First up - I love plays and I really love musicals. So right there is enough reason to give this place a decent review in my book. They are a dinner theatre where the ticket price includes a meal with the show. The meal is pretty good - soup or salad at the table, then down to a buffet-style serving with many veggie options as well as usually two meats being carved right there, then followed by a dessert served back at your table. There are about eight to ten items to choose between on the buffet. You can also order drinks from a good selection including a special drink that is inspired by the play or musical you have come to see. The production is much better than the food - the stage is a good size, the sound system and lights are better than most community theatres and they usually have good talent and costumes. I had to take a star away because the food isn't what it could (probably should) be, but this is still a good time and an unusual night out.

I have been here many many times and La Comedia has NEVER disappointed. Not only are the shows amazing, the good is to die for!! They make an in house papaya dressing for their salad that taste like heaven on a plate. Their sweet potato soufle is mouth watering Good! We recently saw Beauty and the Beast. What they did for the Be Our Guest Scene was simply astonishing! This place is great for the family, for anniversaries, young and old. Totally worth the price!

LaComedia has great food, entertainment and service. It was very cozy and quiet and a great place to enjoy a night out with family and friends. The only downfall is the seating. The chairs are VERY uncomfortable especially to be sitting in for 4-5 hours. It mad3 for a long night. But the show and service were excellent

Never disappointed in the show or the buffet. The food is really excellent and the servers are very efficient and friendly. In my opinion the acting is very good and the stage is close. The shows are always changing so it is not hard to find one you will enjoy. The guests who show up early get to eat first, but the wait is not too long no matter when you arrive.

I cannot believe people have said the buffet is good. Chicken liver, fried gizzard, Mac and tomato's, and some of the most try carved meat I have ever tasted. Soda is by the glass,so no refills. Wait staff is not very friendly. Theatre is pretty and good amounts of room. Expected more from the food for the price. I really hope you're not a vegetarian or a vegan.

Been here three times now, and have always been impressed. Would have given 5 stars, except this past time we were there, our table didn't get service. After our salad came, nobody came by to refill our drinks, get us dessert, or ask if we needed anything. It was probably just an oversight or miscommunication.

That being said, the food is awesome and the the plays are well done and entertaining. Would highly recommend, and looking forward to going back!

Really nice venue for plays & music. Buffet usually good, but the lemon pepper chicken was dry, very dry. Preferred when they did their famous baked chicken which was always flavourful & moist & tender.

Great food, customer service and amazing performance. Took my mom for her 58th birthday to see the Color Purple; she smiled from the time we arrived until the time we left. They even accommodated our seating arrangements!

We watched Mark Reuter and others in the musical Annie. The entrance and ticket area are very nice with plenty of parking. The discount we mentioned was honoured. Our waitress was pleasant and knew her business. There were plenty of choices More

Unorganized when seating people, should have had two entries, but food and show were good. Beware it runs long. I was hoping they were concurrent but we arrived at 10:30, got seated at 11 ate at 1130, show started at 12:45, left at intermission at 2:20. Heard it ended at 4.

It just wasn't a great experience. We waited so long to be greeted by our server, people were going up to the buffet already. If we hadn't stopped a busser, we never would've gotten a salad. When we were finally greeted by our server, all she did was complain....every time she interacted with us. She was tired, she couldn't understand why everyone was ordering from the bar, she couldn't wait for her break....I don't care! She even discouraged us from ordering from the bar because they were so backed up! It just wasn't pleasant up to the point the show started and then the show started...whoa. It was bad. We left at intermission. Can't imagine we will be back.

The food was good, the performance good, nice facilities BUT ... I was there with a group of senior citizens from our local YMCA. Apparently every Y from Tipp City to Cincinnati was there, as well as two tour buses! The building did not open until 10:30, leaving several busloads of seniors, many on walkers, canes or in wheelchairs, to turn around and get back on their buses rather than stand in the cold. Our group leader said it's never been such a mess. They really needed to have people arrive at staggered times so everyone could get in and seated comfortably instead of so much confusion.

Fun place to visit and very enjoyable. The food is good, buffet style, and the shows are great. Although not Broadway, they do a great job acting and bringing people in. Some shows, if not all, use midi for music - seems outdated, but works.

It was very nice. My only issue was seating. Some sections seating it is hard to see the live performance. Otherwise it is something that I would visit again. I would just make sure I am selective about seating.

I Went with a large group of military spouses for the matinee. What a wonderful event.
We were a group of about 40 women aged 30+ to 60+. We had a great time and were placed in a variety of location. Groupings ranged from 4 to 8 to a table. Our table was on the floor right in front of the stage, I think one row up might have been better, but ours was still a great seat. We got there at 10:30 for seating and didn't leave until almost 3:30. We saw Elf, it was a great way to kick-off the holiday season ( even before Thanksgiving) They served a salad with a delicious dressing (it could be bought in the gift store) Once at the buffet they served us breads, green bean, mashed potatoes with gravy, a sweet pineapple casserole, sweet potato casserole, fish, turkey and stuffing, and ham. They offered seconds too, but round one was very filling. They then brought coffee and cheesecake for dessert. They also offered a special Buddy drink with fruit loops on a strawberry daiquiri in our souvenir glass. Fun touch. We enjoyed it very much.
