I have been seeing Dr. Ohri for over 20 years. She is fantastic. She is always patient, caring and professional. Furthermore, her office staff are always courteous and they listen as Dr. Ohri listens. If I have to wait to see her I understand. I know Dr. Ohri is very through and that I truly appreciate.

WORST DR EVER! My nightmare with Dr. Ohri took place over 7 months. Long story short I have always been healthy until one day when I started getting bad stomach pain on one side. I went to her and she gave me the wrong diagnosis of a bruised rib. I continued to suffer for weeks and went back to her. After several other tests and several other wrong diagnosis I was getting very depressed. I was so scared and worried I had something very wrong. My pain got so bad and eventually spread to both sides and I had to quit my job and spend most of my days in bed for months. Every time I would go to see her I would have to wait at least an hour to see her and when I would try and tell her my symptoms and let her know how scared I was she would always cut me off and ignore what I had to say. One night my pain got so bad I had to go to the ER and the dr there told me I needed an MRI. I made an appt with Ohri to discuss getting one done and she shut me down immediately. She kept saying it wasnt medically relevant although I knew it was ( I have some medical background.) After arguing with her and holding my ground she finally gave in and wrote me up an order.I noticed she only made the order for my thoracic spine even though I have always told her my lower back was hurting. I was so frustrated I went to another DR and the difference was night and day! My new DR was everything DR Ohri wasnt and she told me I was right to need my lower back and an MRI was definitely medically relevant In conclusion, Dr Ohri has no compassion, no patience, NO bedside manner and cant make a diagnosis to save her life. She was rude and even sarcastic to me. She was also very hard to get medication from. Every time I asked for a refill she looked at me like I was a drug addict. She also had the nerve to indicate that my pain was "in my head" When you are scared and in pain, the last thing you need is a dr that thinks you are lying! It is the worst feeling in the world! After seeing a new Dr, I CANT BELIEVE I wasted almost a year going to a dr that doesnt give a crap about me. Not to mention her office staff are terrible too. They all have an attitude, especially a girl named natalie that will never answer the phone to give you your lab results. You have to leave a message and you will be lucky if you hear back from them. I usually had to call several days in a row. I think if Ohri were to get sick, she would finally understand how scary it can be and maybe she would start to have some compassion and as angry as I am, I would still wish her a better dr than she was to me
Thank you to Dr. Ohri. I came to Dr. Ohri looking for a second opinion confirmation of a planned medical procedure. After review she recommended a different course of treatment. She referred me to a surgical Oncologist who agreed with her revised course of treatment for my condition. Due to Dr. Ohri's quick action and diagnosis the surgery she recommended saved my life. My cancer was caught in early enough stages, surgically removed and I do not need any further treatment other than regular follow-up every 6 months. Thank you Dr. Ohri for taking such great care of me .
I have been a patient of Dr. Ohri for the last three years. Recently I was on the internet to refer Dr. Ohri s contact information to one of my colleagues. I was reading some of the reviews posted on Dr. Ohri and her medical practice. In my appointments with Dr. Ohri, I never had to wait more than 12 15 minutes in her office to see Dr. Ohri as these posts suggest of the absurd wait times. I tell myself - when you are sick and in the office of a professional to be seen, you have to give the outmost respect to the doctor to take care of your sickness. The doctors are professionals they have spent numerous years of their lives studying medicine, have made many sacrifices to be a professional, now that they are doctors they see patients and they do run late you got to think to yourself - are they doing this on purpose or are they giving more time and attention to their patients. Well, I know this - Dr. Ohri is a calm, patient, caring and intelligent person, and I have told her this many times. When I do come to see her for my pains or any issues, they go away seeing her because of her kind, peaceful and caring personality. I feel I am blessed to have her as my care taker.
Not a place for "new" patients. Unprofessional office staff. Do not recommend.
I made an appointment and waited 6 weeks to be seen. Drove 25 miles to see this doctor only to be told that there's a $150 charge to "talk" to Dr. Ohri and that insurance will not cover that cost (this was supposed to be an annual physical just to check my blood/vitamin levels, something that is covered by insurance). The office did inform me beforehand that Dr. Ohri does not do physicals on the first visit, only on the 2nd appointment, but they never informed me of this fee. I spoke to the office staff 3 times over the phone prior to the appointment and was never informed of this payment policy. The woman who was working the front desk (the same person who called me the day before the appointment, twice, first confirming it, then calling again and rescheduling it for a different time in the day) said she's sorry and that's their policy, but "she'll see what we can do". She then said she spoke to the office manager and that unfortunately there's nothing they can do. They didn't even offer me parking validation, though they were generous enough to offer to shred the 6 pages of personal information I had to fill out prior the appointment.
On 1/12/2016, I checked in for my 10am appointment with Dr ohris associate. It is now 11:54 am and I am still waiting. It's been like this consistently with orhi or other doctors (last 3 years?). Waiting regularly close to1.5 to two hours after checking in. Decided this is my last time here and will move on to a new primary. Ohri is a caring doctor but our time is valuable too and the doctors here should respect other peoples time. And to top it off, they will only validate for two hours so now I'm paying for parking as well $6.
Dr Ohri is an excellent Doctor. It's obvious she is extremely concerned with the health and well being of her patients. She is the best Physican I have ever encountered. I highly recommend her. I feel fortunate to have her as my Doctor for the past 11 years
Waited 1.5 hours for an appointment to go over lab results. Kept being told she would get to me "in a few minutes." Why lie? When I finally saw Dr. Ohri there was no apology, no acknowledgement of the ridiculous wait. Furthermore, there was no follow up on items we discussed on my initial visit. Total waste of time.
Bringing my mother here for years, and when scheduled with dr. ohri, shes always running late at least 1 hr, behind. it's ridiculous! Her beside manner isnt the best. Her PA, Kasha is the best..extremely compassionate, patient, and manages to run on time!...
