More staff is needed at the gates at peak times... When pre-booked it should be a quicker process to enter... Almost two hours waiting not acceptable... Inside the park was awesome as always

Great feeling of visiting animals free and free, and we are, stuck in cars, as it should be, always. Different from the common zoo. Kruger Park is a beautiful sanctuary, however the park guides are not so concerned with seeing the animals on the tours, in a way they follow their programmed route, different from the safari made by inns or specialized companies. In our case, we managed to spot all the Big Five. Because our ranger guide was very good, we did the tours with the inn "Foxy Crocodile Bush Retreat" located in Marloth Park, we highly recommend it. Gail and Mark are fantastic, they have lots of vegetarian options too.

Fantastic experience as usual in the Park. Amenities are clean and well kept. Of concern is a definite deterioration in the food quality, high expense of meals and lack of choice. Park needs some restaurant overhaul otherwise they will start losing tourists. Other than that this is definitely the best nature experience you can dream of , The rangers are very knowledgeable and campsites and lodges are well equipped.

Fun

We go to the Kruger every 2nd year or so. Whether you head up north where it's a bit more wild to see the baobab trees or stay in the south of the park where it's a quicker trip from Gauteng, you're guaranteed to see lots of game and have a relaxing stay.

This is a malaria area. Winter is low risk for malaria.

Well organized and rigid park with regard to schedules, attentive and polite staff, great infrastructure on the schedules also seems to have become clear to us that the purpose is and you use the local safari to see the animals once we were driving and we had time to return to the camp but the safari trucks without armed protection (if the danger were an animal attack) could run at any time!

A must visit for anyone visiting South Africa. I've been coming here since I could remember and it is always a great experience! The southern part of the park is exciting and has good viewing opportunities but during the busy holiday season it can be overrun by tourists and day visitors in the major camps and any good sighting gets packed with game viewing vehicles fast. The Northen part of the park is just as great but a little more relaxing as there is less traffic. No matter where you go, the park is a special place to visit!

The park is great to see all the big animals. You can drive with your own car also with a 2WD.
But we were not happy with some of the SANPARKS employees.
One of the Safari trucks drove into our car and even with 2 witnesses the SANPARKS employee Phindile (driver) was lying to us and refusing to give us her personal details for the insurance. Also her supervisor didn't give us her personal details and sent us to the wrong police station. We ended up at two different police stations and wasted lots of our time. I would expect a more professional work from SANPARKS employees.

The place is very good and refreshing, driving in the Bush with or without seeing animals is refreshingly different, the animals are a cherry on top for people who are from the hustle and buzzing of the city

An amazing park with the big 5 of the wild animals. A preferred destination for travelers and photographers. There are a few campsites you can stay at or if you prefer a lodge the option exists.
I found that travelling to Kruger in the months of March to May is a great time to see more animals.
Kruger is ideal for fauna and flora photographers.
At the campsites check the sighting boards and grab a bite to eat.

The park is huge but you can rent a car. I chose to get a package because it would come alone. Here nature is the boss and you should respect your time. There are several places to stay within the park, it is recommended to organize. I did a walking tour and it was really cool, I recommend.

Hammer Park! Absolutely worthwhile. With a little luck you will see many different animals in their natural environment. It is so intense to witness it. I recommend an experienced guide who knows the spots and the park like the back of his hand.
