If I could zero stars I would! This is lowest rated I ve ever given. I m still fuming....... waiter spilled two margaritas on my 4 1/2 year old and senior mother when bringing our drinks. Never apologized. Never asked if they we ok. Spillage was left on table and ground the entire time we there. Common courtesy is bare minimum expectation. And to top it off......wasn t comp d any portion of bill. Just wow! Wow!

Picture it... July 4, 2018 - In town from Dallas to visit family for the 4th.
We arrived at the Market in San Antonio at 5pm on the 4th of July. A storm was blowing in and we needed to take shelter. La Margarita was the place. Cold Beer, outstanding margaritas and bean and cheese nachos. What else do you need! The service was outstanding and the food was hot and fresh. We waited out the rain and hit the shops. We certainly beat the crowds! Not our first nor our last visit to La Margarita.

So glad my wife and I decided to take a lunch stop here while shopping in the Square. Chips and salsa were a challenge to stop eating and the food was amazing. I ordered the Enchiladas Verdes and these were by far the best I've ever had. My wife enoyed a Puffy Taco for the first time and was blown away. Fast and friendly service at a great price.

I go to a restaurant for the food. My standards for Mexican food are quite high. Their salsa had canned tomatoes. All of the dishes were on the bland side. The beef ribs were very tender but on the bland side. Live music and a full bar may be the appeal. Someone invited me. I wouldn't go if I had to pay myself.

Enchiladas Pollo en Mole were fantastic with a bit of spice. Guac was bland and standard rice and beans which is only thing preventing 5 stars. Lots of entertainment around the restaurant at all times.

The restaurant is ok, but should be noted they specialize in Mexican Seafood dishes. We visited this location based on reviews but thought is was a traditional Mexican Restaurant. So limited menu for something like beef or chicken enchiladas or chimichangas (note zero chimichangas).

We were drawn to this restaurants by the aromas wafting from inside. We made a reservation and the wait was around 20 mins. Its located in the Historic Market Square and we were able to shop while we waited for our table. Once seated we were given salsa and chips. Our chicken was moist and delicious and the cebollitas asadas made the chicken amazing.

The service here was great. The waiter was personable and efficient. My husband and I had the margaritas made with Don Julio. They were great. We also shared oysters a la margarita and pablano pepper stuffed with cheese and chorizo. The hubby also had me serenaded by mariachi.

Food was good but I'd ordered a Margarita and I could taste orange juice and I'm diabetic so worst thing so I ordered a pina colada and my husband had ordered that to begin with so when I got mine it tasted like orange juice also totally different from my husbands so my husband switched with me and he said yes it does taste like orange juice so careful with your drink.
