La Choza Nautica is a great Peruvian restaurant. It's located in Midtown, across from a parking garage, so there's always parking if you can't find it on the street. They're plenty of tables that sit 4 and they're always willing to accommodate larger parties. The staff always have a smile and very friendly, even those who don't speak Spanish. They have a daily special which brings a soup, rice (sometimes with beans) and a protein with a small side, like potatoes. It's only $9! You can also pick it up, but they will charge extra for sauces. Eat it in and you can eat all the sauces you want. The food is always delicious and highly recommended.

I did not like the fishing tiradito at all, it was bitter, it had no flavor, the lomo saltado more or less the meat seemed to be parboiled and had a lot of vinegar, it was not to our liking.

I got the lomo saltado. It was a huge portion and a fair price. It's really a dish you should split with someone. It was kind of salty but flavorful nonetheless. We did have a wait a lot even for food that was already prepared. The place is a little crowded and the service was alright. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

The service was great, the food was outstanding! I had a "Personal portion" of steak that literally took up the entire plate. It had a nice, clean and homey atmosphere and a friendly staff. It had been a while since I had Peruvian food, and I knew I liked it. La Choza Nautica brought back some outstanding memories. It was delicious.

I stopped in here for lunch just a little over a week ago on Super Bowl Sunday. I was waiting for a co-worker to arrive at Newark Liberty Airport and what a fantastic decision that was! The service was great, the food was outstanding! I had a "Personal portion" of steak that literally took up the entire plate.

It had been a while since I had Peruvian food, and I knew I liked it. La Choza Nautica brought back some outstanding memories. It was delicious. The next time I have a layover, I'll take the 8 minute trip to Elizabeth to eat here again.

I see everyone gave this restaurant 4 stars its either support or race, I only gave this place one star because it was needed in order to write an review. First off my waitress serve me my food and didn't return to check if I needed anything AT ALL , but make sure she came to get the check. Next the food was old I ordered the chicken and rice and it all was old. Returning to this place is not an option, like I said it might just be a race thing asyou can see I'm black.

Tasty
