Humiliate their customer by handing them the bill. Hotel to avoid if you want real palace service. And respect. I had to change rooms because the heating did not work and the door to the bay window broke so freezing cold. No refund of my night and a room transfer in 8h .. And that's just one detail in a list. No follow-ups from managers if you don't have a prestigious last name. Even if you pay. The value of this palace lies in the value of the material. Poor service. Do not stay long in this place and even less if you are a single woman.

The sweetest place in Morocco at all.
The sweetest place in Morocco at all.
The place is very very luxurious.
The labor cadres have a very high standard and some of them are famous internationally and especially the restaurant manager when they are very famous abroad.
The place is second to none ... more than Mtmawaz

The rooms are nice and the garden and grounds are lovely. The staff are attentive and polite. But the food in the hotel is not of a high standard at all, we ate in three restaurants and the food whilst wildly overpriced is not very nice, More

Lush beautiful garden that can take you away from all hassle of madina. Old style hotel that sits in a prime spot in the Hivernage neighbourhood, just outside the medina and almost opposite the famous Koutoubia minaret. So its easy walk to madina and souq. The service is outstanding. I spent two nights here with 2000 euro.. would I go again? Yes for lunch or drink but not to stay as there are many excellent Riad around can provide more (home style experience) better than la mamounia with less than half of the price. But they deserve every penny.

The hotel is very nice, but I had a terrible experience. We visited the hotel, had lunch and when we had to leave, the card payment system did not work (it was not cheap, Berreta had enough food and we had no cash). So they made us wait 1 hour, until the card passed. They had accumulated many cards. They were about 40 degrees. They didn't offer us a glass of water, with little girls aged 5 and 7 who were exhausted from waiting. We had to ask permission to walk through the gardens while we were doing time (we didn't have it because it was our last day and we planned to visit other places). If it were for them, you had to be kidnapped at the reception. All for a hamburger and a slice of chips and a couple of sodas. The 90 euros worse spent. They seemed desperate to collect (crumbs, for a hotel of supposed category) and it was not our fault that they had no system. The wait was one hour per clock without being able to move from the hotel. Silver is not the important thing. But customer service, and the attitude of its staff, left much to be desired. We were supposedly attended by a woman named Jiman (who never wanted to give us her last name) and one Paul Rivet. Hotel disaster.

It's weird starting with a 3 star review on my first night at La Mamounia but when your expecting the best hotel of the world you really put your expectations high. The pool indoors looks lovely in pictures but quite small in person. The outdoor pool with lots of chlorine, really burns your eyes. The food menu, quite basic by the pool. The public areas inside pretty dark and gloomy and the room, well, it's comparable to a Marriott or Westin room. Poor mini bar selection, not accessible plugs to charge your stuff, small TV in room. One thing that really put me off, no 24 hour gym. It closes at 8pm. Location wise you need a cab for everything. Staff really attentive and kind. Since the gardens are open to visitors the security keeps asking you if your a resident, quite anoying. Nice hotel but totally not worth the price tag.

Very nice hotel but the missing star are rather related to the hospitality level. To be fair the staff at the gates and reception are nice but those at the restaurants are somewhat arrogant and make you feel like they are doing you a favor.
They have store like YSL, Dior and for local attire too very nice one Beatrice Paul.
Also their spa is not available for non-residents.

The place went downhill since I heard it was so amazing 6 years ago. Yes, it's beautiful, but the food super expensive, we could not swim in the pool as day guests, and the tea was so laughable we had to send it back. Hard to mess up tea.

Astounding and breathtaking garden. Open to all to come and enjoy their afternoon tea whilst enjoying the view. Only thing I'd say is that do not attempt to enter wearing a sports shirt. You will be turned away. You can wear anything smart or even casual Also, they have great hot chocolate.

Overpriced and just mediocre food. We were a party of 8. We had the salmon , the steak, the pork , the lamb and the skate. All 8 of us were disappointed. Food was mediocre at best. $1600 later all we can talk about is how bad it was. Save your money and go to local Moroccan restaurants.
