this is possibly the best of the stores operated by Ateljee. Kringloopwinkle means second hand store in vlaams, literally "things that go around in a loop".
They have a section of "nice things" which features the finer items available in the store on a rotating basis. A small section for furniture, a room of kitchen wares that is the go-to place for students newly arrived in town and needing to setup a new apartment. There is a room full of books some of which are English, French and German but mostly Dutch (nederlands) of course. Upstairs all the floor area is for clothing and shoes of all types. The shopping experience is completed by the coffee shop across the park from the store. For those that like middle eastern food lunch and dinner are available at a restaurant opposite the coffee shop.
The only negative for a visitor is that the location is a bit hard to find. It is on a side street with little parking so plan to ride a bike or taxi there.
