Great national park. During the first jeep safari in the morning we saw the Big 5 within 2 hours. Give the drivers a little margin and they'll show you the places you want to see. Avarice is not cool here.

One of the best national parks I have visited. Ample of wildlife. Saw loads of impalas, zebras, khudus, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, and even a hippo. The cat family sleeps if it rains. Taking a safari allows you to focus on animals and raises the chances of animal and bird spotting. Follow instructions!

Beautiful park, in one day I could see giraffes, elephants, buffalo, rhinoceros, hippos, zebras, crocodiles, hyenas ... Unfortunately impossible to see a lion.
The secret is to go to water points or near rivers. Also, on opening and closing.
No need to take the dirt tracks, the roads are sufficient because they allow to stop at the same places as other people who will have seen the animal that you would not have seen. The tracks can see herds only, but you have to be lucky.

l love the Kruger ,nice holiday place to go if you would like to spend quality time with your loved ones.My favourite camps is now Bergen dal, Mopani,Lower Sabie and Letaba. Skukuza has a nice restaurant, but l did not enjoy my stay there, a lot of essentials were missing had to call duty manager to get towels and a kettle. Letaba and Lower Sabie have a Mugg& Bean restaurant.Try the Spribok at Cattle Baron at Skukuza and l enjoyed an open fresh trout sandwich at lower Sabie. Accomadation wise Bergendal has very nice accommodation, but their restaurants burnt down, so pack for self-catering. Service wise, Bergendal keep it up, you are the best.

The ideal place to see the Big5 or the dangerous6 and she has fulfilled the challenge!
Tip: buy a clear map with all the side roads on it, provide sufficient time, good binoculars, sufficient fuel and (for the women) a sports bra for the distance on gravel roads.

We have driven through the south of Kruger for a few hours and in the first few hours we saw some burned nature without animals. Death?
The last part was not related and we saw it in full nature, some elephants who were drinking at a concrete pool.
That was nice but if you are in South Africa it is better to do some safaris there you experience the adventure much more and at least you see the big 5.

Still the best park with a fantastic range of animals. Do not rush it!! Take at least a week if you can. There is lots to explore. Do at least one game drive with a guide, at both dawn and sunset. Enjoy the peace with very little mobile phone reception and spot the lion :)

I just love being in "The Kruger" (Kruger National Park), where human and animal exchange roles. Complete peace of mind, a place to visit with whole family, you can swim, braai or eat in a restaurant. There are reasonable resting places throughout The Kruger. I am particularly impressed with wordings in the boards on the sides of the road, your safety is guaranteed for as long as you abide by the rules. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Love the Kruger Park. Champagne quality animals at beer type prices. Stayed in Talamati camp which is pretty basic in that it has simple accommodation, no shop or restaurant and is only for self catering ... but what a great little place. Faces onto its own waterhole where we saw an amazing variety of animals without even leaving camp (including a herd of more than 50 elephants). What few staff were there were very friendly and we had a great guided night drive one evening.

You have to see
If you do something wrong u. Under no circumstances does a ranger get a bus immediately. This is a rip-off. The easiest way is not to pay.

Beautiful place... Soo much biodiversity... Makes one feel small! Drive along the s36 road to get a good "off-roady" feeling and spot elephants at the many watering holes! Don't forget to buy some biltong for the road at one of the camp shops :-)

Kruger is great and within three days you are able to see lots of different animals.
This time we were outside Orpen in the Guernsey game reserve and passed through Orpen Gate.
Before you get to the main entrance you pass through a check point, not exactly sure why and what this checkpoint is for, where the guard supposedly also hands out forms for the occupants of the car to be filled in.
We received no such form on the first day and only received a very poorly printed one on the second day.
Very unprofessionnal indeed SANPARK!
This delayed the process of "checking in" by about 30 min as a lot of people before us suffered the same.
Then the staff has to put all the info into a computer....slow and time consuming.
Why can one not check in once and then get a pass for the days one intends to visit?
The daily rate of R304 for a non resident is steep....do not milk the tourists.

The Mugg and Bean restaurants in Satara and Olifants Camps were replaced by Golden Circle.
The menu cards in Satara were so fatty, fingered and dirty that it turned us off to order something to eat.

The restaurant in Olifants is located in one of the finest parts of the Kruger.
We were so looking forward to having lunch there, but were disappointed.
Mugg and Bean insignia are still visible on the glass doors, and
the place was looking filthy and disorganised....tables and chairs not arranged, dirty table tops and dirty chairs; the constantina doors were broken and the glass panes needed urgent cleaning.
The floor had not been swept nor cleaned for many days.
We first arranged for our own table and chairs on the terrace....no staff to show us to a clean table and two chairs.
The people at the table next to ours fetched their own menucards, so we proceeded to do the same.
My husband found four staffmembers standing around the till area in the middle of the inside restaurant ignoring the new arrivals outside.
Because of temperature we decided to rather sit inside.
We could hardly squeeze past a large couch that was blocking the entrance to the restaurant as the constantina doors were broken and could not be opened.

The food, I ordered fish and chips, was not bad.
My husband opted for chicken schnitzel, and apart from two schnitzels he found two large slices of bacon ? and a cup of mashed avo??

Strange.....

We were in Kruger in Oct 2015, in three different camps and were happy to notice that outside caterers had replaced the awful "greasy spoon" usually on offer.
We were again in Kruger in Aug 2016 and stayed for four nights in Lower Sabie.
The restaurants in both Lower Sabie and Skukuza were very pleasant and good.

The four stars I have awarded to Kruger in my review are in connection with the abundance of wildlife that one finds in Kruger.

Based on our findings this last trip, the amenities such as toilets, restaurants and entry points only merit TWO STARS.

Simply indescribable! No reviews, no photos and no videos will ever make the thrill of visiting this park well. Huge herds of herbivores, big cats, thousands of birds, wonderful landscapes, unforgettable colors and scents. Inside there are numerous fields with restaurants, laundries, shops, petrol pumps; all well managed and with honest prices. To go back over and over again!

It is very different to see the animals in their environment, I suggest to separate at least about 4 days to try to make the most of it! You will be able to see the big 5 with ease, but the ride is interesting, there are other cool animals!

Best place to see animals in the wild in whole country of South Africa. Spent week there, will come again for more. Small tip - best time to view them is just 1 hour before sunset as they become more active.

My favorite place to unwind. I love the Bush and would go there anyday. If you are staying there for long, It's more fun to move from one camp to the other. I booked for 6 nights in one camp, I got bored at some point. It would even be more fun if Kruger opened up the pool area until late as there isn't much to do in the evening. The olifants camp restuarant must clean the bets feaces under the restuarant deck, it doesn't smell so good

We had two safari tours through Kruger. One afternoon and another sunset. We had a pleasant time and were delighted and fortunate to spot cheetahs and leopards along with , giraffes, hippos and hyenas during our tour.

This is a good, tame, leisurely way to experience African animals in their habitat for the first time.

We left for Botswana for a 3 night bush camp tour afterwards and that experience was 1000% more intense! We loved it a little more actually.
