One of my current favorite bars in Philly thanks to FameLust. He always throws the best parties at KFN, there s never a dull night when he is involved!

Other than that the drinks are cheap and there s enough room to dance even when the place is packed! If you are planning on going check to see if FameLust is doing anything that night at Kung Fu Necktie, you won t be disappointed

This place charged the people in front of us $5 to get in & then charged us $7. Since we didn't have cash we used the ATM which was another $2.50. They didn't have change so we paid another extra dollar. At the bar there was a $20 minimum to use a card. The service was fine, the drinks we had were good but when it came time to close out they handed my card back with no reciept. When I asked for one they handed me the slip with the tip & total already filled out. It was really rude & confusing as to why they did that. The bathrooms were discusting and the experience was not worth the annoying little tactics of ripping people off.

good

I was here to see a preformer recently and found that there wasn't much room inside. I spent the entire show just catching glimpses of their heads while being jammed together with the other patrons like sardines. The drink prices are decent and the bartender did their job well enough. Access to the restrooms during the performance was severely limited. The interior was pretty cool and fairly well kept. The parking is non-existent, then again that's to be expected in the city. I probably wouldn't go again to see a preformer but that's just me, many people like this sort of scene and I can see why.

Fun place to go. Decorated cool. The stage/show space is in a separate room from the bar which is kinda nice for those who want to sit drink and chat and those who want to see the bands. Bathrooms were nasty no running water or flush system. They have a ton of good shows there, so go see some!

Shabti!

It's a fun bar and it's always a good hangout spot though with some reservations. Cash only covers are lame, and a lot of the times overcharge for the act to be honest. I only had change for the last two bucks of a cover so I had to run around to 7/11 to exchange them for dollar bills.

The cover is also a problem when you pay to see a show, but the venue is so small you can't even fit into the main area to see the band. The sound system is also inadequate to be honest. It might fit the vibe when it's just music playing, but people who come out to see specific artists want quality to the music. Lastly, I'll never forget the time I paid $12 for a Long Island just to watch the bartender pour Vlad into it. In the end it's always a good bet for a drunken night, but isn't the best venue for gigs.

One of the cooler bar/venues in the city. It's tiny and gets packed in on shows adding to an awesome experience. If you're not a fan of crowds and want to hang in the back it won't be ideal because it'll be very hard to see. Lots of awesome tours come through too. So great shows are quite regular. Also, awesome beer prices for a bar/venue in the city.

Went on one of the event nights where they play a certain kind of music, and it wasnt my usual scene, but I honestly can say I had so much fun. I woke up the next day with some guy's number saved as "? - KFN" so wherever you are, I had a good time lol

Great beer, great atmosphere, great people, and great bands. I saw Amigo these Devil and Harley Poe there and it was a great experience. It's a very cost venue so you get to see the bands right up close, or you can even listen to them from the bar if you wanted to.

I sold one of my very top favorite bands here and thoroughly was thrilled. It was very intimate warm happy friendly and pretty insight. I would go back in a heartbeat for another concert venue

One Philly's best kept secrets, this reasonably priced bar hosts some of the greatest acts in the city. From local legends like Tuff Crew to international stars like Eve, you never know who you'll catch performing. Also, the artwork on the building was done by internationally acclaimed artists like Nosego, Toro, Aerosoleon and Will "Kasso" Condry. That and a mix of some of the greatest DJ nights in the city and you have a world class spot with a local bar feel. Definitely suggest stopping thru!
