Museum with all kinds of exhibitions in the field of modern art in the broadest sense of the word.

Good museum with many (famous) exhibitions. Welcoming staff and enough space to put away coats and bags. The only downside is that you quickly do not know where to go through the building and where you are. In addition, a museum that is worth a visit if you do a day in Rotterdam and for the Rotterdammer who has not yet been there.

There was a nice exhibition that I wanted to see anyway. After lecturing from Groningen with public transport, I still had an hour until closing time. That was enough. Something like that is possible with a museum card. And also bought presents in the shop. It is a nice museum, but only a bit far away.

Nice and interesting presentation about hip hop culture.

Now a nice exhibition about the hip hop and beautiful sketches of Piranesi, which are very worthwhile.

A good day out. The surf tribe pics are so captivating. You can see the sea with in the eyes of this tribe.

Modern art museum with very good temporary exhibitions

Didn't think the exhibition was great. Tastes differ. I actually thought it was rubbish. Still, I think art is important and hope for a better next time.

Lot's of different things every time you go there. It's a big museum with interests for every person.

A lovely trip to the Kunsthal to see the Viktor & Rolf exhibition

Probably the Kunsthal is an icon of contemporary architecture, but the collection isn't in tune with contemporary art.

Went to the Kinetic Art exhibit (Actie - Reactie) and it is mind blowing. You can get exhausted when you go through it, but it is worth the visit. Other than that I always love the exhibits Kunsthal has. A nice variety, more abstract art than you have at Booijmans. Also, a nice restaurant to get a coffee and have a talk. I visit Kunsthal a few times per year, never cease to capture my imagination and love for art :)

I felt sorry for the guards. At least I could leave this dreck when I had enough

Rotterdam Museum of Modern Art. Let's say that it is more structured than temporary exhibitions rather than something always fixed. It's very big but a little confusing to me. At the end of my tour I realized that I couldn't find two rooms.
The price is not very high but closes immediately at 17, and already at 16 they advise you to come back the next day

As always, a great place and a great experience! Very well-thought, smart, varied and interesting choice of exhibitions! I'm now used to go there once per month. With the 'museum kaart', it's interesting, cost wise.

It is the most beautiful art gallery in the Netherlands, making it an excellent masterpiece of Rem Koolhaas and a wonderful exhibition with great content!

The action reaction exhibition is very cool. Very little explanation for individual works

Botero and Ghanaian film posters: very beautiful. You shouldn't be afraid of heights with the movie posters.

The Prince exhibition is brief. Currently little interesting further. Recently a nice multimedia exhibition and hyperrealism.

Very nice place, great halls and good lighting for the show and can facilitate different types of art works. I was there for the latest works of Picasso which was quite impressive.

Went to the exhibitions of V & R and Actie-> Reaction.
Please inform your attendant that they are hall guards from a renowned exhibition space and not prison guards.
Just as the public art hall expects a certain dedication, the public also expects the guards to exude a certain professionalism and hospitality.
By allowing yourself to be maneuvered continuously in the course of the audience and to show 'explicitly' that you are there is very disturbing to the experience of some pieces of art.
The audience had to stand aside for them while they walked through the hall. This is not possible! And then I also do not agree on the outfitting of the children present. I did not really blame the children because at the Actie> Reaction exposition it is very poorly indicated whether interaction is needed with the artwork or not.

Nice park, somehow a pity that it is back in the shop for new construction of the museum depot.
