official name is: La Monnaie.

Beautiful opera, beautiful acoustics and an enticing program

Attended the presentation of requiem pour L. It was great, especially considering that the cards cost only 7.50. Even without being a normal opera singer, the passionate performance in this magnificent room was a great experience

Inescapable place of our heritage and our history! It's a place to see and discover at least once! We had the chance to attend the Opera "Tristan und Isolde" in this sumptuous setting and the magic has operated ...
