A very nice place where the table set up under the veranda offers a pleasant moment for a dinner. The dishes are delicious and the service at the level, the recommendation of the wines judicious. Only downside the quantity a little chick cheese served. Overall, an excellent experience.

Spa area.
We were a group of 5 to take advantage of the spa area. What a disappointment when we were informed that the steam room was not available due to covid-19, something we can fully understand. However a few days earlier, we received an e-mail to inform us of the instructions and will be charged if we withdraw, however we were not told that the hammam was not currently available. No compensation or commercial gesture was made, I find that it is a lack of professionalism on the part of an establishment like this one.

Castle hotel. Wonderful, charming, high level staff with nineteenth-century style rooms (four-poster beds), outdoor swimming pool and attached restaurant with high quality cuisine. A place to spend a romantic weekend.

Oldish style but rooms are big, nice and comfortable. On the down side parking is far from the hotel and no conditioning air. Nice staff for both hotel and restaurant.

We got married at Chapeau Horn and are delighted. The upstream organization by Ibtihel was perfectly managed and reassuring. On D-Day the entire team of the castle was outstanding, pampered, responsive and able to adapt to the evening and to our guests for a truly tailored wedding. The dinner was delicious, the service impeccable, the rooms comfortable, the place beautiful. All the guests were happy. Our 2nd time in this beautiful restaurant. Very very good dishes. But this time after we were served the meat we were not filled with wine then the cheese comes as always no wine. The waiters disappeared too busy with a large table. Then the desert congratulations to the delicious chef.

We have always loved this beautiful place, with very friendly staff.

However, this year, when celebrating the birthday of our 80-year-old grandfather, we were very poorly received.
As soon as we arrived at 11:30 am the staff told us to vacate the premises at 4:30 pm. Hesitated for a long time to serve us an aperitif (they were very late in setting the tables).
The only place we were able to sit down to wait for the rest of our family was poorly maintained (papers on the floor, full ashtray).

The aperitif which followed was most deplorable with a disastrous service. We were told of foie gras when it was herring (my husband being very allergic to fish it almost turned into a drama).

The table service was just as abysmal. Arrogant young ladies who do not serve wine, do not offer the different variations of the menu. See even nasty with our 17 month old little girl who was posted behind the door and who was put back in place.



In short ... this place is very poorly run and it is a shame because the setting is idyllic. We will not set foot again until the management of this establishment changes its business strategy. It's a gas factory!

An isolated castle in a superb setting. A superb swimming pool. A young and pleasant service staff but a bistro whose cooking is not even at the level of a poor pizzeria. A dismal Italian theme with spaghetti carbonara. A miserable starter and a no better dessert. All for 39 on the menu !!! We had a box which provided for a getaway menu but refused and oriented towards the bistro. No commercial gesture! Too bad this place could be idyllic with more commercial sense and with a chef who has at least a cooking skills!

We had our wedding in this place with 80 guests. It all starts with a perfect weeding service with Ibtihel, followed by an exemplary staff, smiling and pro and all in a sumptuous setting and accompanied by food worthy of a gourmet restaurant. I never thought that we could have a perfect wedding and yet, we had this ... I can only recommend to you who want to dine at the restaurant capella or make your wedding in this place: to go for it. We gale like all couples wishing to marry. After seeing on the internet nearly 150 rooms, selected 10 places and having visited 3, the best value for money was the delivery of this horned castle. Thank you again for this exceptional moment that you have made possible and as soon as we can, we'll come back. Denis & Laurane

Just wonderful, beautiful like in the movies but in real life! The setting of this castle is exceptional. The waiters and waitresses are just great: respectful, attentive to the smallest needs, smiling, careful, well dressed ... it's nice. The pool is great, the lawns are manicured, the rooms in the chateau are top notch. The room for the wedding meal was in a vaulted cellar all in stone: the decor was absolutely magnificent. For a romantic weekend or for a wedding or even for a day, it's worth enjoying a total change of scenery and resting in this sumptuous setting. Brunch is served every Sunday for a very decent amount, then you can enjoy the swimming pool.
To do and redo without hesitation.

Simply unacceptable
Family room reserved for more than a month in the outbuildings and the day of our arrival on 07/08, 2 hours before, a hostess called us to tell us that there was a computer problem and that they could not us to receive !
Shameful !!!
Can they cram us in ??? Very angry I told him that anyway we will be at the reception of the castle at 7:30 pm after more than 600km of road!
As luck would have it, a 1/4 hour later a solution had been found and they could accommodate us!
No matter what, especially since this concern seemed to make the person at the reception smile!
Unworthy of a 3 stars ...
Regarding the rooms, it was unbearable heat, no fan and the rooms are not equipped with air conditioning. In addition, the taps have to be descaled and the view from the bedroom window is nothing more than a sort of construction site or perhaps a parking lot under construction? In short, horrible!
We would have liked to meet the manager or manager of this establishment because this kind of problem should not have existed in an establishment of this type ... having done several 3 and 4 star hotels for several years, I find this behavior unworthy!
And luckily we had canceled the gourmet restaurant because for menus at 49, 69 and 89 you want to spend a quiet moment and again what a surprise! What NOISE! with rattling tables on the lawn and even in the middle of the passage! My 3 children, however young, couldn't believe it!
Very nice and quiet little restaurants whose menus have a much better value for money are 10 or 15 minutes away so frankly I will never go back to the castle with the horned hat!
And I would like the managers to contact me by phone so that I can inform them of these inconveniences!

The location of the hotel can not be better, outdoor facilities, parking, pool, restaurant. When to the room, to redo completely. Stifling (curtains, canopies, ...), any small bathroom, and canvas ceiling that was not stretched ...

Location is quite easy to find, the is a parking. I attended a wedding and slept in a room with a mezzanine with 2 single beds below and 3 on top. Meals were great, nice brunch. There is a nice swimming pool. The only downside was that there were many bees flying around the Sunday morning while eating the brunch outside.

We were housed in the annexes, small rooms without air conditioning (only a noisy fan) small bathroom, no equivalence with a 3 * classification yet the price is that of a 3 *. Avoid on very hot days. Despite this, we must admit that the site is superb and the service excellent.

Besides the very pleasant welcome from the staff, no problem encountered in rooms with remarkably impeccable comfort (and yet at a very affordable price!). Add to that the bucolic setting of this magnificent castle as well as its delicious restaurant and you will have the perfect stay. A faultless for me, I will return with joy during my next stays in the region.
PS: a little extra for the pool on sunny days!
