Beautiful gardens and a museum with impressive works of hyperrealism where the day passes without noticing it.

Impressive exhibition that is difficult to show on the photo

Came for the Thierry Mugler exp ended up being a eventful day.

Beautiful museum with fun and varied exhibitions. Also easy parking and close to Witte de With Street to have a drink afterwards. also free entrance with the Rotterdam Pass.

Well worth it. Make a reservation and bring a mouth mask. Large exhibition so the corona-stressed elderly like us can also go there. So do it!

One of the interesting art musea in Rotterdam. They usually have several expositions at the same time. These expositions are well and tastefully presented.
An interesting place for a 30 minute to 2 hour visit.

Great museum with modern art. Of course you have to turn on the current exhibition, but then there are often at least three at the same time. There is a great restaurant, lecture hall and a children's room with program. I always look at the offer when I'm in town. The building alone is already a special experience.

Good location, easily accessible by public transport and a park behind the building. However, I miss interaction in the museum and I am not fascinated by that. Signage in the building could perhaps be better. No idea if we skipped pieces.

Super fun educational place, especially because there is a lot to do in 1 place. Sometimes you are really confused, some have fallen, nothing bad about it. They also have fun history there (science fiction section).

The prices are acceptable, and if all goes well, you can even come in cheaper or with a Rotterdam card.

Nice exhibition about S.F. to spend a small two hours there is no punishment.

It is always a pleasure to come to the Kunsthal. Various interesting exhibitions per year. And as a fashion lover, there is an exhibition about a designer every year. That is enjoyment. Last week a nice presentation about Thierry Mugler viewed with beautiful clothing and designs.

Generally not really my favorite form of art, but still very nice to see during the museum night.

Beautiful museum that always knows how to excite and inspire. No collection of your own, but always special and varied exhibitions. One of the few museums where it is always different when you (often) come.

Super confusing layout and hated the collection at the time. Certainly has a nice collection, but if you are unsure where you want to go, go to Boijmans. If the exchange collection is disappointing, there is always the permanent collection.

Often beautiful exhibitions, but the building itself is a maze and halls are difficult to find.

Seen a lot of James Bond in the art hall! was very beautiful

We visit this museum fairly regularly, using our museum card. It is a beautiful museum built under architecture, with several different levels, where ever-changing, very diverse (but always fascinating) exhibitions can be seen.In the accompanying restaurant you can all day good for a snack and a drink.In the summer there is also a lovely outdoor terrace.Door the location in the Rotterdam Museum Park is always easily accessible, both by public transport (metro) and the car (underground parking) or on the bike (well-located cycle paths).

Open museum with often accessible and appealing themes (now Keith Haring). Love to come there, also in the Natural History next door and the park behind it. Don't forget to visit the restaurant under the art hall.

The (recently renewed) website does not excel in clarity. You have to pay attention. It's nice that you can scroll through the time to search all past exhibits.

Mostly trash-tier "modern art" that would have been a waste of time if free, but extraordinarily cost 12.

Today my first visit to the Kunsthal, especially for Science Fiction exhibition. In the margins I saw enough of the other exhibitions to plan a next visit.

No collection of its own, but a changing exhibition several times a year. Been to Victor and Rolf for 25 years now .... worth it ....

Good place for exhibitions and good food at the restaurant.

Exhibition about hyperrealism was super beautiful. At the same time, plastics made by Jules Deelder made from ballpoint pens and other disposable materials were on display. Very beautiful and also special work by Deelder.

Always good actually. Now selection of the private collection of art collector Rattan Chadha. And quite a nice building. Restaurant is very good

Fantastic museum. Good light rooms, nice and spacious. Good restaurant. And an auditorium of 300 places! Toilets are a bit of a quest . Museum card enters through the fast lane through the queue.

Great museum and the Science Fiction exhibition was phenomenal!

Modern building of 4 floors with small, intimate exhibition rooms. Downside: only on the ground floor is a toilet room with 6 toilets. Lunch is quite pricey, but tasty.

Again visited the art trade today. The kinetic art has been visited before. Today to Surf Tribe ...... wow really impressed.

Kunsthal Rotterdam is located in a beautiful building at Westzeedijk 341 in Rotterdam. The building is modern in architecture, has many rooms where the sunlight beams the artworks and meets the latest safety requirements after renovation. The art hall continues to attract large crowds of interested people with exhibitions on Prince, Jean Paul Gaultier, Peter Lindbergh, Dali and Botero. In short: a must to visit and one of the pearls of the city of architecture Rotterdam.

We visited the "Science Fiction" Exhibition in June 2019. A stunning experience.

Very nice exhibition of the clothing of Thierry Mugler.

Always nice collection, but the Thierry Mugler is very dark and too many visitors. Jeroen Bosch did appear in the Den Bosch museum a few years ago.

A great modern art place for young and old! In a nice parc of Rotterdam! The current hyperrealism and circus Europe exhibitions are must sees!

Nice museum with changing exhibitions, for me one more interesting than the other, but that is of course personal taste. Parking is difficult.

Beautiful exhibition Thierry Mugler. A little frustrating to not have more information on the technique behind the costumes.

Beautiful location. Well set up, large open spaces.

The quality of the exhibitions varies, which also makes it interesting. A visit is almost never the same.

Beautifully situated in the heart of Rotterdam. A must for art lovers. The building has no history, unlike all museums that have a historical past as a warehouse or trading center for the VOC. This building has an abstractness and simplicity that allows the Art in the building to come into its own. Also special is the proximity and good accessibility of museums in the area. You can also have a bite to eat. There is a large parking garage under the museum square. So you can confidently go to the center of Rotterdam by car to visit the Kunsthal.
