Great big rooms and very good service ( breakfast could be better)

I stayed here one night early in January and overall it was a disappointing experience. The hotel is located in what could only be described as a housing estate. On arrival we had lunch in the bar and menu was limited and very expensive. We ordered the burger and it was very disappointing. Our room was spacious but not very clean as we found a fake eyelash, in plain sight, beside the window. We had both booked the same treatment in the spa and had two very different experiences. The intensity and quality of the treatment varied. Although it was supposed to last an hour an ten minutes it was in fact less than an hour. Another area where our experience was less than satisfactory was when it came to the staff. Overall we found the service very slow particular room service and service at dinner. Twice we made requests to reception for items to be delivered to the room. We had a ring a second time on both occasions as we left waiting more than half an hour. Overall we were left disappointed leaving the Knightsbrook Hotel.

We had our wedding in the Knightsbrook Hotel on the 29th December 2019. Words cannot express how amazing and wonderful it was from start to finish , from the gorgeous food to exceptional staff. Knightsbrook Hotel you have excelled yourself . perfect venue, perfect food, words don't do justice . You made our day more than we ever could imagined and we are forever thankful . Mary Troy you are amazing as are patrick and the rest of the staff. So obliging and helpful. Take a bow, you are truly outstanding x Wish I could do it all again. Excellent customer service. Stayed one night. Need a swim cap to use the complimentary pool - so I had a delicious Jacuzzi instead. Ensuite included a spa bath. Room was warm comfortable clean.

We were there last night for an 80th party. The building is lovely and very well presented but the Rocco restaurant was terrible the food wasn't very good at all, I myself had the chicken and it was overcooked and dry and chewy my partner had steak and there was way too much fat on it the service was slow, there was 32 in our party and not one of us said that was lovely its way over priced not impressed at all .......

It is the most beautiful hotel I have ever been in and the staff were very friendly and attentive

I was given the nights stay in the hotel as a Christmas present it was highly recommended to my fiance by her friends.

We found the receptionist very nice and she even upgraded our room for us. The room was fantastic clean spacious so thank you.

My issue was the food and drink. When we checked in we went into the bar for a drink. My fiance got a g&t I got a pint of Guinness. The Guinness was warm and a bad pint I left most of it.

When I went to order another round I said it to the barman about the Guinness and he said he would look into it. I ordered a Heni and another g&t and again the lager was flat. I did not look for a refund for either drink I figured I had already told the barman and left it at that.

We went for food in the rear lounge and I ordered ribs that came with corn on the cob fries and coleslaw. The corn had no holders I had to eat with my hands and was stone cold so I sent it back explaining to the waitress who was very helpful.

It returned hot no holders again and pickled with salt so left it. The coleslaw came in a plastic little dish you might get in McDonald's so disappointing for a high grade hotel.

My fiance ordered a caeser salad with chicken. She found the chicken tough and burnt and the salad bland with no dressing.

The waitress came back over she could see we were not happy we just said we were disappointed with it. We declined the desert and paid our bill and left a generous tip. Her service was great it was not her fault.

We went to the bar to look at the band... 2 direction or something like that they were fantastic.

I tried another pint and gave up and went onto bottles as it still tasted wrong.

My fiance worked in hospitality for many years and tried explaining that the run from the kegs to the taps may be long and the drink settles in the lines when not busy and also explained that in the evening the chef has most likely gone home and a junior or trainee probably prepares our food and was not checked before being served.

In fairness I think she felt terrible as she got me this as a gift.

I had bought Julie a treatment as a gift and she said it was fantastic.

In truth the hotel was lovely the staff fantastic the band brill but the food and drink was extremely disappointing.

Julie said it to the receptionist when we checked out on Sunday who thanked her for her feedback and would speak to the chef.

The room we stayed in was 406 well worth booking it's a beautiful room.

