I went specifically to see the Mugler exhibition. The clothes were beautiful but the mannequins looked cheap. And the projection displays weren t working the whole time we were there. I was also treated very rudely by a guard for looking at More
Good museum with always a diverse and changing range of exhibitions ... Definitely worth it ...
The Kunsthal is a museum without its own collection instead continually hosting 4 or 5 temporary exhibitions. That's both the charm and the problem. The entrance price is quite high, assuming you will visit all exhibitions. If you're only interested in a few or, worse 1, it gets quite expensive. Museumcard holders have free entry, so personally that's no concern to me.

Building is fascinating but poorly designed. Is for architect, not for visitors. Lost, a lot of walking, strange entrance, disorienting. Impractical. Starchitect stuff.
Afrika expo slightly incoherent (for me) but still beautiful. Other exhibitions also good. Hyperrealism good. Mapplethorpe boring (but 99% of people don't think so!).

Very nice exhibition space with beautiful temporary exhibitions. They also organize very interesting events around the exhibitions. Also nice bar with terrace.
The building is a bit wacky but the Kunsthal frequently has excellent exhibitions, the recent exhibition of hyperrealist paintings being a good example.

The Kunsthal is really worth a visit. They always have multiple exhibitions for young and old. On our last visit we visited the scifi exhibition. The Kunsthal can easily be combined with the natural history museum opposite.

Beautiful collection! Only the objectivity collection in Hall 3 was a bit disappointing. And keep in mind that it can be busy!
The art hall itself is an interesting exhibition space. One time you will find the exhibitions extremely interesting and the other time you will probably not like them.

This is one of the coolest museums I know and I've been going there since childhood. The exhibitions are always changing and the building itself is very cool, there is always some room or walkway with something interesting going on. In the past I've seen expositions about Star Trek, Jesus, manga, Rembrandt, industrial design, popart, etc, etc. It also has a good restaurant and the surrounding area (museumplein) is somewhat of a must-see too.

Kunsthal always has great exhibitions and you can stroll around at your leisure.
Beautiful exhibitions built up with love and expertise. Nice and helpful staff. I still see points for improvement for wheelchair users, as well as internal and external signposting.

A beautiful museum under modern architecture, but the downside is that you hear and see perish in the cafe because of the terrible acoustics! All those talking guests cause an unimaginable noise so that I could hardly taste my apple pie. A bare concrete ceiling and special neon lighting may seem very artistic, but it is not functional at all. In addition, I found room 4, where the Joost Swartes were far too dark. A disappointment.
Come on time if you want to get a locker. The art is top.
