The most beautiful resort I've ever seen! Such friendly staff and amazing amenities!

Had a fantastic massage, great food and drink by the pool. A terrific experience. I'd highly recommend.

My wife and I received a gift certificate for dinner for 2, a round of golf, a spa treatment and a 2 night stay for Christmas of 2012. This was a paid certificate and not some kind of promo thing. 3 months after getting the gift, we got pregnant and the next 18 months were w whirlwind. I just noticed that the certificate was set to expire about 18 months after we got it, last summer. I called and they told me that they would not honor a single cent of the paid value of the certificate and that basically I was out of luck. I had mentioned that I was interested in finding out more about their golf membership as well and then she ended the call by telling me that they would contact me about a membership. What nerve to think that I would want to spend money at a place that just treated me in such a dismissive way. Horrible business practice to not even apologize or sympathize about my situation where they took money for nothing in return.

The finest in Southern California luxury resorts! World class golf and tennis, incredible day spa experience, great food. Everything you need to recharge.

Went there for a Navy Ball, so only saw the ballroom... But was pretty nice nonetheless.

This resort is simply mind blowing. We are members here so we staycation by the pool or any of their delicious restaurants frequently. They have child care service where they offer amazing programs for kids (also date night care available on certain days)
It is a huge property so it offers much, I could go on and on. Definitely worth a visit or a membership!

My star is for the accounting department, not the hotel stay. If you have an issue with a receipt, don't expect to get a call back. No one seems able to help me with my simple request. I hope to never have to deal with this hotel group again.

Attended a work event at the ballroom and a conference room. The groubds were well kept and thd fold amazing. The AV team did a wonderful job for our event. Only on site a few hours but a great venue.

The room I am staying in is beautiful and comfortable. It is very clean. Brooke at the service desk is very nice and helpful! Other members of the staff are also incredibly helpful. It has been a great stay!

Luckily I have never had to pay to stay here as I've always been to conferences paid for by someone else. Staff are always friendly and the rooms are wonderful.

The Resort was great. Accommodations were perfect! The service was top notch. Everything was just perfect. Ohh, and the golfing is world-class quality dual courses. Definitely will be staying here again!

We attended a few weddings there and enjoyed the resort atmosphere. It is very well maintained, staff is really nice. Parking is a Biggest plus point. For any event they provide valle parking for attendees. We didn't have to walk from far with our high heels. I enjoyed every event I attended there.

Great place, helpful staff helped sort out a room issue. Wish we had set aside more time to enjoy the pools and grounds.

On their way to 5 star but service isnt that stellar. They need Disney or Ritz to come train staff. Often youre made to feel you are putting them out. They lack attention to making your experience here great.

This gorgeous resort is a great get away for couples and families! Beautiful groomed landscaping and pristine architecture surrounds you. The rooms are large, with a good selection of different types to match your needs. There are multiple restaurants, places to relax, and stellar pools. This is a fantastic destination.

If you are not claustrophobic, you may service the queen size room. The outside is beautiful, spend as much time outside as possible because if you are thinking of watching pay per view, you will not be able to due their bad server that can't handle too many people watching it. My advice, find another place if you can.

Wow, what a fantastic property! Two really fun golf courses to play, several excellent restaurants and bars to choose from. Plus the whole place has a classy, but laid back vibe.

We were upgraded to a villa room, which was fantastic because the room was huge. The staff were very friendly, and helpful both at the concierge and restauants. The grounds were large and beautiful, and the multiple pools were gorgeous. Highly recommended.

Very pretty, but almost every amenity is very pricey

Beautiful but strange. Went to an event. Things are difficult to find and parking was an absolute nightmare. If you have to come for something formal, try to wear flats. Customer service was excellent. I think some of the buildings are actually condos.

Beautiful atmosphere, staff was extremely pleasant and it all started with an awesome man at the front desk! His name was Javon and he went above and beyond. He upgraded out signature room to a suite for my birthday then while we went out to eat left a wonderful bottle of wine and fruit basket. We had the most relaxing time at the Omni and we will definitely be coming again.

Great hotel/resort in a good area. Surrounding homes, and therefore the view, it's a little run-down. Resort itself is in excellent shape for its age. Very expensive for what you get but you're paying for the locations.

Great location with excellent services and friendly staff. One word of warning, a friend had their bag go missing (same last year) and found in a staff room.

I played golf here. The course was in great condition, and the staff was very courteous.

