I am always surprised by the diverse range of exhibitions at the Kunsthal. So I regularly pop in to marvel at all that beautiful, impressive and sometimes poignant art. Like the photos of Jeroen Oerlemans of the war zones where he has been and of his children.
Or the bizarre images and paintings of Michael Kvium in his 'Circus Europe'. You don't have to like this to be impressed. And always nice to enjoy all that beauty for a while by drinking a cup of coffee in the restaurant and browsing the museum shop.

Always nice exhibitions. The building is beautiful but impractical. And that arose on the day we visited the museum. The auditorium was closed, and then it became difficult to find hall 2.

Do not let the exhibition that we visited (Action and reaction) be of high quality.

The Kunsthal is a museum, but nothing reminds one of the image of dusty, old-fashioned and boring. With the changing exhibitions divided over the various halls, there is always something to find that is interesting regardless of your taste.

The Kunsthal is easy to reach by public transport, the tram stops on the Westzeedijk just around the corner. By car you can park in the Museumpark garage.

The Thierry Mugler exhibition that I visited yesterday in the context of art couples is sensationally good. Beautiful clothes and photos. It is a pleasant building to stay in anyway. And last but not least: delicious apple pie

I did not see the upstairs showroom in preparation for the next exhibition but it is fun to explore every corner of the Rem Koolhaas building with one exhibition ticket. You will be able to understand the spatial composition when you look around and compare with the sectional view image. The exhibits are also quite interesting exhibitions. In addition, the bookshop staff is very kind.

It was very busy and it was not exactly my kind of art. You really have to love it a little bit, otherwise it's not much. It just wasn't really my kind of museum. We also discovered a small mistake in a painting by p. mondrian.

Visited the Kunsthal on 5 February. The clothing shown was particularly surprising and gave me inspiration for a new oil painting. What a beautiful exhibition! If you have not been yet, go quickly before it is too late. YOU ARE LOOKING FOR YOUR EYES !!!! Too bad you can't feel the fabrics, touch them. Can that be overcome by placing a piece of fabric separately next to clothing?

There is much to see here and it has a spacious resting place where you can get food and drinks. It's just a pity that they had to leave school. If I had been here by myself, I would have enjoyed it more

A fantastic contemporary space.

Promoting and always showing avant-garde fantastic exhibitions like Couturissime the retrospective exclusive showcase for the great fashion designer Thierry Mugler.

Beautiful museum in a special architectural building by Rem Koolhaas. It does not have a permanent collection, but there are always fascinating and surprising exhibitions. From fashion to photography. You can park in the Museumpark parking garage located within walking distance. There is almost always enough parking space there.

From exhibitions about cats, to an exhibition about flight attendant clothing to controversial Robert Mapplethorpe photos. Everything is possible in the Kunsthal. Look in advance on the site what there is because in the 5 rooms it changes regularly. You can park in the reasonably affordable parking garage of Museumplein. Restaurant has a good lunch menu.

One of, if not the best art gallery in the Netherlands. Their exhibitions vary a lot showcasing all types of art from paintings, photography to installations and fashion. The current Victor & Rolf exhibition is stunning! Circus Europe from earlier this year was definitely one of the best I've seen in the past couple of years.
