Super luxurious, amazing ambience and excellent service!

Great place but overrated. We had lunch at the Italian restaurant and it was delicious (lamb shoulder, Caesar salad) however the mint tea "offered" at 70 dirhams unit is theft. To give a little context, the Caesar salad is 420 dirhams with truffle caviar and lobster worth 6 mint teas "offered".



In short, shame ... Given all the tourist circles in Marrakech, we would have preferred to be protected at Mamounia.

Rating is solely for the season pass we purchased which included a massage, full access to all facilities and lunch at the pavilion.
Aesthetically speaking, the hotel is beyond beautiful. We were so amazed by the gorgeous decor and the whole staff is extremely pleasant and accommodating. It was a pleasant experience.

The biggest let down was the massage and food. The massage was actually a body rub instead of an actual massage. Afterwards we still felt tight in our backs. The food didn t taste too fresh and meat was dry.

However, still 4 stars because it was a relaxing day, the staff was amazing, and it was a paradise compared to the hustle and bustle of the city.

Not as good as it should be. Need refurbishment urgently. A bit demode, and still have old dress code not well explained. Why do they ask for LONG TROUSERS, when in their documents they request Dress code SMART CASUAL, and in my point of view, this do not mean ""long trousers""

The hotel is very good. But I don't know live the reality of a great city like Marrakech

Hotel that preserves all the traditional without forgetting the comforts of the present. A refined luxury in every detail, without a doubt the Hotel La Mamounia is cataloged within the 100 best hotels,! There must be a reason !

Location: In Marrakesh, muynot far from the Koutoubia Mosque, in a residential area of hotels.

Facilities: OUTSTANDING, with all kinds of details, services and amenities. Pools, Restaurants, SPA, Massages, Gym, shops, etc.

Reception Service: Outstanding
Counseling: Outstanding.
Restaurants: Outstanding
Rooms: Hyper Outstanding.
Price: EXPENSIVE, but Luxury has its price and it is necessary to pay it.

Pool terrace with food service and its sun loungers around it VERY WELL, the only thing that can be annoying, are the abundant loose cats.

GLOBAL RATING: OUTSTANDING, I give 5 stars, for knowing how to maintain its essence, elegance in every detail and luxury in its purest form.

The visit of the gardens of Mamounia is open to all. Orange trees, giant cacti, old olive trees, jasmine, etc. make up this vast and lush garden. To complete the visit pause mint tea on the terrace. Very relaxing.

The top of the Moroccan hotel industry and in the world. Refinement and chic. The Mamounia SPA has been voted "Best SPA" in the world 5 years in a row. To visit absolutely and stay there at least once in your life if it's possible.

Very good. To go to its gardens, you have to cross the hotel through the reception. Lots of luxury. Garden very good care. Hotel for those who do not look at the money.

Wonderful place. This is one of the most beautiful places I visited. The gardens are sublime. This is a place I recommend for everything that is photo shooting.

Hotel of great luxury next to the gardens of the Kutubia. You can visit without being hosted.

Colorful mosaics, ceiling decorations, wood carvings are successful . It is useful to taste local dishes at Le Marocain restaurant in the hotel . The environment was very warm in Bar L'Italien. If you do not want to have problems, make a reservation for the spa.

5 stars for the magnificent, majestic, sublime gardens, to see ABSOLUTELY! I was won over by that and the outdoor pool. The spa is beautiful, especially the indoor pool, but far too crowded. 3 stars for the nice rooms but not up to the prices charged. Small bathroom and WC. Divine bedding on the other hand. Service and staff not up to par either. To have a great cocktail go to the indoor bar Mojito and excellent pink whiskey.
In short, no need to sleep there because it's expensive for nothing. Just take a relaxation pass giving access to the swimming pool, spa, hammam with a meal at the Italian restaurant. Around 300 for 2. Stroll through the gardens and play a game of tennis with Billal. Drink a cocktail before leaving and save your money for the Royal Mansour which is truly royal. Here are friends!

Nice cosy lounge for a drink in a 5 stars hotel. Live music starts at 6pm. There is also several restaurants. Be aware of the prices: Beers at 130 dirhams.

Its one of the most beautiful places in Maraces with lovely gardens

Such a beautiful hotel but unfortunately the first impression set the tone for my trip. I arrived 4 hours early for my reservation and didn t mind that there was no rooms available, I expected that. I was actually excited to spend some time on the beautiful property. As I was walking into the pool area a man stopped me and asked my room number. I explained that I was waiting for my room to be ready. He then got pretty mean - I offered my passport and he snapped that he needed a room number. He told me to give him my name and he would call reception. I felt like I was in trouble and did something wrong. I went back and sat in the lobby for 3 hours until a room was ready at 3:00pm because I was too nervous to walk around - I thought I had possibly broken a cultural rule. Looking back, I totally understand that tourists probably walk in often without reservations and he was asking for the safety of the guests. He just could have been nice. I was a guest too and he could have treated me with respect. I got my room key and let the front know what room I was in so they could bring my luggage. No one offered to show me to my room. After getting confused I finally found it.. I couldn t turn on any of my lights - I didn t know that your room key powered the room. I had to ask the man who delivered my bag. By then I felt like I did not matter in this hotel. I ve stayed in many incredible hotels. I am not high maintenance. I never remember the details but I do remember the hotels where the staff were kind and made me feel welcome. This is the only place where I look back and feel like I had a negative experience.

Very nice establishment

A real palace both for its environment and its human dimension. The hotel is magnificent for its architecture and decoration but above all for the soul it conveys. All the staff is at your disposal and when, unfortunately, you are the victim of a fault then everyone is active to repair the error and make you forget the inconvenience. Rare in beautiful and large places which denotes a great professionalism of this wonderful address.

A great hotel and you visit there even if you don't stay there. They are open for visit from 11am to 4 pm (for free). Great architecture and it's a must to visit.

Very nice hotel. But...

Beautiful Palace with a soul. But it would be difficult for me to stay here. Not in question of the price but I could not have spent a pleasant holiday in a museum visited permanently. Indeed it is not pleasant at all to have lunch on the terrace and have visitors passing by taking pictures of everything. By cons if you want to meet a friend on Marrakech, the Italian bar is the ideal place. Price correct for the place.
