Pre-litigation only

Caution: This firm primarily focuses on prelitigation services. In my case, they discontinued representation just days before the deadline to file a lawsuit, leaving me in a challenging position to find another attorney at the last minute. It’s important for potential clients to be aware that the firm’s scope is limited to the prelitigation stage. This might influence the dynamics of negotiation, as opposing counsel could be aware of the firm’s limitations and anticipate their strategy. I would recommend prospective clients to thoroughly understand the extent of representation and consider this when seeking legal assistance for time-sensitive matters.

I definitely should've listened to the reviews before hiring this law firm.I hired them November of 2016.The EEOC issued my right to sue a few days ago only for this law firm to drop me.It is the smoothest scam known to man. They told me i had a case with no desire to ever represent me in court. My initial lawyer was Jordan.A couple months later i get a email saying my new lawyer is Jeff Del Rio.With no explanation or anything. So theres a period of waiting w/ no updates or communication.I finally speak to Jeff only to discover NONE of my evidence submitted were transferred. He then nonchalantly requests me to send it again. On top of that once we file the EEOC charge, the secretary sends me someone else's charge. After every conversation with Jeff i left more and more less hopeful.I felt like i was interrupting his vacation everytime we spoke.Seemed to be very unmotivated, tired, professional "acting"along with his secretary Katlynn.(i saw right thru it)Your case is definitely out of sight out of mind until the next time you call.Last but not least its always a hassle to get a live person or any updates on your case.Save your money and yourself a headache and file your own EEOC charge. And get a lawyer once you have your right to sue letter. On to the next.Lackluster, awful and fake it til you make it kind of service is what i got.

Response
"Owner" you have your opinions and i have mine.so i guess i just picked this law firm and started telling lies. You claim there all lies but you dont explain. How clever.I'm sure Jeff and Kaitlynn know who i am.They should know me by name.

They are nice, but that doesn t really help right any wrongs. My advice would be hire a law group that has more experience and more clout that goes with their name. This firm only wanted to make their 40% cut in a lazy way by just looking to negotiate a settlement. When that doesn t work, they will decline to pursue your lawsuit out of fear of losing and risking the possibility of being counter sued for legal fee. Not to mention taking weeks to have what would amount to an email or phone call. So let my lesson the hard way be an example to you.

The entire process with Spielberger Law Group went smoothly and professionally. What Spielberger Law provided was perfect for my situation. I did not have to interact with my former employer so there was no stress involved and everything was resolved to my satisfaction. The attorneys and assistants were particularly concerned, considerate, & professional. I would certainly recommend using this law firm for any issues you may have with your employer.

They will take your money as LONG as they can. Very "weak" lawyers! Just trying to get your payments as long as they can. Then they just say they cannot do anything more for you. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!

Huge crooks! How can they expect 40% and then ask 400 dollar retainer fee and monthly payments for paperwork etc. I had dealt with a few lawyers and never have I heard of a retainer fee for a lawyer who was charging 40%! They never even charged 40, the most was 33%. They weren't even sure if they could represent my husband, yet wanted the retainer fee to get started. We had a lawyer for over a year before and we had non stop communication yet his fees were only 30% & 90 dollars for shipping our check over night and any other fees that accumulated. But yet these guys want a certain amount every month, by the time the case is solved u would of handed them over every dime.

DO NOT use this firm. They will tell you what you want to hear to get your money and then pretty much drop you. I didn't want to believe the other reviews and against my better judgement, signed their agreement form. They have junior attorneys working for them, which should have been the first sign. Seek legal assistance elsewhere. They take a huge chunk of your winnings, if you do win, but they will not fight for what you want. I was assured I had a case and then when it came down to it, they made it feel like it was my wrong doing in not providing them the information they asked for. I am sure they will respond to this saying otherwise. DO NOT BE SCAMMED LIKE I WAS.

i was represented by the Spielberger Law Group. I had to pay some money had monthly fee and never even got to meet a person. Never knew who i was talking to besides a few emails. Horrible service !! Got a phone call months down the road stating they did not have the resources to help any longer with my case. I didn't receive a referral even though i asked. I was not told where my case stood and what where the next steps. I did not receive any of the physical paperwork i took to them back. Unprofessional If i only knew where to go from here, i will find the next step and when i do i will let everyone i know never to go with these people.

I started with this firm back in 2017, they charged me a retainer fee of $400 and $35 monthly onward to handle my case. Communication was always good and they kept me informed about the case. Unfortunately, the former employer was not interested in settling for the case. Spielberger dropped my case this month, and I was told their "litigation team" does not want to take on my case. Although, the service provided was excellent, I am disappointing they took my case when they knew they wouldn't proceed with litigation in the end. Additionally, after speaking with several litigation attorneys, they were surprised I was charged fees during the case pre-litigation. I would recommend the firm, although I would have rather sought an attorney who could have fought the whole way. Thank you Spielberger law for working with me.

