Great atmosphere but incredibly pricey for the kind of food you get. $10 for tomato mozz and I got 3 half ripened slices with about 2oz of mozz. The steak had much to be desired but the grilled shrimp and sweet potato was really good!

Being identical to it's Plainview location, the Farmingdale location has the same menu and with the same quality food. The ribs are delicious and fall off the bone while the chicken rice soup has many of my family members raving about it. You'll never have to worry about missing a sports game/competition with the wall-to-wall TV screens. Have a long island iced tea to top off the good meal.

The perfect place to watch any sporting event. I organize NY Ranger meet ups here and it couldnt be a better location. The food, service, staff and managers are all very attentive and helpful. The menu is excellent and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend it!

Visit with your friends whether it's a group of guys, gals or a mixed group. Don't be a bore, bring the energy. But if you are boring, come along too! There's a lot to see and it's cool to hang out in a vibrant setting. Bring your kids if they're interested in sports and order food for the family, keep in mind that this is an alcoholic establishment. They are plenty of TVs and plenty of drinks to go around. I went for a work event and I enjoyed myself. Once in a Blue Moon for me. I probably won't be back unless invited for another event

They have A LOT of menu options. It was slightly overwhelming, but it was good to know that there are options available for everyone. Food was good, it could use a little bit more seasoning though. I got the grilled chicken plate, and my sister got this lemon chicken meal. The meals both came with a salad to start, which was great for me. The portions were huge! Definitely a good value. Also, the staff is very nice. This would be a good place to watch the game or just chill with friends.

I went to meet a group of friends on a Saturday @630...it was unbelievably busy!! People were packed in like sardines & I can't deal with that kind of closeness...people constantly squeezing by...stepping on your feet, hitting into your drink! This was just the bar area!! Staff was great, but crowd unreal!! Also parking was a hassle too, as located next to a furniture outlet center!

The service was great. The beer specials were good and they had a large variety of beers. The menu has a very large variety of food as well and everyone in my party like their food from a buffalo chicken wrap to a steak to a French dip. My only regret is we went on trivia night so it was very loud at times even without a huge crowd.

Food is delicious. Everything is fairly priced for the serving sizes. The service is attentive. Even if there is a party going on you can sit far enough away because the place is massive.

I don't think there's a better place to watch a sporting event. I believe they have around 50 TVs arranged throughout the dining area.

There are two bars. The main bar is U-shaped and seats about 30.

The decor is nice. Service is excellent. Everything is very clean.

I saw a HUGE selection of liquor and at least 20 taps. I believe they offer Happy Hour specials weeknights from 4 - 7 pm.

The menu is extensive and the food is very good.

If you have one hour for lunch this place is doable as the service is very quick.

Big and spacious, nice decor for a bar and grill, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I've been here for lunch a few times both for work events and once personally. I once ate a lunch that looked and tasted like a warmed up Lean Cuisine. I took 2 bites & didn't finish it. The service is eh. I feel like I've had more servers who lacked patience and friendliness than not. If I didn't have to go for work functions, I would not come here other than for a beer (not a mixed drink because they're watered down) and I rarely drink beer so there you have it. Consistently disappointing. And I rarely leave negative reviews.

It's always a good time at The Main Event. Great spot to grab a drink for happy hour after work if you work in the area. Can't comment on the food because I haven't eaten here (I'm on an alcohol diet LOL) but it always smells good!