Had our wedding here just over 2 months ago and where do I start.all of the groom's party's bags disappeared in the hotel for hours with the kids chargers in the bags for their tablets and phones. Brides flower bouquet was ruined by a staff member .was contacted by the manager paddy with an offer to stay in the hotel for free to say sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Nice, big and clean house with garden. Great value for money. Unfortunately we had no hot water on the first day and could nowhere else shower. Otherwise the stay was very pleasant

Think for a 4 star hotel the spa facilities need up dating especially towels and bedding. Staff where lovely though

Absolutely fabulous hotel...met with a warm friendly smile...easy check in. All facilities clearly explained on arrival. Lifts to all floors. Rooms lovely clean and spacious. Food in bar and restaurant is top quality. Spa is amazing experience well worth a visit. Plenty of parking on site. Highly recommended

Nice deluxe room, fitness club and spa. Spending a relaxing birthday treat with my wife.

Calm, peaceful place for families and sports vacation. All green everywhere. Not much to do in the area though if you don't have a car. The staff and the Irish people are super friendly and kind. The breakfast was strange for my eating habits.

Modern Hotel and Golf resort on the edge of Trim town. Good for weddings and celebrations.
Good food in hotel and adjoining Golf Club.
Have eaten there on a few occasions . Can't comment on accommodation and prices but seems impressive.

We attended an event here and the food was nice. Unfortunately the microphone was faulty and it made the speeches difficult to follow.

They could at least wear a mask when they are robbing you. A lot of the staff are not that nice.

Played golf at knightsbrook. The course is well laid out and a good challenge. The food in the hotel is first class.

It s fine for what it is. A convenient place to stay in an area that doesn t seem to have a *lot* of choice in the way of places to stay. But I was disappointed by huge vending machines selling nothing but bottled water (I m big on sustainability so encouraging people to buy water in plastic bottles makes me super angry), strange service that was either poor or just plain lazy and never really good as well as lackluster food and drinks in the bar and main dining room. I did not get to partake in the spa or golf so I can t review either of those.

We arrived at resort in August 2019, and it's a very beautiful place. Bed are very comfortable and sheets feel great. My main issue is the bathroom. I'm 6'2 250 lbs, broad shoulders. The glass that in the shower did nothing for keeping water in the shower. I spent more time and all the towels cleaning up the water off the floor then I was in the shower. So if your a plus size person like me. Bring an extra shower curtain.

We recently stayed and availed of the Tayto Park deal. One night B&B with tickets to enter Tayto Park.

Room was absolutely fabulous, 2 single beds for the kids and a double for ourselves. Plenty of space with couch, jacuzzi bath etc.

We dined at the bar in the evening which was mediocre. My burger was lukewarm and wife's portion of Mac b Cheese was measly.

Live music at the bar was very loud and could hear it from our room. Difficult to get to sleep especially the kids and the room was very warm with no air conditioning.

Buffet breakfast was superb and we didn't leave hungry before our trip to Tayto Park.

Overall staff were very friendly and the experience is worth the 4 star rating. If we are to return to Tayto Park will definitely look at getting a deal here again.

Stayed here last night with 2 friends, Very comfy rooms had a king room and a family room both fabulous. Food was excellent and staff were so lovely. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Got married here in 2011, have attended two weddings as a guest and have had dinner here on numerous occasions, very eloquent, warm and inviting hotel. Pool is fantastic too. Highly recommend here.

Nice stay we bought the 1 night offer package that includes dinner and the access to thermal area. Everything was good but not outstanding, we had to wait a lot to be seated at the restaurant on saturday night.

Knightsbrook Hotel is a great place to eat in Trim. Welcoming, with great
bar food and lots of lounge areas. Free parking. Ideal for kids.

We had our wedding reception at Knightsbrook Hotel a year ago and everything was excellent! All our guests loved the place and the food! Today, we went back to the Hotel to have our 1 year Anniversary Dinner (on the house) and we had a great time! The Hotel was Beautifully decorated for Christmas and the restaurant was lovely and cozy. Food - exceptional! Personnel - very kind! Totally recommend the place! We sure love it and go back there every time we have the chance.

Beautiful hotel with great accomodating staff and great thermal suite.food is excellent too. If you want to book a treatment do it in advance as due to the high standard it is always busy.

I was at a conference at this hotel today. It is a fine hotel and the food was very nice. The staff were very friendly. I would have no hesitation stopping here for lunch again.