Unfortunately, I found this place to be a circus. With a tee time at 10am, I did not expect that early of a check in but the front desk told me they would call when my room was ready. At 2pm, no call so I went to the front desk and the room was ready but I was never notified. After that, I went to the adult only pool where one bar tender was working. My group ordered drinks that took 1.5 hours to arrive and that was only two of the three we ordered. The other arrived another 30 minuted later. I tried ordering drinks at the bar to try and speed up service but the single bar tender was overwhelmed with all orders and after 30 minutes, I gave up. After the pool I went to order a pizza which I figured would be 30-45 minutes. After an hour I asked for an update and was told my order still was in fourth position behind the others. I asked for a refund and left. I still have one night left here and have very low expectations for Bob s Steakhouse which is the on-site restaurant. Wish me luck and hope we get our food before midnight. Ground here looked great but that does not justify any rating above 1 star.

This is a very large nice resort. It include a golf course, several pools anf has lots of activities for families and kids. It is laid out in a campus like atmosphere.

The barista, Marco, was just such a friendly guy. He knew what he was doing and has awesome customer service. Will return because of him.

We had dinner at VUE. The view is excellent...as expected, service was decent but not on the level as the other restaurants and venues on site. Complimentary valet for a restaurants is a huge plus.

This place is always been a good standby for locals very upscale very popular with the international community now in the business crowd it has a wonderful spa in addition to an executive course which is worth the time

Beautiful, large, tastefully-furnished room with large spa style tub with separate shower with rain shower head. The property is gihugic with 8 pools! Overall a magical experience!

I came home with 25 HUGE mosquito bites all over me after 2 days. I had to leave early because I was getting eaten alive (WITH good bug spray)! Not in a good location (next to a marsh?), or maybe I just went during a bad week? The room was good and the pool area is really fun for the kids. We won't stay here again though, unfortunately.

My family loves La Costa Resort. The rooms are nice and the extra large tub is great. The pools are delightful even in winter. The gym is amazing. I highly recommend this family friendly resort.

I went to visit a friend who was staying there. Very nice rooms, amenities, etc. My only concern is the number of towels they have at the pool.

Extremely Disappointed!! The hotel's amenities and landscaping are amazing but the rooms need some maintenance and daily care. We stayed in room 510 for $400/night. The room smell disgusting and the room cleaning lady did a bad job. We order in room service 3 times and was disappointed with the food. In one occasion our food smells and tasted like fish and it was a pizza and fries. We left it all there more than $100 tossed to the trash, not something I enjoyed doing but it was really disgusting. My stay was supposed to be for 5 nights instead I left after the second night couldn't sleep in that room any longer. I had better service from a 3-star hotel then this "5-star" hotel. I don't recommend this hotel. They are plenty better in every aspect, around the area or Downtown.

Such a great place to spend the weekend. Very kid friendly. First time here definitely will be planning another trip

This place clearly used to be posh, but it has been ridden hard. The amenities and food/drinks are great, but the service is so/so, and the property needs an update

I booked at La Costa thinking of a nice 5-star experience weekend getaway. I remember seeing the commercials on local TV showing a nice relaxed resort with good looking adults swimming, playing golf and at the Spa. The reality is quite different. The golf and Spa are fine, but this resort is apparently 'family place'. Kids, and screaming children everywhere!. Even though you can get away from the thousands of kids running around by staying on the golf course, or staying at the Spa, there's not one moment where you're hearing children and seeing children everywhere! Noise, noise and more noise. I think we were the only ones without children. We went to 8:30PM dinner in an attempt for a quieter time, but we were the only ones in the 15-20 tables that didn't have kids. Kids running through the hallways at all times of the day. Screaming kids start at 6AM and the walls are thin. There's no way to relax at this resort. You can try to stay at the adult (crowded) pool, and the Spa and Golf course, but everywhere else there's wall to wall kids. Was not a relaxing weekend.

We visited the resort for a Christmas event and it was just beautiful, great service and friendly staff.

The Spa at Omni La Costa as absolutely first class. I went in for a Massage and relaxing day by the pool... The Massage was fantastic and the spa services were excellent. They offer a sauna, steam room, hot tub, cold plunge, heated pools (I'd estimate around 85 degrees warm), plenty of lounge chairs, and poolside food and drink service. All of this is on impeccably maintained grounds with attentive service.

Highly recommended... I'll be going back, with my wife next time!

Played golf. Awful conditions. Let's start with arrival. You drive up and there is no offer to take your clubs and you are directed to a parking lot that is a 5 minute walk. No shuttle before or after the round. The tee boxes are unlevel and patchy grass. All the grass is just roots and thatch. Fairways and rough are spotty, dirt, thatch, roots. Greens were aerated 2 weeks ago and not even close to healed.

I can't even put into words how bad this course is. For $100 I expected a nice course, probably only worth $30.

This was our third time here. The resort is beautiful from the room, grounds, pools and golf courses.

The omni resort is clean, large and beautiful views of hills and golf course. The rooms are decent, clean and not too lavish; I would say they are just right and what I expected. Food options can be better, but the bistro is okay and good enough. Pretty resort and enjoying my stay.