Although my case is somewhat successfully completed, my experience with Jeff DelRio was subpar/underwhelming. He did not go into my meeting with my former employer prepared. He was thoroughly unprepared even when I asked him to be prepared and know the details of my case. DelRio kept telling me that he's been practicing law for a long time and that our meeting will be smooth. Well, when we got there my employer was freely telling lies and misrepresenting me and DelRio did nothing. We ended up settling for pennies as a result. Honestly, he is unmotivated and appears to not really believe the client. Really horrible things happen to people at work at the hands of the employer and people need to be protected. Don't choose a lawyer who doesn't care.

I dealt with Jeff DelRio, who I found quite underwhelming, and came across fearful of his adversary. He promised much and delivered on nothing. His word is meaningless, so get it in writing.
I pray for him.

Attorney Jeff Del Rio is great at what he does! He fought hard for my rights and even answered several questions after the agreement and when I had follow up questions a month later. The Spielberger Law Group has treated me very well and I highly recommend them due to their customer service, professionalism, follow up, quick response time, and their willingness to help.

They do nothing for you. They don't litigate on a regular basis. Makes them worthless. Trust the negative reviews on here. Don't get sucked into retainer, up front fee and $35 a month maintenance fee.

It was an absolute pleasure working with this firm. Everyone was courteous and very knowledgeable. I was nervous about filing at first however they made it very easy. My attorney was Gary Martoccio and he was great! He always returned calls and emails, I was kept in the loop every step of the way. He was able to get me a fair settlement in a short amount of time. I'am greatful to have worked with him and the others. If you need a attorney I would recommend them actually I already have to my friends and family. Excellent firm!

This Law Firm went above and beyond for me. I honestly didn t think I was going to have a case that would actually be considered. Mr. Chris Fennell was my attorney, I can not give this man enough credit for the work he did. I never once had to confront/discuss anything with the former employer. Always kept me informed on every move. The firm was very knowledgeable and very responsive. I honestly wasn t bothered by the retainer fee & monthly payments. The settlement was much more than anticipated and a quick payout! If I ever have another employment issue, I definitely know where I m going! Thank you again Mr. Fennell, and Spielberger Law Firm!

Currently working with this group since July 2017....

Currently working with this group since July 2017. Found out yesterday tht i have to go thru the EEOC which could take anywhere from 6 months - 2yrs. Hopefully I am not paying the monthly fees for 2 years since I m out of work. I referred a coworker and he was told the same thing a week ago about having to go through the EEOC and that he will continue paying the monthly group fees till it s over. Ive talked to my attorney twice and the last scheduled meeting I received a call from someone else there. Also I didn t physically meet them. Anyway if we don't win the higher ups will determine if they want to push further and if so new retainer fees will be associated. There is also a chance tht The EEOC will find the case neutral n nobody wins..or you just might win. Myself and the coworker I referred to the group were told that we had a case by this group before we paid the retainer fees so we will keep our fingers crossed for the best and share with the readers how we both make out. The firm also never mentioned to me that I was fired; I had to find out through the employer. Then the firm dismissed me 1 day after reading my acurate review.

I hired Spielberger Law Group LLC, on April 29, 2014, to represent me in a claim. We reached resolution yesterday, February 20, 2015. I worked with Attorney Jason A. Watson, Legal Assistant Yanira Olmega and most recently, Kaitlin Conklin. My experience was better than I had hoped. In the months we worked together, all were professional, very courteous, compassionate, arranged calls were punctual and almost most importantly, I felt they were supportive in my claim. In my limited experience with law groups, my expectations were exceeded and I absolutely recommend them.

I was extremely disappointed. They tell you to contact your employee with the problem but they do absolutely nothing to intervene on your behalf . I thought they had the ability to the case to court should the employee refuse to mediation . I was told my lawyer Gary , they do not go to court on your behalf . They simply tell you can no longer handle your case. Thats the end

I reached out to Spielberger Law Group in May 2017 and I was totally blown away by the courtesy that I received from the first time I called. I was contacted back fast by an attorney and I was told what I needed to do and everything that was told to me was made very understandable. These people who I dealt with made me feel assurance and they always kept me up on what was going on with my case and they just made me feel so worry free. I am a positive person and I felt a positive energy back from them. I knew in my heart that I contacted the best and as fast as June 2017 it showed me that I was indeed accurate . I thank everyone who was involved in my case and I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart. I highly recommend Spielberger to anyone who is in need of a lawyer. Again thank you all and God bless My Warmest Regards To Whom All This May Concern!!!

Waste of $350 deposit (my opinion) I should have known better and read reviews more carefully. Anytime I asked questions of attorneys, I was belittled, and talked down to. Mine was a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience.

At first I was hesitant to work with a law firm that didn't have a brick and mortar location in my state. I recently concluded my business with my attorney through the mediation process with the EEOC. I had been let go from my 15 year position at which I was a top performer and dedicated employee for some 'small print' policy regarding contact with other employees. I was hoping to get vindication. I highly recommend Spielberger. My attorney was always in contact with me either by email or telephone. He guided me and listened to my concerns. Never having met my attorney was not a barrier in his superior handling of my case. Thank you, Jeff DelRio
