My son bought a Husqvarna Super Moto 701 last year...

My son bought a Husqvarna Super Moto 701 last year, 1 year old. All service was done. Shortly after the expiry of the 2-year warranty, the starter (electric starter) was broken. Upon request to the dealer where the service was provided regarding warranty / goodwill, he was advised to contact Husqvarna directly. He also did that, by email to 2 different direct editors and at Husqvarna itself as well. And as read receipts came again and again, but no answers, he did this a few times. Always the same. I am now about 2 months ago. Delivery time for the starter was also almost 2 months, so this year was already half the season for him.

I have never experienced such an unreliable company like this.

He has now paid himself the starter with just under 400, - and taken the long wait in purchasing.

I would never recommend this company again !!!!!

Really disappointing, two visits to the plant in A...

Really disappointing, two visits to the plant in Austria and no tour permitted. Lack of information on the website. Saw others had attended a tour on Friday mornings so off we headed, only to be told no tour. Also staff onsite told us the shop opened at 9am, subsequently told via email the shop was not open at all that day?

Nothing for visitors to look at, no museum etc.

Given KTM is the largest off-road motorcycle manufacturer you would think this side of the company would be better developed. KTM need to take a leaf from Ducati in Bologna, Italy or BMW, Germany. Really disappointing.

I love KTM bikes, but please launch KTM duke 125 to India please it's small and beautiful like duke 390, our Indian people is loving to buy it.some likes ,200, or 250 of 390 any way it also take a best by I love new 125 duke.please

In my case I bought a KTM 1290 Adventure in Octobe...

In my case I bought a KTM 1290 Adventure in October 2018 and a month later I detected that Bluetooth was not working properly. As of 03/22/2019 it still does not work ..
It is the 4th TFT screen that I have changed and without solution. It is a general problem with the new version that affects all new bikes.
1st visit in the workshop. It's just changing the Bluetooth part of the screen.
2nd visit. It is not possible to change the piece because it is integrated. They request a screen.
3rd visit. KTM suggests uninstalling the latest firmware and reinstalling. It is not possible since they need a special cable.
4th visit They receive the cable but it is not possible even remotely connecting the specialist.
5th visit. They request to change the whole screen, it is not possible since the code they have sent is not correct.
6th visit. They change the 1st TFT screen with the latest version of the software and the bluetooth does not save the configuration.
7th visit They change the 2nd TFT screen with the latest version of the software and the bluetooth does not save the configuration.
8th visit. They change the 3rd TFT screen with the latest version of the software and the bluetooth does not save the configuration. A day 22/03/2019.

As you can see the after-sales service only have a plan of action of "trial and error", even knowing that changing the TFT screen is not solved, insist on changing it again. I have invested a lot of time as you can see and I have not received any calls or emails from KTM in the last month, they have also closed the support phone so I do not have to give explanations.

Manufacturer KTM is advertising with false performance data (PS) (SD1290r 2014). The dealers also sold the motorcycle with the wrong performance data. Only by chance we found it and were very disappointed. According to a lawyer, this could even be checked, if it is not "quote: unfair competition". I would have done that if I had noticed earlier. But I and my friends have drawn the consequences and will never again buy a product from KTM or support the company in any way, who buys already products with false information. We certainly not. We want to meet the promised information, no matter what product.

Meanwhile, I even read in a motorcycle newspaper that not only in the PS number were made false information, but also the top speed and weight. What else can you say ...

Only one complain, here in India, very less skilled mechanics to handle the bike. Haven't been here but thanks to Bajaj Auto in India for bringing this Orange brand to us. Superb bike and awesome engineering. Riding KTM DUKE 390.

The KTM trekking bike is a classic on rough, wet and mountainous roads with the safety of my nocturnal solo tours.
(The pictured wheel survived an impact after a 10-meter flight through the air with almost no damage, only the luggage carrier was buckled). My guardian angels were also diligent. No breaks, just a concussion and a broken shoulder.

Unfortunately, as an Austrian, I have to say, stay away from KTM.
In every KTM forum most of the topic is defects.
I bought a new KTM myself, an amazing part in the NEGATIVE sense. Defects in the delivery, defective danch, almost weekly. KTM dealers are all arrogant and run around unsuspectingly in the shop, the mechanics exchange parts 1 to 1 according to instructions from KTM, they don't even know what they're doing.

If you want to have a motorcycle where you don't know it goes today or not, you can buy it. Who wants to drive and want to experience adventure should go to other manufacturers.
It's a shame that KTM builds such unreliable bikes.
You have internalized the money and the greed too much.

Ready to Race is not right here.

2 months ago I bought a Duke 125 for my son from a dealer in Styria (campaign model, last piece). Are living in Lower Austria, so we changed the dealer. After 50 km the spark plug was defective. Now after 2500 km the clutch is over. The best is coming now: downtime on the coupling kit at the beginning of September !!!!! That means that my son can now take the bus to work. Congratulations KTM for this lousy service and poor quality. Never against KTM. Think every Asian is better!

Drove from Budapest, arrived just before 2pm and saw the factory from outside, same as on the web site without the travel, was not aware tours were at 10 am and no place to purchase a cap or anything to take back to Australia,
Very disappointing then drove back to Vienna
Of all the highlights of my tripping around Europe, this was the only negative

Somehow these idiots hijacked my e-mail address, and I can't change the e-mail settings at their site or delete the account because given that I never created a password, I don't know it. Click their Contact link and you get a phone number and fax in EUROPE. No e-mail, nada. Eschew like plague.

We have bought 2 e-bikes KTM MACINA SPORT 9 CXS in total for 5,300. The wheels made a good impression. In the meantime we drove 350 km - z. At the moment the wheels are in the inspection.
Defects: an engine has come off; Handlebars disconnected several times, shifting: gears start with deceleration, very uncomfortable saddles, wide range display confusing.
But even more negative is that for questions to the customer service of KTM since 4 weeks no answer takes place. My questions related to the battery range. Even a letter to the CEO of the company KTM about 2 weeks ago has so far had no effect.
The wheels are good - if everything works - I would still give 3 to 4 points despite the shortcomings - but there is only one point because of customer service.

I bought new Duke 390 ten months ago and it spend 7 weeks in service already. Basing on the KTM estimation my bike will wait additional 4 weeks (minimum) for parts. I send few emails and opened a case in customer support with request to explain the situation but I did not received any reply.
Looks like KTM do not care about customers. Anyone know good lawyer? :)
