Although kroophold with a nice and cozy environment in quiet surroundings.

Wonderful environment in the reception and the halls.

Our first room smelled luke the sewers, got a new room. Weird smell here, but not the same. It was ok. The warm water in the shower was coming and going in the evening. There was a lack of warm water in the morning, but warm enough.

The breakfast was great.

It is a worn hotel - there is a lot of noise from cars and other guests. I had a hard time sleeping at night.
It rained one night and it loosely loose on the sole bench.

Good food, good service and sweet helpful staff. Nice place to relax, probably many guests, but quiet anyway.
Many coziness hooks to the side. It pulls a little down that the room does not have extraction, but only an old roof pipe, where it blew a lot down. So 4.5 stars.

Great place. Even though we were quite ordinary guests while there were companies in all the larger rooms. Had given 5 stars if the coffee had also been a pleasure.

We were on our stay last year and were allowed extra cost to have Christmas lunch buffet instead of the 3 course menu. Throughout there has been sweet and competent service, the Christmas food was really good and really delicious. The rooms were clean and neat. All in all, we are super satisfied and would love to come again

Visited the hotel in connection with the celebration of New Year's evening, and unfortunately, experienced significant problems in connection with settlement from the restaurant, which is due to a lack of guidance from the staff.
The hotel subsequently did not want to find a solution to advertised problem.
Will definitely not visit this hotel again

We had a really good weekend stay with dancing. The staff was super nice, the food was great and the music was super.

Still waiting for the main course now 1 1/2 hours have passed and unfortunately we have a tired baby with us.

The first room had mold / mold on the walls of one chair. The rooms are generally worn and the hotel has seen better days. We had to ask for a new room because of the musty. On the positive side, the food is excellent and that is what gives them 2 stars. Price / quality is not at all related to the hotel part, whereas it is ok on the restaurent part. As a total experience, it is not value for money.

Need a modernization. You step back 30 years in time. The food in the restaurant was inedible so we had to eat somewhere else.
The compensation was a new stay, which under no circumstances will I use.

Good hotel and restaurant. Nice with pool for some evening relaxation. Have stayed here several times. One of my absolute favorite hotels in Denmark.

Was a decent stay. Dinner looked quite nice but service was rushed and a bit odd. Hotel has nice rooms with comfortable beds.

I would stay here again but if I came to this area I may check out some other places first.

The study room was really nice though if you want to relax and feel like you are in the past.

The swimming pool is borderline and the area around the pool is pretty beat up and not well kept (showers, hallway lights broken, etc).

Great place. Great people. Great restaurant. In fact, I found out rural Danemark, like this place, is much more enjoyable than downtown Copenhagen. Which is nice but a little too crowded and pricey as far as I am concerned.

Unusually good eatery and super service

This was a frustrating experience for us. The hotel it self is fine. Decor is outdated, with 70 s brown tiles and non-soundproofed doors. But rooms are large, fully outfitted and quiet. Good beds and dark curtains. The swimming pool and game room/library are a plus too. The restaurant is very classical. Very very classical, the menu, wine list and service are ooze the 70 s. With mains in the 35 range and glasses of wine from 8 it is not cheap. Our panfried Plaice with beurre noisette and steamed new potatoes and Veal steak with calvados sauce with home made pommes croquettes were really well prepared. Excellent ingredients cooked to perfection and well seasoned. So why just two stars? Because the restaurant was managed really badly and it took us two hours to be served. Arriving at 7PM we were told we could only get a table after 8PM. At 8.30 the head waitress told us in Danish they were full and we would have to go to somewhere else. We had to ask for another waiter to translate. This was unacceptable as we were hotel guests and a family with three hungry kids who had already waited for 1,5 hours. Basically, they knew we were coming and were waiting. So they ended up putting us outside on the smokers terrace with little light and uncomfortable chairs. No excuses, no compensation just an apologetic waiter.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast. The bed was comfortable. The internet was bad enough that I couldn t get connection with my laptop or phone in my room at time. Working WiFi is essential!

Food like our mother made it. Atmospheric place and good service but don't be in a hurry

The food was good but was not happy that we even had to ask for hot sauce and other things. My Irish coffee came so early that I was done when the others were going to start dessert

4 people i.a. chef and others associated with the restaurant industry met at the inn on October 11, 2012 to enjoy a good dinner.
We ordered a table via the internet, where we also saw that the menu of the month cost DKK 298.00, which was also on the sign by the road.
We were directed to our table and given the menu card. Now it turned out that the price for this month's menu was DKK 300.00. We did not really understand that.
We ordered the menu of the month anyway. The starter was mullet very small and stuffed with bones. However, it tasted good. The main course was beef tenderloin with i.a. Risotto. We got the main course served but did not get the risotto. It took 10 minutes before we got a bowl of risotto that looked more like porridge rice than risotto.
When the waiter asked if the food was OK, we mentioned that the risotto was not what we thought the risotto should be. She did not understand a thing, because that was what risotto should look like.
Incidentally, one of the female waiters was not very service-minded. We think she thinks we were very annoying.
The other servant, on the other hand, we were very pleased with. She also got the gratuity.

Extremely delightful place, with plenty of amenities. The food is good, though not the best, in relation to it being, such a large and well-known inn.

A charming old Inn with a view. Was there for a party and had a wonderful day. The staff was nice and the food was excellent!

First time I was there.
We were going to have lunch, 8 people.
Cozy restaurant, but is not impressed with the food.
It was mediocre at best.

Unfortunately I have no pictures, but burgers, shooting stars and Parisian steak were ordered.

It's a great place to eat. Do not know the price range when I was invited.

The place you just have to visit if is more to small schnitzler, rather than what you might expect.
